Chapter 17 Visit of Wen

While at work, he gets another strange mission from the system.

(Mission detected. Cleaning the trash can in the room of a fat pig)

Glenn's shocked. Because he completely avoided interaction with that fat fucking guy. But the system made the problems it faced become bigger. Honestly Glenn was calm because the fat man no longer bothered him and Wen. But now Glenn had to bother him because of the mission of the system.

During the break, Glenn saw the fat manager leaving his room. He slipped straight into the empty room. He thought the room would be locked. But it didn't. Maybe because there will be a cleaning service that cleans the room. So he didn't lock the room at all.

Glenn took out a small trash can that was in the room. He intended to lock the trash plastic bag, but he read something that caught his eye.

“What is this?” Glenn found a pile of suspicious paper that had been folded irregularly.

Glenn opened it and found documents about the edited and falsified financial statements. He's wide-eyed. Did the fat manager fake all the financial statements? It means he is corrupt. But how could he be so stupid as to throw dangerous evidence like this in a garbage can? Maybe he thought that the cleaning service would not be interested in something like this.

Glenn quickly picked up all the papers in the trash can. This thing might come in handy later. After that he tied up a plastic bag of trash and took it out of the room. He threw it in a large trash can that was outside the room.

It just so happened that Wen saw him carrying a large garbage bag and threw it away. “What are you doing?” asked Wen with a confused expression.

“Cleaning garbage” replied Glenn again.

“Where did you get that trash?” ask Wen again.

“From somewhere” replied the mysterious Glenn.

Wen pouted. He knew Glenn was completely unwilling to tell him about it. Finally he gave up on asking. The topic of this rubbish is not important. Wen also invited Glenn to eat together after work. Glenn refused again. Glenn said that he would do something after work. He wanted to practice his calligraphy and cooking skills.

Wen did not understand. “Calligraphy service? Are you good at calligraphy?”

“Of course” replied Glenn. Although his calligraphy was not the best, at least he had the skill and the skill was still able to develop.

Wen scrunched his forehead. He thought for a while then suddenly said. “I can see it?”

“Hah?”

Wen lowered his head, embarrassed and said in a squeaking tone. “I can see you practicing calligraphy skills?” Which means he wants to pay a visit to Glenn's apartment.

Glenn choked upon hearing his mission. The system wanted him to cook for Mia and also Wen at the same time. But how could he explain to Wen that there was an underage girl who always sneaked into his house?

“Can't?” wen's eyes glazed over, he was a little sad.

“Not so. You know my apartment is very dirty. You definitely don't like it.” Glenn replied quickly.

“It's okay. I want to go there” said Wen determined.

Finally, after work, he took Wen to his apartment. It was still five in the afternoon, so Mia had yet to sneak in. Though she's not sure Mia will sneak into her apartment again today.

As they entered, Wen's expression was not as expected. Glenn thought the woman would frown in disgust at the sight of her dusty and dirty apartment. But the girl entered politely and took off her shoes. Glenn instantly changed his view of Wen. She's a humble girl, Glenn likes her character.

Glenn had Wen sit in the middle of the room, where there was a small table. As Wen tried to sit down, her socks were slippery and she slipped. He almost banged his knees against the floor, but Glenn quickly refuted it by hugging his waist.

“I'm sorry Glenn apologized politely while removing his grip. “You're okay”

“I'm fine...” replied Wen quietly while lowering his face.

Glenn took off his work clothes and changed his clothes with a regular t-shirt. Glenn was casually bare-chested in front of Wen, making the girl's face flushed red like boiled shrimp.

Glenn took out his canvas and ink. Then he started holding the brush in his hand.

“What motto do you like?” ask Glenn.

Wen thought for a while then said “Life independently without relying on others”

Then give it to Wen.

"How's it?" she asked.

"Pretty good. I didn't know you had this kind of talent" Wen responded as he looked at Glenn meaningfully.

"I gave it to you as a gift"

Glenn thought that if he gave all the important figures his handmade calligraphy, he would complete hidden missions.

"Couldn't you?" he asked the system.

Glenn went on to write several calligraphers at random.

While Wen only noticed her writing in silence.

Glenn was quite satisfied with the result. He increased his calligraphy skill to level 2. After he finished, Glenn cooked dinner for him. Wen intended to help but Glenn said. "I want to cook my guests food. Take it easy, my cooking is not bad at all" Wen finally said.

Glenn intended to cook early for Wen to go home first. So maybe not meet Mia who will sneak in at night.

He cooked three menus today. He cooks fried nagi, roasted chicken and mushroom soup.

As he began to compile all the food menus on the table, SRAK! The window of the room suddenly shifted. Wen reflexively shouted as he saw a hand hanging under the window. Then slowly a head appeared and Mia jumped inside with a flat face. Not caring for Wen's shocked expression, Mia waltzed in casually, then sat down beside the table.

Mia stared intently at Glenn, "Bowls" he said. Tell Glenn to give her an empty bowl. Glenn picked it up quickly.

His stamina and strength had already reached the level of a normal human now. Glenn felt better. He felt that the tiredness in his body was gone in an instant. And his body is no longer as straight as it used to be. He felt changes in muscle mass in his hands and feet. She guessed that her weight was becoming normal now.

"Who is he?" ask Wen.

"An acquaintance" Glenn replied.

"How did he get in from the window?" Wen did not understand. This room is on the second floor. Then the girl climbed up here. Why didn't she just come normally by knocking on the door? The girl came in like a thief.

Glenn raised both of his hands and said "He is indeed like that" in an indifferent tone.

While Mia did not care about Wen's whereabouts at all. He ate quickly and finished his first portion. Then he took the second portion.
