Chapter 8 Apologize

Melinda slid to the floor. Her own husband did not believe her, and to whom would he complain now? He looked at the husband sitting on the edge of the bed. Seemed depressed, just like him.

Throughout her life, Melinda had never been slandered like this. He always tried to be a good person and stay away from problems, but this time he felt bad because of unexpected circumstances.

"Sorry, Mom." Melinda manekuri the floor, she did not know what other words could be said to Candra. Maybe he was guilty, but that was all Melinda could say.

He started to remember the change in attitude of his in-laws lately. Is it possible that this is all because of that woman? Her in-laws who slandered her? But why Cici?

Melinda wants to say that it's possible that Rosa slandered her, but Candra won't believe it. He has done it several times, complaining about the attitude of his mother-in-law to Candra, but the result is Candra still more trust in her mother.

'I really didn't expect that my in-laws would do such a lowly thing to get rid of me. But is it really him who gave the sleeping pills in Cici soup? Should I just tell Mas Candra about my suspicions? But if he gets even more angry how?' inner Melinda.

He took a breath, then exhaled slowly. Trying to strengthen his own heart.

"Now Mama is very angry when she finds out you made Cici half unconscious, and certainly will not want to forgive you just like that" said Candra still blame his wife. He still believed what his mother and Lilis said.

"Then what should I do, Mom? I don't want anything to happen to Cici." Melinda looked at Candra, asking for support and a way out for the matter.

"You think you have to do it yourself." Candra left Melinda alone in their room. Of course the goal was the room where Cici was. He had to make sure the girl was okay.

After being abandoned by her husband, Melinda got up from her seat. He was looking for a way out of his problem this time.

"Am I going back home? Let's just get it all done. Didn't Mama Rosa dislike my presence here?" Melinda mumbled softly.

He thought again, if later returned to his home, would certainly make his father disappointed, because the marriage had only gone two weeks, but if he still survive here, would he be able to?

His hands patted the chest, eliminating the tightness that was in the heart. "Why is it all like this?" his weakness.

In the morning, Melinda was able to think more clearly, after washing her face and hearing news from Mina that Cici was conscious. Melinda plans to apologize to Cici. Apologizing first doesn't mean losing, does it?

Melinda still does all the housework. He also finishes faster than usual to grab Candra's heart back.

"Young Lady don't eat first? Looks like Miss Cici is getting more intense now." Mina delivers breakfast to Melinda. She felt sorry for Melinda never being invited to eat with other family members at the dinner table.

"Thank you, Bi. I'll be there to see Cici's condition." He immediately ate his food.

"Yes already, I'm back in the kitchen again, yes, Him. Later when you're done put the plate here, let me take it."

Melinda nodded and continued to finish her breakfast. After that, I took a shower and dressed a little. The woman came out of the room, set foot into Cici's room to see the girl.

I doubt it actually is, but if you don't do this, the problem will not be solved. So Melinda steadied her heart and knocked on Cici's room and entered.

Melinda shook her head. "No, Ma. I just want to apologize to Cici." He glanced at Candra who was beside Cici.

"So you admit that you gave the sleeping pills?" ask Rosa directly.

Melinda wanted to shake her head, but she paused and chose to nod. "Sorry."

In her heart, Rosa laughed in satisfaction. Surely after this Candra will hate Melinda because of this incident. And the plan to teach the poor woman a lesson and kick her out of the house was arguably successful.

"So people have to be self-conscious, you must be jealous right seeing Candra close to Cici? But you should know, they are like brothers. So there is no need to be jealous of Cici," said Rosa pretend to give understanding, unlike what has been said before if Cici and Candra are a couple.

"Yes, Ma. I'm sorry." Melinda.

Candra who saw the sincerity of Melinda was happy, finally his wife could admit her mistake. He prefers it like this. Apologizing first does not mean losing.

"It's okay, Ma'am. Sorry if you often make Ms. Melinda upset because Mas Candra drove me here and there, because since childhood we were both everywhere," explained Cici with a smile.

"So you forgive me?" ask Melinda again.

"Of course." Cici did that so that Candra saw that he was a good person, actually Cici since yesterday was not as sleepy as that. He heard when everyone was noisily blaming Melinda, but for his purpose, he had to come together with his future mother-in-law.

Melinda thanked Cici for her apology. He just wanted everything to be fine, even though it was very degrading to his pride.

"Next time don't repeat!" Rosa said while glancing at Candra. He saw his son clenching his hands. "You should be able to keep the name of your husband and the Pagalo Family."

"Yes, Ma." Melinda nodded back.

"It's a good thing you gave me sleeping pills, if it's people's food, you must have been reported to the police by now." Cici continued Rosa's words.

"Yes, Mother. Sorry, because I didn't think long." Melinda saw Candra. "Sorry, Mom, I can't keep your good name."

Candra nodded without saying anything. He held back all his might not to pounce on Melinda here. His hands clenched, so that the sudden passion when he saw Melinda was not visible in the eyes of others.

It had been days that he had not touched the woman, so it was natural that she almost died holding her back. But as waiting for Melinda was a little more relaxed than her homework, she tried to be patient. Until finally yesterday there was an incident that made the passion that had been lost instantly. But this morning towards noon, the sense of wanting to reach the heaven of the world was again present when staring at Melinda in a yellow negligee patterned with sunflowers.

"Follow me to the room!" Candra got up from her seat and pulled Melinda's hand out of the room. He can't take it anymore.

Cici and Rosa laughed in satisfaction after seeing Candra who looked angry at Melinda. "We've finally made it, Ma." Cici nudged Rosa's arm. "I assure you, they must be divorced this time."
