"alright. I trust. Now give me the money" said the man, not knowing himself.

Aaric only chuckled disdainfully and then moved to his desk. He took out a checkbook and wrote down a nominal that exceeded what Adrienne had told him earlier and tore the check sheet off. He walked over to the man and handed him the check.

"Dilute today too if you want to get your money and never show up in front of me or my woman again" Aaric said dismissively.

The man could only stare at Aaric furiously without being able to say anything and snatch the check violently and leave with his men. After they left, Aaric returned to his desk and continued his work.

"Thank you, Aaric" said Adrienne sincerely.

"Remember you still owe me and you'll work for me until your debt is paid off. Also forget the kiss because it was just a charade" Aaric said without turning his eyes away from the file before him.

"Good."

"It's noon. Now you're getting ready to pick up the twins" Aaric ordered.

"good. Excuse me," said Adrienne obediently.

Adrienne exited the room, nodded politely at Savannah and walked towards the elevator. While waiting for the elevator, Adrienne touched her lips which Aaric kissed. His heart skipped a beat because it was his first kiss and it didn't last long when he heard the whispering noises behind him.

"That's Mr Aaric's new toy?" whispered woman one.

"Don't know but it looks like it is," replied the woman of two.

"But it's not that Mr. Aaric's taste goes down that he chooses a woman like her?" said woman one.

"Yes, yes, too. All classy Mr. Aaric's toys. There are flight attendants and even models, but this one looks low," said the woman two.

"Bodo is great. At least soon it will be discarded if he is bored," said the woman one.

Adrienne who heard the words of the two women was certainly hurt but what power he was tied to Aaric until the debt paid off. As soon as the elevator arrived, Adrienne went straight in and immediately closed the elevator door.

"Let them say what is the origin of my debt paid off and I can start a new life later" Adrienne said in her heart.

After the elevator reached the parking lot, Aaric's favorite car was parked in front of the exit with Nikolai already sitting sweetly in it. Adrienne got into the car and drove to the school.

Arriving at school, it turns out that the lessons are ongoing and will end in about half an hour. Adrienne walked towards the twins' classroom after asking the supervisor outside. Abellard and Damien turned out to be quite popular because they were the only pair of twins at the school. After making sure the twins were still in class, Adrienne sat in the group area of socialite mothers who were also waiting for their children to leave the class. One of the socialite mothers named Sabrina greeted Adrienne.

"Hello. My name is Sabrina. Who are you waiting for?" asked Sabrina politely.

"The twins are Abellard and Damien" Adrienne replied.

Sabrina's face immediately turned curious to hear the names of the two children in question. At one time the father of the twins was never close to any woman let alone ask a woman to pick up her two favorite children. Sabrina was curious about the identity of the woman beside her because she was after Aaric.

"I'm sorry if I know whose name you are?" ask Sabrina.

"Adrienne. Adrienne Laurent's. Just call Anne," said Adrienne fluently.

"Laurent? You're Aaric's wife?" ask Sabrina again.

Adrienne just nodded without answering and right at that moment the bell with children's music playing signifies the children will be out of class. Adrienne immediately said goodbye and passed looking for the twins accompanied by an envious look from Sabrina.

"How was your day, honey? What's fun?" ask Adrienne softly.

The twins told a long story and were all heard clearly by Sabrina who was holding a daughter. In a fit of annoyance Sabrina passed by while stomping her feet. The twins are still telling me about the day while Adrienne is aware of Sabrina's changing behavior.

"He must be after Aaric, just like Beatrix and not like me. Am I gonna be okay, okay?" adrienne murmurs in the heart.

After listening to the twins, Adrienne takes them home and during the trip, the twins do not stop chattering. Adrienne smiled softly accompanied by a look of disbelief Nikolai. As Nikolai knows, the twins never chatted this seriously on any nanny but now they are very happy with the presence of Adrienne who was out of nowhere.

Arriving at the parking lot of Aaric's office, the twins ran straight to the elevator but were stopped by Adrienne's orders.

"Abellards. Damien's. Don't dally. The road is slow," Adrienne ordered.

The twins followed and slowed down their path. Again Nikolai was made to not believe what he saw, the twins easily obeyed Adrienne's orders. Even the twins' last caregiver, who lasted four days, was made to fall by the twins for banning them from running.

Ting.

The elevator doors opened and the twins walked straight into Aaric's room. While passing through Savannah's desk, the twins passed by without saying hello.

"Abellards. Damien's. Say hello to Aunt Savannah. You have to be polite if you meet people you know, especially your family and relatives" Adrienne said.

"Good day, aunt," said the twins, following Adrienne's orders.

Savannah who heard that was also shocked because the twins had never greeted her if she passed her workplace. He looked at Nikolai and the one he was looking at only put his shoulders down. Adrienne and the twins first entered Aaric's room while Nikolai stopped at Savannah's desk.

"Women are great. The twins are very obedient to him" said Nikolai.

"Yes. I was also surprised that the twins obeyed the words of Anne when all they had been doing was a sister," Savannah said.

Finished chatting for a while with Savannah, Nikolai entered Aaric's room and the twins were already sitting sweetly with the task in front of them. Aaric signaled for Nikolai to approach while Adrienne was busy monitoring and teaching the twins.

"How, Niko? Did the twins act today?" whispered Aaric.

"No boss. They were very obedient to the woman's words. I've never seen twins like that" Nikolai replied in a whisper as well.

"Goodoo. At least I didn't have to bother looking for a new nanny" Aaric said.

Two hours spent Adrienne monitoring and teaching the twins until they were done. The three stretch their bodies and the twins whine to go to the mall on Aaric.

"Dad, we want to take a walk to the mall" Abellard said.

"Later after Dad's work is done huh. You guys play first" said Aaric, busy with his files.

"But we want it now" whined Damien.

Aaric looked focused and did not answer Damien's whimper. Adrienne, who knows that Aaric is busy, asks the twins not to bother first.

"Abellards. Damien's. Dad is busy. You guys don't bother him just yet" said Adrienne.
