Son-in-law Unwanted

Son-in-law Unwanted
Chapter 7 Caught

"What's the outcome?" Rosa took the paper from her son's hand. Although he knows for sure what the results are, but it is incomplete if not pretend to be innocent.

Candra wanted to stop her mother from seeing the lab results, but was late and lost quickly to Rosa. He still could not believe the result, could have his wife slandered, right?

The man felt very familiar with Melinda, so it was impossible for the woman he loved so much to do something as low as this. Moreover, it affords sleeping pills with high doses. Luckily after being checked, Cici was okay, just sleeping normally because of the effects of the drug.

"Mama told you, right? Your wife must have mixed something in Cici's food. And the results as you can see for yourself, there are high doses of sleeping pills in Cici soup. It's only in Cici soup, because in other soups there's no." Rosa asked for laboratory results of the soup examination that other people besides Cici ate.

After the brown envelope was in Rosa's hands, she took out a few sheets of white paper. "This is another soup lab. You can see for yourself."

Candra looked at the lab results one by one. He was shocked and could not believe that Melinda the good wife was giving sleeping pills in Cici soup. And he must find the truth about this case. Someone else must have done it and committed all wrongs to Melinda.

After returning the paper to her mother, Candra gathered all the servants in this house. He asked them one by one.

"I don't know, Young Master. I served in the front, not in the kitchen" Mina replied as Candra asked her.

"Who is in the kitchen?" ask Candra again.

Mina mentioned several names that helped Melinda cook and prepare dishes in the kitchen. And when Candra swarmed them one by one, no one confessed.

He was confused half to death. It had to be how he found the person who slandered Melinda and made Cici half as faint as she was now.

The whole maid dispersed. Candra massaged his forehead. "It has to be how I figure out a way to show that it's not my wife who's mixing the sleeping pills" she murmured desperately.

After cradling a few moments, he chose to ask one of the maids who was in the kitchen with Melinda. This time he would not ask in front of many people, but just the two of them alone.

"What's up, Mr Candra?" ask the housekeeper named Lilis.

"Sit down first." Candra pointed at the chair in front of her.

After Lilis sat down, Candra continued her question. "You can tell me about who mixed sleeping pills in Miss Cici's soup bowl" she said straight to the heart of the matter.

"Huh? Meanin?" Lilis confused. "But I don't know what you mean." Actually he understood, but he had to perform for his own safety.

Previously, he had been brafed by Rosa if an event like this would happen, and he chose to hide the facts.

"So you have absolutely no idea who slandered my wife?" ask Candra again.

"I'm sorry, sir, but if that's a reality what? Who knew Young Madam was indeed the one who mixed the medicine. Because if I see it looks like no one dares to do that unless there's a personal grudge."

"If it be of us, how dare it be, sir. There will be fired. It's been safe all along, right? Before Young Madam came to this house too Miss Cici often ate here and nothing happened."

Candra nodded in understanding. She thanked him and walked to his room. Reprimanding Melinda did not hurt, so that later the woman did not repeat her actions.

His heart was hot with anger. He had to rebuke Melinda so as not to repeat the deed. Moreover, this concerns the life of someone. Luckily only sleeping pills are mixed in Cici soup, if rat poison does not die directly Cici now. And before Melinda does anything bigger, she has to be a little tough on the woman.

"Mas." Melinda welcomed Candra's arrival in the room, as she had been looking forward to this moment. Candra looks for comfort in her husband's chest. She inhaled the scent of her husband's body and her heart felt a little calm.

Candra pushed Melinda's body. "Do you have any problem with Cici? Why mix sleeping pills in soup?" He immediately spilled his frustration. "You're mad at Cici because I drive her home a lot? Or do you assume that Cici is a bully?"

Melinda who was initially happy because Candra to the room became very surprised when she heard the sentence from the man who married her. He shook his head in disbelief. Why would Candra accuse him?

Does Candra also believe that she intends to harm Cici? Though Candra knew for a long time, even to swat the mosquito that bit her he did not have the heart, then what could he harm Cici?

"Mas is not me" Melinda said. What did he do that anyway? It comes to giving sleeping pills in Cici soup alone never.

"You should be able to think clearly before you do that" said Candra again.

"Ta-pi isn't me, Mas. I have absolutely no intention of harming Cici, let alone the thought of mixing sleeping pills. This must be slander, Mom. You believe me, right?" Melinda wiped her tears.

He had since held back that the water in his eyes did not spill, but what he wanted to say, finally he could no longer be held back because now the only person he believed would defend him was accusing him.

The shady-eyed woman felt alone now, if she had felt that there was still someone who wanted her presence in this house, now she felt that what she was doing would be in vain.

"I'm not defending Cici, but I don't expect my wife to do such a lowly thing." Candra rubbed her face in frustration.

"Sorry." Melinda. Tears are getting louder and out of her petals. He didn't know what to apologize for, but he felt it was all he could do. Want to deny and explain as long as anything will no longer be useful. Candra already found him guilty of this sleep drug case.

"I don't want a wife I love doing this low. I don't know you that bad, Mel. I really don't know you like this. You are no longer Melinda who has always been kind to everyone."

"Mas–"

"You're changing, Mel."

"No, Mas. I'm still your Melinda. Nothing has changed."

"But you hurt Cici, Mel. Means I would never do that."
