Chapter 45: Keeping a Good Name

Dashing accidentally met his rivals in the election that day, they were in regular meetings to discuss readiness and monitoring the activities of prospective mayors. Perky looks at Faisal, the man who became his rival as well as the one who was alleged to have sent spies to monitor himself and Ariel.

When the formal event was completed, they also chatted with each other to discuss everyday life or lick each other to get support from parliament.

“What does this have to do with me? You think I care if you're spied on,” elak Faisal to cover up his nervousness for being caught monitoring Dashing.

Dashingly smiling cynically, he could already guess if Faisal must have been nervous because of his words.

“Indeed there is none, but unfortunately I got info if the guy knows you. How's this?” Perky noticed Faisal's nervous-looking facial expression.

“It should be a problem like this does not need to come to personal matters. If I want to, I can act to make my opponent's good name destroyed,” whispered Dashing despite the shrill but containing an intimidating tone.

Guts finished his drink, then left Faisal to go to the apartment after the meeting.

“No,” replied Ariel while shaking her head.

Dashing to the relief of knowing Meta did not act brutally to Ariel, he then asked why and what Meta said when he came to see her.

“She asked me to leave Mas Dashing, for fear our relationship spread out. I wonder why Meta is so worried about it, while all this time our relationship is closed. I also did not tell or tell about Mas Gagah to anyone,” said Ariel curious.
