Chapter 14 The Grief of Melinda

Melinda did not step forward, nor did she retreat. He's stuck in his place. Up ahead, they looked more like family than her. His heart is like being crushed, but he has to stay, right?

"Here in, Ma'am. Coincidentally I want to go home for a while, so Melinda's sister will replace me to take care of Mama, yes," Cici pinta.

He wanted to get there, but abandoned his intentions and chose to check in on her in-laws only. If he's in his room right now, he just saw it wrong.

Melinda hesitated to open the door to her in-laws' room, but she wanted to prove herself what she had seen just now. Slowly open the door.

The woman breathed a sigh of relief, looking like she was asleep in bed, which meant that she just saw it wrong.

The days that followed were still the same, Candra still mediated her and Cici still stuck to her husband. While he is more like a son-in-law who is not considered in this Pagalo family.

He sat in front of the television, watching the Korean drama after finishing his work when Cici came over and sat next to him.

"Sir Rosa thank you, yes." Cici immediately hugged Melinda.

The bewildered Melinda did not reply, but she furrowed her forehead when once again Cici thanked her.

"Thank you for what?" ask Melinda curious. Because he did absolutely nothing for Cici, so why would Cici say thank you?

"To the sincerity of Mbak Mel. I'm so happy to finally be Melinda's honey."

"Mama said we're getting married soon."

Melinda looked quickly. "Mas Candra never divorced me. We're fine, so how could he possibly marry another woman."

Little laugh. "Mama said that soon I would be her daughter-in-law. So Melinda didn't know that Mas Candra was going to marry me?"

Melinda shook her head. He still convinced himself that this was just a sleeping flower. Yes, he will wake up in the morning in a better condition. And Candra will definitely not divorce him.

"I don't mind if Ms. Melinda doesn't approve of our marriage, which is important Mas Candra love me. We can marry siri." Cici nodded his head confidently.

Melinda wanted to ask what Cici and her in-laws meant to Candra, but where was the man? From yesterday even last night his face was not visible at all. He can't just hang like this.

The curiosity got bigger when Cici told me that they had done the fitting of the wedding dress. When and where? Why didn't he know they were planning a wedding?

"Well, I want to go back to my mom's room again. Thanks again, Melinda. We'll keep Mas Candra together in a minute." He stood up and looked at Melinda who was still beaten.

Melinda gets Cici's departure with nanar. Why did it have to be like this eventually? Can't it be a bail-just fine like the one before? Will the marriage just end?

The woman stood up, limped she walked towards the room. Along the way, the memory of Candra promising to keep her to death flashed, was that just a moment's appeal? In fact, he was ultimately disappointed.

"Mas, is my fault that big? Until you want to replace me with another woman?" Melinda held onto the table because her body was limp, as if she could no longer sustain all her pain and disappointment.

Melinda waited for Candra to come home, she had to make sure that what she heard from Cici was not the truth.

Melinda shook her head.

"So I'm the same mama who was mamitin, huh?"

Melinda turned around and went back into the room. He checked Candra's suitcase and the man's shirt. Sure enough, some Candra clothes do not exist. That means her husband is out of town. But why not be at all pleased with him? Minimal says.

Does it mean nothing else in Candra's life? Until only Cici is hammered and he is not? Or is Candra tired of him?

Melinda has had a lot of tears for weeks, and as a result she will be pitted even more unregarded in this family. Just futile!
