Chapter 23 Job Vacancy

Glenn returned to his apartment with a lethargic face. He deliberately waited at a nearby supermarket while eating instant noodles, then returned with his bike in the afternoon. He deliberately did it so that the mother did not know everything. He decided to keep his sacking a secret from his mother until he managed to get a new job.

(Mission detected. Making a phone call with Wen for an hour) Another random mission came up. This time the mission was friendly.

"How's your job?" Rui served him a drink.

"Good" Glenn replied as he gulped down all his drinks. "Thank you mom"

Rui smiled. "Other times invite Wen to eat with us" he said.

Glenn immediately remembered his mission after hearing his mother's words. He immediately booked Wen after changing his work clothes to house clothes. He thought that woman must be sad right now. Because he was the one who was most worried about the issue of dismissal. Glenn wanted to cheer him up.

"Hello" Wen raised his call. "What's Glenn doing?"

"Hello. There's nothing. How are you feeling now? I'm looking for you but you're disappearing fast..."

"I'm sorry. I was really upset about the place and wanted to leave as soon as possible"

"Everything because of me. I'm sorry" Glenn felt guilty.

"It's not your fault. That person is indeed disgusting" Wen said. "I don't blame you at all. After all, now he has been exposed to his karma" he said happily.

"meaning?"

"You don't know?"

"What?" glenn asked stupidly.

"You spread that picture but you don't know?" yelled Wen annoyed. Finally Wen told me what happened. The photos are widespread on the internet and are becoming very popular news now. Even the fat man suspects as a criminal undergarment thief and stalker.

Glenn flabbergasted. He just uploaded those photos to the internet a few hours ago but they spread so fast. He was not sure that he had such an ability. Then she remembered Mia was helping him too. Glenn was sure the girl must have done something considering she was a genius.

"Then he was also fired" Wen ended his story.

"I really didn't know it would be this good" Glenn said excitedly. "So we're proven innocent, right? Is the director going to call us to work again?"

"Perhaps, but I won't be back" Wen replied.

"Why?"

"Because that damn woman fired us disrespectfully! He hasn't even looked for the real evidence and origin of accusing us. I hate people like that" he said angrily. "You still want to work under someone like that?"

Glenn did not answer his question. He immediately switched the conversation. "So you're gonna do what?"

"I've got a new job" Wen replied arrogantly.

Glenn was a little surprised. "So fast?"

"It was easy" Wen replied.

"Sure you have an unusual background, don't you?" Glenn had been suspicious from the start because he knew too many things and also the extended family in the capital.

"I don't understand what you mean" Wen said. Glenn could hear the woman's nervous voice. "I have an acquaintance and by chance that acquaintance told me a job opening. I applied and went in" he explained.

"So you want to go back to that dumpster?" ask Wen.

"Why not? I still need a job" Glenn replied honestly. He cannot act selfish. He still had to take care of his mother so he needed a lot of money.

"How about working at my place?" said Wen suddenly.

"Your place?" Glenn frowned confusedly.

"No. I mean my new company. There are two job openings here"

"Oh? What a coincidence" Glenn raised both eyebrows. He knew Wen was lying. But he doesn't blame her. He thanked the woman for trying to help him.

"What's the name of the company you're working for?" glenn asked later.

"Doha Pharmacy Group" Wen replied confidently.

"Oh? The company again?" Glenn muttered involuntarily. Everyone nearby was always connected to that famous company.

"That's the number one company in the city" Wen said proudly. "Luckily I have friends, I mean acquaintances there. That place is several times better than that rotten company" he said.

"Are you sure there's a vacancy there?"

"Yes. You don't trust me?"

"Of course I believe. Then can you send me the vacancy?"

"Of course" Wen immediately sent a notice of a new job opening. "In the interview, just tell me you got this vacancy from me"

"Is this the inside track?"

"You can say that" Wen laughed.

They talked about a few things about the art exhibition before ending their conversation.

He read the job vacancies sent by Wen. The position was suitable for him because his field was the same as his old job.

Glenn also created the necessary CV and emailed it along with some necessary conditions.

He just had to wait for the call for an interview.

"Mother, let me cook dinner" Glenn said later. He wanted to improve his cooking skills.

After dinner, his phone rang. He lifted. It turned out to be a call back to work for him. Allegedly right. The company called him back because he was found not guilty.

Actually Glenn was also feeling annoyed, just like Wen. But he was willing to accept the job because he still needed money. He'll get a new job at a better company. So of course he rejected the offer. He refused the offer politely.
