Substitute Woman

Ades waited on the waiting room bench to check the contents. She looked so happy when she saw the mothers holding her baby. He imagined himself doing the same. What a beautiful sight.

"Excuse me, can I sit here?" ask a woman who looks younger than Ades. She was holding a little girl, probably three years old. She was so beautiful and also cute with her hair being pinched in half.

"Please" Ades replied gently and smiled kindly.

"Mama, check on the baby later. We buy ice cream yes" said the girl smoothly. She is so adorable and so smart. Ades listened to the conversation they both felt envious and eager to have such small talk to his son later.

"It's funny, ma'am. How old is mba?" asked Ades who was so curious about the two of them.

"The age is three years and eight months" answered the woman sitting next to Ades.

"Owh, so the difference is not too close as well mba equally adeknya".

"How many months has it been?" Ades asked about her pregnancy. It looks like his stomach is so very big that he may have entered the age of six months more.

"Eight months ago mba. He was entering his birth month. Today deliberately want to check if it can be normal".

"Only last month the doctor advised me to have a cesarean section for the birth of my first child" the woman smiled. Ades was confused by the words of this young lady. How could he say this was the birth of his first child? Is this little boy his stepson?

"We stopped by Kanaya's house directly huh. I told Mr. Kanaya that we were going there" said Ades, who was installing his safety belt.

"Alright my queen" said Dio who looked so happy. Ades laughed at her husband's behavior. Like a child.

Arriving there, they were greeted by Kanaya and Ryan who were sitting on the terrace.

"Papa" cried Ryan who immediately ran and rushed towards Dio. Kanaya who witnessed this looked dumbfounded. Ryan never acted like that to Adrian during his stay in this house.

Since the death of Ivanka Adrian and Kanaya decided to move and live in Adrian's house. They decided it was for the convenience of Ryan staying with them. Security at home was also tightened. The number of CCTVs was increased and installed almost all corners. All of that is directly connected to Adrian's laptop and mobile phone. It was easy for him to keep an eye on Kanaya and Ryan.

"Son Kanaya how are you?" ask Ades and hug Kanaya.

"I want to take Ryan to stay with us. Dio is Ryan's father. It's fitting that he takes care of and is responsible for Ryan's needs. It is not the responsibility of Kanaya or Adrian" the words that come out of Ades' mouth make Kanaya surprised. He did not expect that Ades could think so very maturely like this. It's not that he thinks Ades is immature, it's just that he looks so much stronger than the Ades he used to know.

"Are you serious?" Kanaya felt Ades was just joking. But Ades nodded firmly indicating yes.

"Are you sure?" Kanaya asked again to convince.

"Yes brother. God willing I am sure brother. I'll think of him as my son too. Moreover, Ryan will soon have a younger brother" Ades stroked his belly which was bigger than Kanaya.

"Look, he's moving. Surely he was also happy to stay with his brother" Ades chuckled cheerfully feeling the tiny body inside his stomach start to move actively. Although his small movements have not been seen clearly, but can feel his movements Ades is very happy.

"Like this, it feels like you're pregnant. Feeling happy when we know there is one life that depends on us" Ades looked in at Kanaya then turned to Ryan who was still fun playing with Dio.

"I think Ryan also needs protection and warmth from a mother. Although she was only a surrogate woman to be his mother" Ades smiled. He felt that all the burdens and restlessness that had plagued his heart had evaporated were simply gone. When we are sincere, there is a real calm that we need.

"If you don't mind taking care of Ryan, I'll leave it to you. But don't ever turn down our help for Ryan's needs".

"We take care of him together. You are a great woman Des. I'm proud of you" Kanaya said, holding Ades' hand. Dio approaches Ades and Kanaya while holding Ryan.

"Darling, we should be home soon. Mom just called. She said she had just fallen out of the bathroom" Dio said with a panicked face. Ades and Kanaya who heard it also panicked.

"Let's go home now. Sis, then I say yes" Ades kissed Kanaya's hand to leave immediately. While Dio wants to lower Ryan who is now being carried by him.

"Papa goes home first, we play again. Grandma said it had fallen" Ryan's countenance instantly turned moody when Dio said it. There was no response or response from Ryan.

"Come on the hunt, he said we should go home quickly".

"Loh, Ryan's been left behind".

"Ryan here baby, come with me. We see the state of the grandmother at home" Ades' longing to Ryan made himself immediately smile and ran towards Ades. Afterwards Ryan looked towards Kanaya.

"Ryan is smart there. Take care of Mama Ades as well as the baby" Kanaya said as she swept away the tears that had dripped down her cheeks. While Dio was just confused not to understand everything that had just happened.

"Yes mama Naya" Ryan waved towards Kanaya.

"Come in, baby. Ryan wanted to call Ades' mom" Ryan nodded and hugged Ades from the side.

"Thank you, Ades, for loving Ryan".

"Mama Ivanka once said that Ryan should love and protect Ades' mother and sister that Ryan is growing up" Ades could not hold back his tears. She hugged Ryan tightly, she had misunderstood Ryan's presence in her life. She never expected Ivanka to be so kind and teach her children good things.

"I promise you Ivanka, I will take care of and educate Ryan with affection and love" she said in a happy heart.
