Chapter 9 Childhood Friends

Back to a few years ago when he was still sitting on the SD bench. Glenn was a very quiet student. He knew a little of all his classmates. Everything happened because no one wanted to be friends with him and he also did not want to approach others to make friends.

Until that day comes. It was raining heavily back then and Glenn had to run home with his little legs. He forgot to bring an umbrella, so he just broke through the rain with his bag. Fortunately, the bag was water resistant. That was the first time he had met Harris.

Little Harris stopped by the side of the road and put the umbrella there to protect a raining cat. They looked at each other and Harris smiled at him before leaving. Not only that, they meet many times because they love to feed wild cats. Harris scolded him for the first time. They often talked to each other after that.

They enter the same Junior High School and High School. Even though they were several times different in class, it did not break their communication relationship at all. Harris was a jolly and very friendly type of young man. Were it not for her sinister appearance, she would probably befriend many people. Glenn gasped when he heard the sound of the system. The daydreams about his past instantly disappeared. He did not expect that remembering his past with Harris was also included in a hidden mission. This system is really weird.

He said that while smiling broadly. Glenn did not know what to respond to. He did not know the words were just a joke or an insinuation for him.

The two people were looking for a place where they could sit and talk in private. Incidentally one of the shops near the street was providing chairs and a small table to sit on. They bought two cold drinks and sat there.

"Let's toast!" Harris lifted the bottle. And Glenn raised it as well. They had a small toast with two bottles of cold drink.

"Fruit! It was very refreshing" Harris said after finishing one bottle of the cold energy drink in a few sips.

Glenn just drank his cola bit by bit.

"How did you get here? And what is this? Of security? You work as a security guard now?"

Harris told me everything that happened in his life. It turned out that the young man had wandered into the city because he was tired of farming. He tells of his father who was so chatty that he chose to run away from home secretly. Then he became a street thug and led a group of thugs. Glenn nodded. That's not a bad choice. He did not intend to last long in this company because he did not develop at all. He didn't even get a raise after working for more than a year.

After telling the story of the plaintiff, they began to tell the stupid incident they had experienced. Harris has had many different events in her life. But as he headed to the second floor, there was another person waiting in front of his apartment. The man was none other than the owner of the apartment.

The woman glared at Glenn and shouted.

"You're a real fucking carrier!" his saliva spread as he opened his mouth. And the fat in his stomach started to sway.

"What's going on?" ryan asked confused.

"See this! Looky!" the woman pointed towards the apartment door while stomping her feet.

Glenn saw that the door of the apartment was dented due to being hit hard. In an instant Glenn knew who did it.

"A group of thugs suddenly came in and beat up your apartment door. It bothered everyone because it was so noisy. Did you owe them that they chased you like a mad dog?" The woman shouted with a trembling body.

Glenn frowned. "I don't know them at all"

"How are you gonna take responsibility for this? This includes destruction of property. You have to make up!" he said with glaring eyes.

Glenn was upset. He really doesn't know those thugs. He was sure someone had sent them to harm him. And he also guessed who did it.

"How much?" Glenn really did not like the owner of this apartment. The woman's shout was really loud and her voice could even be heard from afar.

"2000 zloth" he replied with a spit.

"Isn't that too expensive for a door?" glenn disagreed. His salary was only 3000 zloths. Just to replace the door he would need to pay 2000 zloths.

"You think changing doors is easy and cheap?" The woman began to use her middle finger to point towards Glenn. "That's because you're really poor and don't know the price at all! You need to get your damages or I'll report you to the police!"

Glenn gritted his teeth. He was about to explode and really wanted to strangle this crazy woman.
