PSP 56: Pregnant

Since that heartbreaking incident, Dona has slightly changed into a more private person. He no longer went out of the house. Even invited out for a walk or just lunch by Aditya, Dona refused and chose to go home.

Although the relationship continues as usual with Aditya, but Dona like to keep her distance. Gilang who keeps trying to contact him is always ignored. The short message Gilang sent made Dona think.

Gilang always asks if there is a sign of her being pregnant or not. And all that's in Dona's mind is, hopefully, she's not pregnant.

However, a month has passed since the sad event that made Dona lose her crown and Dona never visit also get her monthly guests. Dona became so afraid, she became more often confined in the room. Repeatedly he tried to check the calendar where he always marked the date he got a monthly guest.

"How's this? Am I really pregnant?" Dona asked herself who was standing in front of the mirror.

Dona saw his body shape which was somewhat more contained than before. Dona's appetite is diminishing. And these days, Dona feels her chest is heavier and more sensitive.

Dona held her flat stomach. The feeling of worry grew more and more in his heart.

As she thought, Dona's phone rang. A number that was accidentally not saved by Dona calling. Gilang's mobile number. Although reluctant, Dona would not answer the phone call from Gilang.

"Where are you?" Ask Gilang without further ado.

"At home." Dona replied briefly.

"Let's go to the hospital."

"Well?"

"Yes check your pregnancy."

"I'm not pregnant." Peek Dona.

"Ooh, I thought you were pregnant. You see today is exactly 1 month after our actions."

Dona cursed annoyed, he was about to disconnect the phone call.

"Otherwise?" Again Dona shouted.

"Have you come to the moon?"

"Why are you asking such personal questions?"

"Yes, I just want to make sure that you're pregnant with my son or not."

"I told you, I'm not pregnant."

"Who knows. Oh yeah, if you change your mind about going to the hospital. Call me, I can take you to a hospital that can check your condition. Dona glanced at her cell phone lying on the bed. The phone screen shows Aditya's name. Dona's heart was sliced, her tears just fell. With a chaotic feeling, he answered Aditya's phone call.

"Bag darling. I'm taking ya today to college."

Dona did not answer, which sounded just a joke.

"Hello....."

Again, Dona did not answer. His crying voice was getting clearer and clearer heard by Aditya. Makes the man anxious.

"Darling, what's wrong with you?"

Dona's getting sobbing.

"Darling, wait for me there. Ten minutes to go."

Dona let out a long sigh as the phone connection closed.

As fast as Dona's lightning is preparing, he hopes Gilang's driver actually comes faster compared to Aditya. If Aditya comes, he doesn't know what to explain to him. And sure enough, it only took 5 minutes, a car stopped right in front of the gate of Dona's house. Dona quickly gets into the car and wishes Aditya hadn't arrived and instead sees him off.

Ten minutes after Dona left, Aditya arrived on his bike. However, he found the store in front of Dona's house was not yet open. Even the door of Dona's house was tightly shut, and the gate was padlocked.

"Where is the body?"

Aditya picks up the phone in his pants pocket and attempts to contact Dona, but it doesn't work because Dona's number is off.

Aditya then goes and decides to go to campus and hopes that Dona has gone to campus first without waiting for an invitation from him.

In the hospital....

Dona was already in the doctor's room, sitting side by side with Gilang who kept staring at her.

"Dok, please check on my wife. She seems to be pregnant because it's too late for the moon." Silang.

Dona looked towards Gilang with a glare.

"good. How long have you been married?" The doctor asked, and started filling out Dona's data.

"3 months." Answer Gilang.

"Ah, newlyweds. Still the angling."

Gilang held Dona's hand and kissed her, as if to show the Doctor that they were indeed a newly married couple.

"Bu Dona comes his last month when?"

"Date 5 months ago Doc." Answer Dona.

Dona then got up and headed for the restroom that was indeed available in the examination room. After Dona entered, Gilang and the Doctor looked at each other and smiled.

Shortly after, Dona came out of the restroom and placed the container containing urine in the place that has been provided. The doctor wakes up from his seat and is seen taking a pregnancy test kit from the closet and dipping it into Dona's urine.

After 3 minutes, the doctor brought Dona's urine test results and showed them to Dona and Gilang.

"Congratulations." The Doctor brief.

Dona pensive.

"Do you mean my wife is pregnant?" Ask Gilang make sure.

"Yes pregnant. Her pregnancy has just entered 5 weeks. Estimates of childbirth can be seen in this book later."

Dona's tears flowed, Gilang immediately wiped Dona's tears.

"Don't cry baby. I know you're happy too. I love you." Said Gilang while kissing the head of Dona.

"For further examination. Come back later on this date. Let it be able to do ultrasound when the fetus is already visible. Because if now the fetus is not visible."

Without saying anything, Dona walked out of the Doctor's room with tears in her eyes. Gilang shook the hand of the smiling doctor.

"good job. The next month, you know for yourself what to do." Say Cross while thrusting an envelope of brown color.

"Thank you." Reply to the Doctor.

Gilang then came out of the doctor's room with a pink book, which is a book of pregnant women and find where Dona is.

"Dona where the hell is it? Why did she disappear so fast."

Gilang's phone rang, the driver told him that Dona was seen sitting and crying in the hospital garden. Gilang soon followed him. He found Dona crying with both palms covering her face.

Gilang sat down next to Dona and let her cry.

"Married to me. I'll take responsibility for what happened."

Dona fell silent.

"Don't tell me you want to drop it. I have the right to ban you because this is also my son."

Dona did not answer anything, her shoulders were seen rising and falling due to sobbing.

Dona did not touch Gilang's words and threw Gilang's hand and walked away.

"Let my driver drive you." Shouted Gilang.

Arriving on campus, Dona was always pensive. As the course progressed, he was more silent. Unlike usual who was always enthusiastic, this time he was really not excited. Even until the class was over, he had not left the class. He sat quietly with his empty look.

Aditya who just came out of class glanced into Dona's class and he was surprised to find Dona sitting alone. He walked up to Dona and patted her on the shoulder.

"Darling...."

Hearing Aditya's voice, Dona reflexively dodged and immediately stood away from him.

"You why? I see a ghost." Aditya smiled. "Shocked huh? Sorry." Aditya looked at Dona intently. "What exactly are you? Lately you often avoid even disappearing.
