Eps. 218 Meet Sheriff Tasman
Briptu Venus then drove a motor showing the location where Canary Airline was expected to fall when it exploded.
“Quiet your mind, Scarlet.” Briptu Venus saw the look on the face of her colleagues and family was tense.
He knows that Briptu Scarlet is in a relationship with Detective Carl. He also knew what the purpose of his family's arrival was.
“Don't worry, I'm fine,” said Briptu Scarlet trying to hide her sadness so as not to look also troublesome family.
“Police agents here with other search teams are still continuing to search from yesterday. Even today's search is carried out more vigorously and longer than before after the discovery of several victims. I'll ask my colleague who is also a member of the search team later when I get there.”
Briptu Scarlet simply nodded and commented on the thin smile on the tip of her lips.
Moments later the car arrived at the crash site of a Canary Airlines plane. There were many teams evacuating and moving.
Even along the white sand that is there can be seen pieces of airplane carcasses lying everywhere.
“Has the black box been found?” ask Sheriff Tasman who happened to be there.
“Not yet, Sheriff. We didn't find anywhere. We suspect the black box was already taken by someone.”
“Taken someone? Did someone hijack that plane?” So there is a new assumption if someone sabotages the plane.
There's something strange here on that plane there's Detective Carl, if someone hijacks the plane, surely that guy can handle it first, right ? inner Sheriff Tasman.
“Sorry, we don't know, Sheriff.”
Sheriff Tasman then just took a deep breath. He turned around when someone called him.
“Sherif Tasman, wait,” call someone.
The man finally stopped. He approached someone who called him. “Briptu Venus, what's here looking for me?”
“Actually it's not me who's looking for you, but this colleague of mine.” That voice is the voice of Briptu Venus.
He then introduced Briptu Scarlet to his boss. Of course that guy doesn't know Briptu Scarlet.
“There can I help you with?” ask Sheriff Tasman. He thought the police agent was one of the families of the Canary Airlines passenger victims.
“Look, I specifically came here to inquire about Carl. Did you find him?”
“So you're Detective Carl's girlfriend?”
Briptu Scarlet nodded. “So, do you know where Carl is?”
Sheriff Tasman shook his head, “Sorry. We tried as hard as we could to find him. But there hasn't been a single clue as to the whereabouts of Detective Carl. If only he had followed my advice to return to Switzerland today maybe he wouldn't have had that accident.”
The man also told Briptu Scarlet that he had previously worked with Detective Carl on this mission. He also told me that he offered a cooperation that was rejected directly on the grounds that he did not want to leave his woman.
“Carl..” Briptu Scarlet looked powerless and limp, after hearing a long story from Sheriff Tasman.
“If there is any recent info regarding this search specifically regarding Detective Carl, I will inform you soon, Miss.” Sheriff Tasman then left. He could not linger there because his affairs in the office were still a lot.
Getting such info, instead of Briptu Scarlet seemed calm. It's getting hysterical. After the departure of Sheriff Tasman, he ran towards the evacuation team.
Some officers found the victim's pace from the bottom of the waters and laid him on the edge.
“Carl, where are you?” Briptu Scarlet saw one by one the corpses lying on the white sand.
He continued searching as if he had almost lost his mind, and he was relieved not to find his dead body.
“I'm sure you're alive. You jerk come out, don't hide like this! You really drove me crazy this time, Carl.”
Briptu Scarlet then sat limply on the white sand. He closed his eyes for a while, cutting both hands.
“Scarlet! You okay?”
Briptu Venus immediately ran to the family. He could see if his family was hit hard after seeing the bodies of the victims found.
He took her away and went back to the car instead of Briptu Scarlet more hysterical and unsettled.
In the car, Briptu Scarlet accidentally dropped the phone next to her. Even he did not know if he was currently contacting someone accidentally.
“Who are you calling?” ask Briptu Venus.
Briptu Scarlet took the phone from beside her which was overstressed by her body.
“Carl?”
