"Mommy is so beautiful" Damien said in amazement.

Abellard just nodded her head assenting the words of her twin brother speechlessly. Aaric himself was stunned by the appearance of the woman in front of him who was like an angel and it was without any makeup. After escaping the daydream, Aaric cleared his throat briefly to dispel his misdeeds.

"I took it all" said Aaric and immediately went from his seat to the cashier before Adrienne had refused.

Adrienne went back into the dressing room and changed her clothes with the first clothes she came in. After tidying up her appearance, she catches up with Aaric and the twins to the cashier. Arriving at the cashier, Aaric who had completed his payment handed over one bag of groceries to Adrienne.

"Replace your clothes with this" said Aaric softly.

Adrienne nodded then took the bag and stepped towards the changing room. Inside the dressing room, Adrienne took out all the contents and was surprised to see a bottle of perfume was there. He opened the lid of the perfume bottle and a fresh fragrance came out from there. Adrienne loved the fragrance of the perfume. She immediately changed her clothes with Aaric's short, ivory-white knee-length dress and cream-colored teplek shoes with a small ribbon on top. Not to forget he sprayed a little perfume that the man gave him on both sides of his neck.

Adrienne stepped out of the dressing room and then immediately headed for Aaric and the twins who were waiting for her. Again the three of them were stunned by the woman in front of them who looked simple yet very charming. Aaric walked up to Adrienne and placed his face near the woman's neck.

"The wind suits you" said Aaric, then walked away.

Adrienne was stunned for a moment and held her chest because her heart had jumped. The twins who saw their "mommy" fell silent each pulling Adrienne's hands and dragging her to follow the daddy who was already in front. The four of them stopped by to eat at a restaurant before returning home.

While in the restaurant, shortly after they order the food, the, a woman with a sexy appearance and a menor dress up approached their table and sat next to Aaric who happened to be empty because Adrienne chose to sit with the twins.

"Hi handsome. Long time no see," said the woman flirt while leaning her cleavage towards Aaric.

Aaric remained silent and did not touch her and focused his gaze on the twins.

"You know I miss you a lot, especially in bed. Your play is amazing and makes me very satisfied" said the woman again, glancing at Adrienne.

The twins only looked at the scene in front of them and Adrienne who noticed the bad situation tried to prevent the woman from saying more vulgarly in front of the twins.

"I'm sorry, can you speak more subtly? There's a little boy here" Adrienne said politely.

"Who do you dare to set me up?" said the woman was sniffled.

"I just don't like you talking inappropriate in front of small children" Adrienne said sharply.

"Darling, who is he? I don't like her," the woman confronted Aaric while touching his arm.

Aaric remained silent and said nothing. She wanted to know how reliable Adrienne was at protecting her beloved twins. Seeing no response from Aaric instead of making the woman silent but instead getting more and more.

"Darling, why are you with this cheap lady? We better have fun in bed. I really like it when you touch these two of mine," said the woman as she pressed her chest against Aaric's arm.

"If you are more honorable than me, you should be able to keep talking in front of young children who are not yet allowed to hear inappropriate words and will affect their development. But since you can't keep your talk, I guess you're more cheesy than I am. I suggest you get out of here immediately" said Adrienne coldly.

"You." said the woman furiously and raised her hand to slap Adrienne.

The gesture was held back by Aaric and the man brushed off the hand of the woman who was about to touch Adrienne.

Without saying anything, the woman left while stomping her feet in annoyance.

"Sorry" said Adrienne.

"I must apologize and thank you" Aaric said in a soft baritone voice.

"Thank you?" adrienne asked not to understand.

"Thank you for keeping Abellard and Damien out of bad influence and sorry for not stopping him earlier."

"I know you're testing me, right?"

"You know where it came from?"

"My parents used to test my nannies like that too."

The sentence made Adrienne think of her parents and made her eyes teary. He misses both his parents very much. The twins were confused to see Adrienne sad.

"Mom, did Dad make you sad?" ask Abellard.

"Or did we make Mom sad?" ask Damien.

"Ah no. Dad was very good to Mom. Mom only remembered both of Mom's parents," Adrienne replied as she stroked the two children's fine hair.

"Mom don't be sad anymore. We promise to be a good boy" Abellard solemnly followed by a nod to her twin brother.

"Yes. Mom promised not to be sad anymore" Adrienne said with a smile.

Aaric who saw Adrienne's closeness with his two favorite nephews only smiled faintly. He already knew the two children were just like his half-sister, Savannah, who was good at judging people. They can only be close to the people they sincerely value on them and Adrienne is the third person outside her family to be accepted by both the twins after Nikolai and Sasha. Even his two best friends, Bellagio and Baldovino, have not received that privilege.

Before long, the food they ordered came and they ate in silence. Adrienne while eating while wiping the mouth of the twins who were splattered. The three of them looked like mother and son. After eating, Aaric called Nikolai to come and pick the twins home. Adrienne looked at Aaric cluelessly while the man ignored Adrienne's gaze and squatted down in front of the twins to align his height.

"Figured. Damien's. Dad still has business with Mom. You go home first with Om Niko yes," said Aaric gently as he rubbed the twins' heads with both hands.

The twins nodded and before long Nikolai appeared before the four of them. Abellard and Damien immediately took Nikolai's hands ready to leave but were held by Adrienne.

"You can't be naughty. Listen to Uncle Niko and Aunty Anna. Otherwise, Mom will be angry. Okay?" adrienne's message to the two boys.

The twins just nodded and left with Nikolai without forgetting to wave at Adrienne, of course, replied also by the woman. After Nikolai and the twins disappeared, Aaric clasped Adrienne's hand and took her somewhere.

"Where are we going?" adrienne's question was answered by Aaric without a sound.
