Eps. 3 Meet the System
Detective Carl meets someone he never knew or met at all.
A man dressed in a neat suit wearing a hat and carrying a gun suddenly came and chased after him.
“dor !” even the man fired several bullets at him.
“Sial, who is that mysterious man ? And why chase me ?” detective Carl runs and pulls a gun from the scabbard and shoots back at the mysterious man while dodging a bullet heading towards him.
However, despite avoiding the bullets of the mysterious man, he manages to catch up with detective Carl. Until the two of them were now standing at a distance of 10 cm only with hands clashing with a gun.
“I don't know whose messenger you are and what your purpose is to pursue me.” Detective Carl pressed the coke of his gun and prepared to shoot the mysterious man in front of him.
“You stupid man who easily gives up just with trivial problems.” The mysterious man pointed a gun right in the forehead of detective Carl while smilingly sneering.
“What do you mean ?” detective Carl frowned as he did not understand what he was saying while moving his gun to the mysterious man's head.
“Huh.” the mysterious man returned a cynical smile towards him. “What if there is someone who will help you voluntarily alleviate your problem ?”
Detective Carl increasingly does not understand what the mysterious man said while continuing to listen to his long chatter.
“Yes, I will help you realize all your desires including your revenge on your rivals. By carrying out the mission from me then you will get points that can be exchanged for various items. How ?” the man ended his explanation and waited for his decision.
Detective Carl doesn't understand the nonsense that the mysterious man utters that makes him even more clueless about where they're going.
“No... !” the man replied not because he refused but because the mysterious man shot him in the head which made him want to scream because he was not ready to die.
“Haah..” Detective Carl opened his eyes with a breath of cold sweat. “What dream did I just have, how strange ?”
“Jeez... This is a mysterious man's gun in my dream earlier.” he was surprised to see a gun near his feet very similar to a gun belonging to a mysterious man in his dreams. “Hey you, come out !”
Detective Carl immediately stood up and pulled out his own gun by idly observing around and preparing to shoot if he saw a slight movement.
“It looks like I was still carried away in my dream earlier.” he pum reclined his gun and picked up the gun he found.
Detective Carl observes a gun in his hand that is similar to the type CH-37 but he also never saw the type of weapon he found.
“Where exactly is this gun ?” he didn't find exactly where the gun came from and prank pulled the trigger.
“dor.” when a bullet slides from the gun into the air a shocking thing happens. The bullet suddenly exploded in the air and two seconds after it appeared like a computer panel with a large screen in front of it and various task options that did not understand at all.
“What is this ?” the man noticed there were two big icons there, "start" and "reject" and then read the other options below.
After activation you will get the first mission to complete. Choose right now, take the mission or not ?
“What is this, like a game only ?” detective Carl was idly pressing the start button and shortly after it appeared large writing on the screen "mission one has been received. There is a list of missions and an explanation there is also how long the mission deadline is given for him.
“Hah...dumb shit.” detective Carl then presses the power button and the monitor disappears from there. He just left it too because he thought it was a joke.
He got back in the car and drove home. He was surprised when he was in the car. A timer appears on the dashboard of the car and the mission time starts running.
“What else is this ?” detective Carl doesn't believe what he saw. There was a man sitting in his car.
