Chapter 79. Pledged

The day Dandy died finally arrived. Ms. Dian held a prayer event for her son. Nala just came alone to Dian's mom's house. While the twins, both are treated by Bu Laras.

Nala deliberately did not invite Zia and Zio because this event was not for children to attend. If both come along, there will be many questions asked.

The event will be held later tonight after Maghrib prayer. So, at exactly three in the afternoon, Nala first came to the elite cemetery where Dandy was buried.

His heart trembled as his feet began to tread the ground overgrown by Japanese grass. Many gravestones that Nala passed and either headstone that I know, Nala finally found the name Dandy complete with a photo of the man.

Nala crouches in front of Dandy's grave. Nala thought, she had started sincere about the departure of Dandy. However, when faced with her tomb, Nala could no longer hold back tears.

The beautiful memories that Nala had been through with Dandy seemed to spin in the head. So much so that Nala's tears did not stop falling.

The tightness that Nala thought had disappeared, in fact, is now back sticking out to the surface. The feeling of losing a figure like Dandy turned out to be just extinguished. When it was tried to ignite, the pain was still gaping wide.

Nala's cry grew even more so and at such a moment, suddenly someone reached out a tissue for her. Nala was surprised and looked surprised.

When she found out who had reached out to her, Nala cried uncontrollably. I don't know because of what, the crying must have been getting broken.

Reigha nodded. He was just as devastated over the death of the Friend. His heart was again wracked with tightness when he saw Dandy's resting place and there was Nala beside him who was crying.

"Why? Why he had to leave on the wedding day. In fact, while he was saying a qobul sentence?" nala said to pour out her heart.

"Believers don't believe, it's God's plan. Sometimes people do not like God's plan. However, God knows that it is best for His servant. God never gives a test without reason. There must be a lesson to be learned" Reigha said.

Nala looked at Reigha with tears remaining. "Am I being tested?" ask Nala curiously.

Reigha smiled and of course nodded. "certain. Right now you are being tested," Reigha replied confidently.

"But why should I?" ask Nala again.

Reigha turned to meet Nala. "Because you are able," he replied, again able to make the contents of Nala's heart cool.

Nala turned her eyes to the frame leaning against the signboard which was a picture of Dandy smiling. A smile that can make Nala comfortable on the figure of Dandy.

In Dandy, Nala finds out what friends, friends, lovers, even a father figure. Dandy is perfect for a Nala who has many flaws. Perhaps that is why God wanted to preserve the perfection of His servant by making him come home at a young age.

Nala closed her eyes and recited the best prayers for Dandy who is now in heaven. After that, Nala sprinkled the red rose petals on the headstone.

It was also done by Reigha who had since noticed how the woman prayed.

"Nala?" call Reigha soft.

"Hm?" nala replied just muttering.

"Before actually leaving, Dandy once advised me," said Reigha who made Nala look surprised.

"Oh yeah? What message? Say it!" pinta Nala is impatient.

Reigha turned his gaze forward. Her hair seemed to move because of the wind and Nala noticed it.

"Dandy told me to take care of you and the kids after he's completely gone in the world. At that time I didn't know what Dandy meant. Now, I understand and will start to promise," Reigha said pausing his sentence for a moment.

"When did Dandy say that?" ask Nala wonder.

"First. When she had just finished her doctor's examination," Reigha replied gently.

"Here, in front of Dandy's funeral, I'll promise to look after you and the kids. This is not merely because of Dandy's request, because before being asked I will do it," promised Reigha brazing in the heart.

Nala did not respond and looked back at the frame containing the photo of Dandy. Reigha only noticed Nala's movements, which were now stroking the glass frame.

"Mas Dandy has been so good in my life. He accompanied me in my bad moments. When I need a friend to tell a story, he is always there" said Nala who made Reigha feel stunned.

"Even before he actually left, he was still trying to make my life and the children assured. He helped me find a job. He helped me build the business. He's very meritorious. Which unfortunately, I can't reply to everything, "sorry Nala again shed tears.

"He's not human. He's an angel who has transformed into a human being" said Nala who is increasingly bothered.

Seeing Nala coming back crying, Reigha ventured to touch Nala's back and stroked her up and down.

Believing in disbelief, Nala's cries gradually subsided. Both decided to move from there along with the sun which now looks back to the throne.

In the afternoon, Nala again learned a valuable lesson. Neither from Reigha nor from Dandy. As usual, Nala would turn around before actually raising her foot on the grave ground.

Nala smiled when in her illusion, there was Dandy who was smiling happily beside her headstone.

Then, Nala turned around to find Reigha who was going to get into her car.

"Mas Reigha!" peekik Nala who made Reigha snuff up to the steering wheel.

His head peeked through the frame of the car door. Looking questioningly at Nala.

"Thank you for being a good listener" Nala said sincerely with a sincere smile.

Reigha nodded and smiled back. The two decided to go to Dian's house by driving each other's car.

That day, Nala was like she had just released a stuffy taste in the chest. The taste that Nala never told anyone including her mother. After Dandy's departure, Nala hasn't told him the least bit about the grief in her heart.

Now, everything seems to have gone out and made Nala feel better.
