Chapter 19: The Great Ego

The next day, the brave chose to go home. However, still only an anger that always welcomes his arrival, not a warm greeting that can make him want to stay for long.

“Where are you from, huh? Sleep with that cheap lady again!” spray Meta when you see Dashing just entered the room. “Do you think I don't know what you're doing behind my back?” Meta again snapped, speaking in such a high tone of voice.

“Can't you just let me calm down for a minute?” ask Guts while pulling the tie rough. “If you know, then what do you want?”

Meta breathed in his mouth, as if he was mocking her husband for acting innocent, despite being caught cheating behind him. Perky looks so calm, it even makes Meta more furious.

“You've been caught cheating! but not trying to evade or defend themselves. You and that woman both don't know themselves!” matahari snapped, even pulling the arm of Dashing to face him as the man was about to walk into the changing room.

Perky was so furious to hear all the scuffling Meta, not to mention that his wife was very rude. Meta always put ego first and never think of anyone else.

“Then what about you? Was your action yesterday right? Do you think if anyone sees you it won't destroy your own reputation?” Stout against Meta speech. Meta was no less sharp, hoping that the woman could lower her emotions when talking to him.

Meta was very surprised to hear the valiant speech, consciously the man admitted if cheating and last night with the affair, the man, it's possible that the girl he used to know working as a janitor at the parlor had complained to Gaga about her actions yesterday. Meta does not know if Roni was complaining before Ariel told him.

“What did I do wrong, huh? I'm just trying to defend what's rightfully mine! You are my husband, I should be angry if another woman teases you!” Meta tries to defend himself.

Perky grew furious because Meta did not feel the slightest guilt for having persecuted Ariel, even impressed if all the actions he did were right.

“Remember! Remember what I said!” Meta spoke as he pointed at the Dashing face, his gaze revealing a fiery fury.

“If until your affair is spread to the public, then your reputation becomes bad, then I will not stay silent! Note that! I will never stay silent!” threatening Meta with shiny eyes, his face was so cruel, as if he did not realize if the one he was talking to was the husband.

Perky did not think Meta would talk and threaten while pointing at his face, really the man felt his pride was completely dropped by Meta. His wife would never have considered him the husband and head of the family worthy of respect in the house.

As Dashing wanted to return to reply to Meta's threat, the sound of knocking on the room door rang out, his maid even dared to open and appeared to be standing in the doorway with a panicked face. Dashing and Meta looked at their maid with a frown.

“It .. sorry Sir, Mom. Mas Azka hot and convulsive.” The valiant housemaid spoke while pointing towards Azka's room, his face was so panicked and frightened, he even squeezed the apron that was attached to the body.

“What?” Perky and Meta were surprised at the same time.

The two and the maid immediately ran to Azka's room, they saw the boy convulsing on the bed.

“Azka!” yelled Meta frantically as he drew closer to his son's bed with Gaga.

Without a second thought, Dashing immediately carried Azka and walked quickly out of the room. He was so panicked and scared, even his voice calling for Roni to prepare the car sounded so jarring.

“Roni! Prepare car! We're going to the hospital!”

“Ya Sir!” Roni returned the call, then turned on the engine and brought the car to the front porch of the house.

Meta entered first, then Gaga put Azka's body into his wife's lap before then came in and asked Roni to immediately take them to the hospital.

Meta rubbed Azka's face, he could feel her son's skin so hot. Roni himself drove the car at a fairly high speed because he saw the condition of the Azka is not good.

When he arrived at the hospital, Azka immediately got help. The boy was treated for further observation.

Meta sat silently staring at the son, his eyes red and his face wet from crying since taking the child from home to getting medical attention.

Perky himself stands on the opposite side to Meta. He also kept staring at the sleeping Azka, but ignored Meta even though his wife was so sad.

“I'm a bad mother to Azka, I'm sorry because it's been giving her less attention.” Meta suddenly reveals his guilt, breaking the silence that had been created since Azka was moved into the room.

He heaved a heavy sigh, and he felt the same way. It's just that Gagah lacks attention because he is required to do a lot of work.

“We are bad parents for him,” said Meta again, then wipe the tears that drip.

“We are bad because you always dominate.”

Although Gaga feels guilty for lacking attention to Azka, but she is also upset with Meta who has persecuted Ariel. Until he gave the mistake that happened to his wife.

Meta was surprised to hear the valiant remark, he looked at the man with disbelief because it was Dashing as if he wanted to invite him to a fight despite knowing the current condition.

“Do you have to discuss it now? Everything I do is for our family! Don't ask me to fight now!” Meta was upset that Dashing did not calm his feelings that were upset and sad, but instead added to the burden with the man's speech that was clearly cornered.

Dashing smiled slanted and exhaled with his mouth. “For family? It was just for your sake,” muttered Dashing inwardly. He turned his face away because he did not want to see Meta which made him even more upset.

Although they are now both worried about Azka's condition, but Gaga is still upset because Meta has made Ariel hurt. Perky will never forgive Meta for the woman's actions.

Meta chose silence, although it felt like he wanted to get angry but now is not the right time to invite Gough to argue, considering his son is in a bad condition.

Both of them were finally both silent, waiting until Azka realized. There was no closeness or cohesiveness in taking care of the sick child between the two, only silence was created in the room. They still stick with their own egos.
