Chapter 40. Compete in a healthy way

Reigha did not actually go home but instead stopped his car in a parking lot close to the expressway leading to the capital. After the car stopped, Reigha took out the phone from his pants pocket and contacted someone to meet him.

Tut's. Tut's. Tut's.

Right on the third ring, his call was answered from across there.

'Hello?'

"Meet me in the memory lane now. We have to compete healthily" Reigha said straight to the point.

"Since when have you approached Nala?" reigha asked directly at the point.

Dandy smiled and it looked so annoying in Reigha's sight.

"About three years ago," answered Dandy without a burden.

Reigha's getting his jaw stiffened. "You've betrayed our friendship" furious Reigha with a nose that had flared with anger.

Dandy. "I did not betray. All is fair in war and love. I have never betrayed you because Nala currently belongs to no one. Not mine let alone yours," Dandy replied casually with his arms folded in front of his chest.

Reigha gave a rough sigh. Dandy's words were not wrong. Nala is currently a single woman who is a widow because of her.

"But, don't you already know if I'm still expecting Nala?" reigha asked, not accepting.

Dandy nodded his head in understanding. "I knew. But I also have the right to go forward, right? So, whatever Nala's decision will be, we should be able to accept. Whether it's with one of us or ... Choosing to live with another man is more everything" replied Dandy who made Reigha silent.

Dandy laughed softly. "Why silence? Isn't my speech right? Let Nala choose what she wants without the need for us to interfere and impose our will" Dandy continued.

And from that meeting, Reigha became aware of one thing. That is, Dandy's love is so sincere to Nala. There is no obsession in it because Dandy never forced Nala. Something like that Dandy could have done. Especially when Nala was in a time of emptiness.

Elsewhere, Nala sat pensively thinking about Dandy's words this afternoon which disturbed her mind.

Nala looked at Zia who was so cool playing a long-haired Barbie in a very beautiful dress. "Good right, Mom? This is Zia choose her own loh," said Zia enthusiastically while showing her new toy.

Nala smiled and then nodded. "That's great. Zia likes?" asked Nala while stroking Zia's hair gently.

His daughter was enthusiastic. "Daddy was very attentive to us. Zia loves Daddy," said Zia sincerely.

Nala smiled softly at Zia's words. "Yes, you have to be affectionate with your Daddy" replied Nala.

"If Mommy, baby isn't with Daddy?" ask Zia who made Nala silent a thousand languages. Before Nala answered with a lie, Zio was lucky to have a voice and it managed to distract Zia.

"I love Daddy too. Next time I want Daddy to take us out to the mall. I want to ask for more toys" said Zio as he held up the robot toy he had just bought.

"I want dong too. We have to invite Daddy again to buy toys," said Zia enthusiastically.

Nala smiled in relief for having escaped the question in Zia that so trapped her.

"It has. Most importantly, you should go to bed first, right?" soft Nala pinta.

"Alright, Mom," Zia and Zio answered almost simultaneously.

"Come, you're lying on Mommy's side" pinta Nala who is currently lying in the middle of the bed. Zia and Zio immediately shouted happily.

"Horay!" "Yeah!"

"Random stories about legends in the land of Java huh, Mom? I want to hear other stories as well" said Zio who is currently lying next to Nala with his head resting on Nala's arm.

"Yes, I want to, Mom, too" said Zia not to lose.

"alright. Mommy will tell you," replied Nala in the end who made her two children begin to close their eyes with a sincere smile engraved.

Finally, Nala told the legend of Raden Kian Santang to her children. It didn't take long, Zia and Zio finally fell asleep. Nala kissed her two children with love.

There is a sense of heartlessness when seeing two children grow up without the affection of a father. But Nala promises to be a mother and father for both. Nala will make sure that Zia and Zio will not lack affection.

Nala looked at the faces of her two children who were now so peaceful. Nala's eyes glazed over when she remembered her mistake that had always been an annoyance to Zia and Zio.
