The Enchantment of the Primadona

The Enchantment of the Primadona
PSP 41: Lying to Aditya

The cold of the night began to stab Dona's body sitting in the back seat of Aditya's motorbike. His hands were getting tighter hugging Aditya's waist. Opa Herbowo's face continues to be imagined in Dona's mind. The drizzle suddenly descended, making the weather feel so cold that it pierced into the bone. Aditya motorbike pulled over right in front of a Korean-style restaurant.

"Why stop here?" Ask Dona.

"Germist Don. You don't feel what cold. Your hair is also getting wet. You haven't eaten either, have you? Come in yuk, neduh all dinner too." Aditya answered, pulling Dona's hand into the restaurant after removing her helmet.

"I'm not a laper."

"How do you try? Your people haven't eaten since."

'Know where he is I haven't eaten yet?'

"Don't think much. You will be busy with Ayu from morning, surely you forgot to eat. Part of your face, it looks like you're starving."

Dona was finally able to smile after hearing Aditya's words.

"You know best about me."

Aditya smiled and shifted the chair to allow Dona to sit down. The two sat facing. The exterior and interior of the restaurant are very distinctive with colorful walls. There are also small colorful chairs that make the atmosphere more alive.

Aditya started looking at the menu on the table. Not long for the waiter to come.

"Have you made your choice?" Ask the polite waiter.

"Kimchi, kimbap, tteokbokki, jjajangmyeon, ramyeon, and bulgogi."

Dona stared at Aditya.

"A lot of Dit."

Aditya just smiled.

"Drink?" Ask the waiter again.

"Mineral water 2 bottles and mango juice also 2."

The waiter nodded then left Dona and Aditya's table.

"Well, what's that kind of message?" Dona pats Aditya's hand.

"Yes to eat, time to waste."

"Isn't that Dit, can you run out?"

"Son, there's you. Don't you like Korean food the most?" Ask Aditya relax.

"Where are you from?"

"Know that. I told you, I know how you are."

"Yes, yes." Dona folded her arms around her chest while leaning back in her chair.

Not so long Aditya's order came. The table before them was full of food. Dona who saw there was so much food in front of him could only turn the eyeball lazily.

'Can it be finished?' thought Dona.

"Why bengong? Let's eat. I'm sure everything will run out. You must be hooked." Aditya.

The first food she tried was kimchi. Foods that are vegetables fermented with special seasonings produce a spicy and sour taste on the tongue of Dona. Dona who really likes spicy food, was so amazed by the taste of kimchi new in the chew.

"Where? Yummy, right?"

Dona just nodded, then tried the next menu, kimbap. The food is similar to sushi. While Aditya tries tteokbokki, with the occasional feeding of Dona. Dona, who was not sure the food in front of her was too much, ended up thinking too little.

"I don't like jjajangmyeon, it looks creepy. You are yes. I'll choose ramyeon." Dona's words were interspersed with giggles.

Aditya laughed while taking a bowl containing jjajangmyeon. The menu is made of noodles mixed with black soy sauce and there are cuts of meat and vegetables.

"Although the appearance is a bit creepy because of the color, but it feels very pampering the tongue, you know. Don't you want to try?" Ask Aditya.

"No." Dona shook her head loudly, making Aditya laugh.

The last menu they eat is bulgogi, in the form of beef sliced thinly with spices in the form of soy sauce, sugar, and other spices.

"Weird yeah, we eat the meat last." Aditya.

The food on the table were both finally toilet, leaving only bowls and plates. Dona held onto her stomach which felt so full.

"Responsibility Dit. My diet failed because of you."

Aditya laughed again, he felt so happy to see Dona who did not look anxious anymore. While chatting, Dona's phone rang and displayed Gilang's name on her screen. Dona's once bright face, now back grim. Seeing the name Gilang on the mobile phone screen, made him think back to Opa Herbowo. Aditya, who noticed the change in Dona's face, immediately held Dona's hand on the table.

"What's wrong?" Ask Aditya.

Dona just shook her head, she let her phone continue to vibrate.

"Who? Why not lift?"

"Said." Dona replied briefly.

Dona deactivated her phone and put it in her bag. Then he took mineral water on the table and drank it until leaving half a bottle. Aditya just kept looking at Dona. Dona let out a long sigh then sat back down leaning back in her chair.

"Now it's the same with me. What exactly is it with you?" Ask Aditya.

"Hmm." Dona looked at Aditya confusedly. "I'm okay."

"It's okay how it is. Since meeting Opa nya Gilang you immediately changed. From a good house. After meeting Opa Herbowo you really are like a frightened person. You pretended not to feel well. What's okay trying."

Dona took a long breath again. He tries to find a reason to answer Aditya's question. He knows that Aditya will not be silent until Dona gives an answer.

"Don, if you have a problem, you can tell me the same story."

Dona fixed her sitting position then looked at Aditya sharply.

"You remember what Ola Herbowo said last time before I took you home?"

Aditya seemed to think and remember what Opa Herbowo said last time.

"Hmmmm if I'm not mistaken, he said in the past he had known a woman by the name of Dona as well."

"That's the problem. Do you remember the tomb that I visited with you often if you want to go to the tomb of your parents?"

"Remember." Aditya replied briefly. "Aahh, the tomb is called Dona too, right?" Ask Aditya after realizing that.

Dona nodded. "The Dona that Opa Herbowo is referring to, is Dona whose tomb I often visit."

Aditya seemed to be in disbelief at what Dona said.

"Are you serious?"

Dona just nodded.

"The world is narrow. Mmmmm, how does Opa Herbowo know your aunt?"

Dona once said that her grave in her former life was the brother of Dona's parents.

"Opa Herbowo ever wanted to marry my aunt. The distance of their age that was adrift twenty years more, made Aunt I do not want to. Moreover, the marriage was actually made to pay off the debt from my Aunt's father." Dona tries to lie to Aditya and hopes that Aditya will believe her. "Tante ran away from home and was pursued by Opa Herbowo's men until Aunt had a tragic accident that left him dead." Dona.

Aditya seemed to think, he tried to digest every word Dona.

"I can't believe that Opa Herbowo can do that."

"So you mean I lied to you?" Dona's getting upset.

"I don't mean Don."

"Keep...."

"From what I've known since childhood, Opa Herbowo was a kind and generous person. There has never been a case about him that has been reported by the media. He was even often reported because he often did social activities to help people in need. So...."

"Dit, sometimes what is seen in cyberspace is not like the reality. Opa Herbowo can look good and perfect in front of the media camera. But who knows what his true nature is. And the truth is, for me he's an old man with a runny nose."

Aditya fell silent, he no longer wanted to reply to Dona's words. He did not want to argue just because it sounded like defending the figure of Opa Herbowo who was not known directly, but only through the media. However, one thing Aditya knows is, Opa Herbowo is indeed known as an excellent businessman, generous and compassionate. Even until his old age, he did not remarry since the abandonment of the wife who died from uterine cancer suffered.

'I don't know what's wrong and what's right. I can only hope that you will find out the truth Don.' Aditya said in his heart.

Seriate....
