Chapter 35: Hide and Seek

The Simon family spent 5 days at the villa. They have fun with satisfaction. There are only 2 days left. That night was long. A cold wind pierced into the bones making them unable to sleep. Since yesterday the day after the rain began to wet the area, Simon has guessed. It's gonna be colder tonight. That's right. Fortunately he had been looking for enough wood around the villa.

He lit the fireplace. A burning fire can warm the living room. The room is too cold. Samantha finally decided to hold the bed cover they have as a bed. Emily and Frans also gathered in the family room. Only the room felt warm. They brought pillows from their rooms.

For a moment they make the atmosphere by chatting, joking and playing games. Until slowly warm with fresh air blowing makes drowsiness very. The four of them fell into a deep sleep with a burning fireplace. But they don't know, someone's always watching them 24 hours.

That morning the ground was quite muddled. Rain that falls continuously for 2 days makes the forest area so humid and slippery. Simon and Samantha prefer to be around the villa. The back yard is wide enough to play for Emily and Frans. Simon prefers to use that time to work. He turned on his laptop in the dining room. Samantha was busy at the kitchen table, which was one room with a dining table, where Simon was busy staring at the screen of his laptop.

Emily and Frans play in the back. The kitchen door and window were left open by Samantha so that the cool air in the morning entered and she could monitor her two children who were playing there.

Emily and Frans are playing hide-and-seek. Emily was watching by closing her eyes. He was counting slowly as Frans looked for a place to hide. Frans ran quite far. The courtyard was just a vast meadow with a fountain pool and garden chairs. He found no place to hide except a stone fence covered with lush rose trees. Frans looked for a gap between the lush rose tree. When he found a hollow wall covered in rose bushes. He went into it. Frans saw the gap to get out and enter the forest area located behind the Villa.

Frans was surprised when a thin man was looking at him from behind a large tree trunk. Frans was scared but he saw the man clearly. The little girl was silent. The man smiled at Frans. After a while the man turned around and moved away from the villa.

Frans, who was stunned, then returned to focus when Emily's voice from a distance called and was looking for her. Frans peeked out of the leafy room of the rose. He quietly walked quickly, sneaking up to Emily's guard. Until just a few steps away, Frans ran ahead of his older brother who soon saw his presence behind him.

"Tap" Frans shouted as he patted the wall. Sign him first up and win the game.

"You lose, Emily.you're slow.I'm faster than you.." said Frans as he stuck out his brother's sticky tongue.

"Review You! I'll reply to you later !" emily replied annoyed to see her sister mocked herself.

Samantha who was making brownies heard the voices of her two little girls. He called out to her before the two had a fight.

"French ...Come here, help Mom cut the brownies for our snack .." cried Samantha to her two children.

"Oh yeah ??? Well naturally.This villa is old. Let's tell Manuella to fix it later." Mom replied to Emily.

"I saw someone in the woods earlier Mom.." Emily replied back.

"Hmm..really ?" Samantha at first seemed shocked by Frans' words. But because he knew around here there were some villas in the Rheinsen Mountains. Although apart.

"What do you see, Frans ?" ask Mom to her.

" I saw a man. He just smiled at me and then went in there." Frans replied innocently as he showed his hand informing me.

" Oh.maybe he is a resident who lives in this area as well, Frans.." replied Samantha without the slightest suspicion. Emily's been busy eating her own chocolate brownie. Upset by the tearing of his sister, making him not offer the brownies he was cutting into pieces on Frans.

"This ..to Papa.and Mom.." he gave a small plate of brownies to his parents.

"For me ?" frans asked Emily plainly. Emily ignored her sister. As he bit the brownies in his hand.

"Nothing!" emily's reply to her sister. Mom and her father who saw only smiling saw the behavior of his two little daughters if they were fighting.

"Ep..Wicked!" Frans is upset. His eyes looked teary. Samantha hurriedly calmed her youngest daughter down by giving her a large brownie cut.
