Knowing they were still being followed made the woman who had been helped by Aaric even more trembling. Aaric asks Savannah to look after the woman and asks Nikolai to stop the car.

After the car stopped, Aaric took off his black suit, tie and two buttons and asked Bellagio and Nikolai to get out of the car with him.

The humans who followed them in the back also got out of their cars. The faces of the humans were fierce and sinister, as if ready to pounce on anything that was in the way. Aaric was already standing gallantly in the middle accompanied by Nikolai on his right and Bellagio on his left.

"What is your business with that woman?" asked Aaric coldly.

"Surge. That woman belongs to our boss. We'll bring him back" said one of them.

"I'm sorry that woman is mine. You can't take it" said Aaric casually.

The ferocious people looked at it for a moment and immediately attacked the three men. Aaric was attacked by the person who answered his question with the wood and the wood was captured precisely by Aaric's palm. The man got the raw bogem reward from Aaric in his stomach and fell down.

The somewhat careless Bellagio got a punch on his left cheek and was countered by it with a punch to the left cheek of the one who attacked him, causing the person to bounce to the right and faint. Nikolai was attacked by a man with a knife but with a swift wrist the man was captured by Nikolai and rewarded with an uppercut by the man on the chin of the man who wanted to hurt him. The three men fought in their own styles and looked cool in the eyes of Savannah and the woman Aaric helped.

"Stop. Forgive me," cried the man who had been beaten by Aaric.

"Tell me what you want" Aaric charged in a piercing tone.

"We just want to collect the debt from the woman."

Aaric pulled out his wallet from the back pocket of his pants followed by a business card and threw it at the man.

"Tomorrow come to my office and take your money."

After saying that, Aaric and his companions Bellagio and Nikolai got into the car and continued on their way. While in the car, Aaric just stood still and cupped his arms in the face. His head rested on the cushion of the chair he was sitting on.

Arriving at home, Aaric was greeted by Abellard and Damien who immediately ran and hugged his feet.

"Dad," cried the two children excited.

"It turns out he already has a child" said the woman Aaric helped in his heart.

Aaric crouched down and kissed the two boys on the forehead and then got up and told Savannah to take care of the woman and took the twins in. One of the children, Damien, took off his grasp and ran to the woman Aaric helped.

"Aunty, can I do aunt's hair?" damien asked with his puppy eyes.

Savannah squatted her height to Damien and stroked the top of the boy's head.

"Damien, this aunt is sick. Tomorrow if this aunt recovers, Damien asks for permission again. You go with Dad there."

Damien nodded happily then clasped Aaric's hand again and walked into the house.

"Happy family" said the woman in her heart with teary eyes.

Savannah got up again and hugged and led the woman into the house and into her room. All that did not escape the eyes of Nikolai who continued to observe Savannah.

"Review your eyes out later," Bellagio joked to Nikolai and went inside with a murderous look from the man.

"Aaric, have you gone home, son?" exclaims a middle-aged woman.

"Yes Ma. Aaric's home."

"He's in the room, taking care of the woman."

"Which woman?" ask the middle-aged woman who turns out to be Annette, her stepmother.

Aaric recounts the chronology of events before reaching home and is listened to carefully by Annette. Although Annette was her stepmother, Aaric and Maria considered her mother and respected her as their own.

Bellagio and Nikolai lay themselves on a soft sofa in Laurent's living room. They just quietly listened to Aaric's explanation to Annette while looking at the man playing with the twins.

Not long after, Savannah came out of her room dressed in a nightgown and had her hair smashed up and sat by the side in Annette.

"Anna, how's that woman doing?" ask Aaric.

"He's asleep. He looked exhausted and there were some bruises on his body. I don't know what he's been through" Savannah replied honestly.

As Savannah and Aaric chatted, Nikolai's eyes could not escape the woman's small movements. Savannah's appearance is very beautiful and sweet regardless of what she wears. She wants to have Savannah but she knows herself and holds back her wishes. He knew he was only Aaric's bodyguard despite being the same age as the man. He replaced his father's position of service to the head of the Laurent family and that was his desire since childhood. He also learns of the tragic history of the Laurent family that made Savannah and Aaric stepbrothers.

"Hey man's. If you keep quiet, your lady may be taken by your own boss" whispered Bellagio who had been sitting next to Nikolai.

"Be quiet" said Nikolai coldly and giving Bellagio a murderous look.

"What are you talking about there?" aaric's words made the two men turn towards the sound.

"I'm teasing him, Rick. He is so much fun to tease" Bellagio said with a laugh while the seduced still maintained his murderous gaze.

"Dadies. Already have. Y'all rest. We still have a lot of work tomorrow" said Aaric, shaking his hand and asking them to leave.

Nikolai got up and bowed and passed towards the small house in the back garden. The house was built by Nikolai himself from his hard work keeping Aaric and now a permanent residence for him. Aaric himself had never again set foot into the back garden since the death of his parents because the park was his mother's favorite garden. He still could not set foot there.

Bellagio himself decided to go home because he thought the wife was waiting to be touched.

"Basic bawdy," said Aaric as the Bellagio breezed out of the house.

After Bellagio left and Nikolai returned to his home, Aaric, Savannah and Annette and the twins were in the living room.

"Sister, what about that woman?" ask Savannah.

"Ma, can you take Abel and Damien to the room first?" pinta Aaric's.

Annette nodded and took the twins to the room until Aaric and Savannah were both left.

"I don't know what I'm gonna do to her yet, Anna. What do you think he's the guy?" ask Aaric.

He always relied on Savannah's instinct to judge character because rarely did his stepbrother's judgment miss.

"I think he's a good guy just like he keeps a lot of secrets" Savannah replied honestly.

"alright. Let's take a break tonight. Tomorrow we'll think about the next step" said Aaric, ruffling Savannah's hair and kissing her forehead.

Those small movements were caught by the pair of eyes that had been watching them.
