Chapter 10: Strange Look

Ariel was surprised to hear Niken's question. He looked excited, thinking whether to answer her question honestly or not.

“The name is Mas Arya,” replied Ariel. In the end he chose to lie, it was impossible to honestly say if the man was a Bravery Wiryawan.

“What is a good man?” ask Niken to make sure.

Ariel nodded slowly with a small smile on her face. "He's very good" he replied.

That morning, Ariel left for college as usual. It's been a few days that Dashing did not come to the apartment, but it did not bother him at all, he was used to it like this, because Dashing will definitely come alone when he has time. Ariel knew her status was only the wife of siri and the second. However, even though this is both himself and Perky, still maintain good communication. As of now, Ariel was staring at the mobile phone, reading a row of messages sent by Gough.

[I'm sorry if I haven't been able to come to the apartment.]

[But rest assured I miss you so much.]

[If all my business is done, I will definitely come soon.]

Unwittingly, both corners of Ariel's lips are pulled upwards creating a small arch in her ay face. He was not aware like an addiction to re-read the message from the Bravery he had answered earlier.

Ariel clasped her phone tightly, that day there was a public lecture that all the students of the first semester had to follow. He also walked towards the room that was used as a venue. The girl stepped lightly, as she reached the building where the public lecture was held.

However, Ariel felt strange the moment she set foot on the floor of that lecture hall. Some of the students looked at him strangely, as if they were about to swallow him round and round.

“What's with them?” Ariel wondered in her heart.

“See what it looks like, plain pretentious but it turns out ..” A student whispered to another student while staring in disdain at Ariel.

“True, it turns out she's a sugar baby,” another whisper.

“Heh, it's sliced."

Ariel stared increasingly with a strange feeling, those who were in that place as if they did not like her at all, even looking down on her. He did not know if the students were consumed by rumors spread by Mika, his friend spread the news if Ariel is a mistress of a rich man who can support his life and college.

“Ariel!”

One voice could be heard calling out the girl's name, making Ariel come to a realization from the strange feeling that was creeping in the heart. He looked up and smiled at his friend Claudia. Claudia is the only friend Ariel has. A cute girl with thick glasses. Claudia's reticent attitude made Ariel feel at ease. He also commented on the smile of seeing Claudia walking, forgetting some students who looked disgusted and despised at her earlier.

“Why not log in?” claudia asked as she looked at Ariel who was still in front of the public lecture class.

Ariel glanced to the right and left, and then answered with a question as well. “Do you think there's anything weird about me? Why are they looking at me like that?”

Claudia looked around, indeed seeing that many were looking strangely at Ariel.

“Entah, I don't know."

“That's it, we're in yuk!” ask Claudia out of fear if she doesn't get a seat.

Ariel nodded, she then walked into the public lecture class hand in hand with Claudia. There are a lot of students waiting for classes to start. Ariel and Claudia were sitting a bit back because the front seat was already fully filled.

All the students were enthusiastic about attending the public lecture, Ariel to the point of wondering who would fill it. Is it a famous influencer? or a motivator?

Ariel did not want to guess, he chose to take out a book and pen, until a few minutes later the girl's eyeballs widened when he saw who was standing on the stage and ready to fill the public lecture.

Turns out her own husband, Perky. The man appeared accompanied by boisterous applause, the eyes of Dashing appear to comb the entire room looking for the existence of Ariel because he knew if his wife sir was definitely following this public lecture. Dashing deliberately did not tell Ariel because he did not want if his wife was uncomfortable.

Ariel was surprised, her mouth gaping but a second later tried to act ordinary, lest Claudia realize if she was surprised to see Bravery. The man had not found where he was sitting because of the large number of students present. The valiant finally chose to fill the class immediately, delivering the materials scheduled for him that day.

Ariel listened intently to the material explanation of the Bravery, her hands busy taking notes, but her eyeballs occasionally glanced towards the Bravery who was talking. She smiled occasionally, although initially surprised but afterwards felt happy also because she could see her husband there.

After nearly half an hour of class, Gaga finally took a break to give students a break. Perky himself also sat down to rest, then pulled out his phone and opened his messaging application.

[Are you taking a class today?] Guts typed a message and sent it to Ariel.

Ariel was chatting with Claudia when the pause was given, until her phone vibrated and a chat came in. Ariel immediately opened the message and read it. He smiled slightly, then asked Claudia's permission to reply to the message first.

[Follow, I see you.] Ariel typed in a message then sent a reply to Gaga.

Ariel glanced at the gallant sitting, while the man was still looking for her whereabouts, making Ariel smile to herself.

[Where are you sitting?] Dashing back to reply to the message, his eyeballs still continue to search for the whereabouts of the girl.

Ariel realized if Gaga had not seen him, then she re-typed a reply message for Gough. He mentioned his sitting position, then sent it.

In Ariel's observation, Gaga had read the message she sent, until Ariel saw Gagah who finally found her existence. The man smiled, until he got a smile back from Ariel.

[I miss you so much, I can finally see your face here. Even so far away, but this can make my sense of longing a little treatable.]

Dashing sends a message that is so romantic, to make Ariel smile herself made.

[I miss you too.]

Ariel replies to the Bravery message, then holds a smile for fear of people looking at her strangely.

Dashing feel flowery get the word miss from Ariel, but this morning also they just said the word longing and love.

"You are really cool, clever and insightful Mas Guts, if only we met in a better way" Ariel murmured inwardly. "I realize our relationship is very difficult to live, especially I just want to use you to destroy Meta Pradana."
