Chapter 16: Nostalgia of the Tree House

The sun was shining so hard that morning. A Jeep is parked in front of a lush forest near the beach. Nina walked alone with a small backpack on her back. He walked down the path before him.The dry branches of the broken oak blocked his every step but did not discourage Nina to keep going. After several meters of entering the forest area, he saw an empty field with a large, lush tree. The roots protrude out looking sturdy and strong. At the top there is a simple tree house made of several wooden trunks arranged with a thatched roof. There is a ladder from the mine on the side of the tree. This is the tree house that Carlo made when Nina was 7 years old. He looked around the tree. The tree stood right in the middle of the field. Behind it there are two branching paths with paths entering deeper forest areas. It was this part that Nina had never entered. Neither his parents nor Carlo ever allowed their son to enter there. They say there are a lot of wild animals. Because the road has not been passed by many people.

Nina decides to climb her tree house first. He groped the ladder made of the mine. It looks a bit worn out and some of its fibers seem to be drawn out, but the stairs still seem sturdy enough to climb. He also climbed it. His feet slowly climbed one by one of the stairs. Until he got to the tree house. The house has no doors. Only a hole can be entered by one small child. Nina had to bend her body to enter it. The inside of the house looks quite spacious.can contain 2 adults in it. Although some corners are covered by cobwebs that have inhabited it with a large thick dust.

Nina cleaned the middle of the room with a towel wipe that she carried in her backpack. He sat down for a moment to sigh.Formerly this tree house feels spacious for him. He plays here with Carlo. Now the house feels narrow to him. But it's fun enough for a place to rest. At the front and back of each there is a small window that can see the area around it. He opened both windows. Actually Nina's heart wondered what was behind the forest behind this tree house. Only guts were quite shriveled when he looked from the window..It seemed that the back of the tree house was just a forest that was much busier than the road that he was walking down while heading to this tree house. Until almost a part of the road looks invisible and only covered with lush trees. The sound of small sparrows adds to the atmosphere of tranquility in the tree house. Nina breathed fresh air several times.The smell of the leaves that were wet because of the dew was still felt. The special cold smell that he likes. He took a bottle from his backpack and some snacks that he had prepared from home. Nina also brought a pair of binoculars in her backpack. He took it draped around his neck. He can see far away some types of seabirds that are quite rare flying. But the lushness of the trees blocked his visibility.

In a magnificent castle, Carlo who was watching through his phone screen knew where the girl was. However, he chose as if he did not know where the girl was. He pressed the phone number button. He heard a ringing tone across there. Nina's pants pocket is shaking. The vibration came from his phone. Nina slumped into her pants pocket. A name was on his screen.

"Yes..Carlo Darling...What's up ? " nina said starting the conversation from her phone.

"Ooh .... Carlo honey...when you don't know ? Guess where I am now...How could a Carlo not be able to find me." replied Nina in a powerful voice. He understood very well who Carlo was like a brother, father and best friend to him. Carlo always knew wherever he went. He knew his father could not let Carlo take his eyes off him.

"Hmm ..It's Carlo you can definitely find me...If you can find me. Come here." Nina said back while hanging up her cell phone.

Carlo who had not had time to reply to Nina's words seemed a little surprised. But for him it was ordinary. He understood Nina's attitude. He just shook his head while smiling. You naughty girl! carlo said in his heart. Carlo took his motorcycle. He started the engine and rushed to where Nina was.
