"I've been investigating Miss Dupont's whereabouts for five years but have found no information. My guess is he didn't use his real name until now" Nikolai said.
"intriguing. He told me that he was in debt because he ran away from his aunt's uncle without preparation. I don't think for the sake of being found, he doesn't want to use his real name" Aaric concluded.
"Oh yeah one more Rick. Ronald and Cecil haven't stopped looking for Miss Dupont in five years. Their families are also often visited by men in black suits with large bodies. After I investigated, they were the henchmen of the Fournier family" Nikolai added.
"Oh yeah? I think Adrienne's family owes the Fourniers a debt, but is there anything to do with her disappearance over the past five years? Niko, try to investigate more deeply between the debt of the Adrienne family and also the family of the curse," said Aaric then throw and step on the cigarette butts.
Nikolai nodded and left Aaric alone in the garden. Aaric himself was silent looking at the dark starry sky accompanied by a gust of night wind. Before long, Aaric got out of his place and returned to the twins' room. He saw Adrienne's sleeping position was still the same as before which signified the woman had not changed position at all. Slowly, Aaric opened the closet in the room and pulled out a pillow and blanket. Carefully he slipped the pillow in place of the woman's hand so that the woman was more comfortable and then attached the blanket to the frail body.
Aaric sat next to Adrienne and pulled out his phone and changed his mode to silence so that no one would be bothered if anyone contacted him. He placed the phone on the table with the suit and tie he had released, leaving white allotments and material pants adhering to his body. His body felt very tired and wanted to rest then glanced at the figure sleeping beside him.
"Who are you, Adrienne Dupont?" murmured Aaric in the heart.
He decided to make Adrienne's thighs covered in blankets as his pillow. He lay down and looked for a comfortable position facing the twins then slowly his gaze darkened.
Early in the morning around three, Adrienne woke up wanting to go to the toilet. He was surprised by her already covered state and there was a pillow in place of her hand support plus Aaric who fell asleep on her quilted thigh. Slowly she took herself out of the blanket and replaced her thigh with a pillow then enveloped the man. With a slow step he went to the toilet to finish what he wanted to do.
Upon returning from the toilet, he was again startled by Aaric who was up and sitting down casually.
"Where are you?" asked Aaric coldly.
"From the toilet" answered Adrienne.
"Sit down" said Aaric.
Adrienne complied and sat to the left of the man after sliding the pillow he had used to replace his thigh. Suddenly Aaric's head rested on Adrienne's right shoulder and regular breathing was clearly heard in the woman's ears. The man fell asleep again.
"Did she have trouble sleeping until she was unconscious like this?" ask Adrienne inwardly.
Being still sleepy, Adrienne did not want to think about it and closed her eyes after enveloping Aaric and herself. It seemed that not long before she fell asleep, Adrienne's hearing was somewhat disturbed by whispers that felt not far from her. He opened his eyes and was surprised to see the look of a face with his eyes closed in front of him.
Adrienne again looked at her sleeping position and it turns out that the sleeping position that initially sat became lying down plus her body was in the arms of a man whose face was right in front of her. Slowly, the man's eyes opened and gnawed and then immediately smiled obliquely.
"Morning" said Aaric without the slightest surprise.
Adrienne immediately got up from her position and sat back to Aaric. Adrienne's eyes were pounded on two small children who were looking at her giggling. To cover up her awkwardness, she turned her attention to the twins who seemed to be well.
"Had Mom. Sorry we worried Mom," Abellard said.
"Thank God you're all right" Adrienne breathed a sigh of relief while stroking the backs of the two children affectionately.
That morning, Adrienne was busy with her activities taking care of the twins as usual. The difference this time is not taking care of school needs but feeding the two children alternately. For some reason since falling ill, the twins have become very spoiled for Adrienne. Nikolai, Savannah, and Annette, to coincide with Adrienne's feeding of the twins. Adrienne asks the twins to take medicine while Aaric is busy giving orders to Nikolai and Savannah.
"Anna, you're here looking after Abel and Damien with mom. Niko, you go to the office to take care of all my work. Anne, you're coming with me to school" Aaric ordered.
Nikolai nodded and passed from the room. Annette was busy with the twins. After saying goodbye, Aaric and Adrienne walked out of the room to the parking lot. On the way to the parking lot, Adrienne saw Bellatrix from a distance and immediately stopped her steps. A moment later, he hid himself behind Aaric's sturdy body while gripping the man's suit. Without turning his head, Aaric asked Adrienne.
"What's wrong?"
"I saw my cousin walking here. I don't want to meet him. Help me," said Adrienne with trembling hands.
Aaric who understood was looking for a way to keep Adrienne from meeting the woman who was walking towards him. Aaric pulled Adrienne's hand so that she would be on her right and then put Adrienne's left arm on her right. He also asked Adrienne to lower her head so that Adrienne's long hair covered her face and walk as if there was nothing. They both passed the woman without any incident. Adrienne breathed a sigh of relief because she thought it was safe, but the woman who had passed her suddenly stopped and turned her head.
"Anne," called the woman out loud.
Adrienne's body stiffened instantly hearing her name being called. His hand on Aaric slipped off and his steps came to a standstill with the woman standing before Adrienne. Quickly, Aaric poked his right hand against Adrienne's waist and pulled her closer.
"Anne, we've been separated for a long time. Looks like you're fine," said the woman while glancing in admiration at Aaric.
"Hello Trix," said Adrienne stiffly.
"You didn't introduce this man to me?" bellatrix said without turning her adoring gaze away from Aaric.
"This is Aaric. Aaric, this is Bellatrix, my cousin," Adrienne said without any gesture.
"I introduce Bellatrix, commonly called Trix," Bellatrix said.
"Aaric," said Aaric, welcoming the hand for a moment and releasing it again.
"What is your relationship with this man, Anne? Is he the guy who paid you?" bellatrix asked scoffed.
