Ch. 15 - Yao Jun vs. 3 Kings

“We also want to wrap food for the next few days.”

“Ah, good ..please wait.”

Yao Jun and Li Yuwen had already finished eating their dishes and were preparing to leave after the wrapped food came.

Moments later the maid returned with some food wrapped in cloth.

“This is the money,” Yao Jun said as he gave one gold coin away.

“Tuan ... this is too much,” reply the lady's maid was shocked.

“It's okay, just think of it as a cost for the mess I just made.”

The waiter then bowed in gratitude then led Yao Jun as well as Li Yuwen to the exit of the tavern.

Yao Jun and Li Yuwen walked leisurely towards the city gate.

“Lian’er beware.”

“Lian’er understand father, Lian’er will be careful on the way to Lightning Sword Sect.”

Tang Jianying stroked Tang Lian's head even though she actually did not want her only princess to leave the palace, for fear that anything would happen to her.

“General Liong, take good care of Lian’er .. also bring 10 members of the Blood Gold squad with you so that Lian’er guard is more guaranteed.”

“Hamba understands your highness.”

The Blood Gold Army was a special force that Tang Jianying had formed to guard herself as well as her family, the strength of this army itself was quite high.

The average soldier in it had many 3rd class Mortal levels to several 2nd class Kings, and the head of the army was General Liong himself who was at the 1st class Earth level.

Tang Lian as well as General Liong left the palace for the Lightning Sword Sect and was followed by 10 men from the Blood Gold army who were lurking from afar.

“Uncle Liong, roughly how long will it take to get to our destination?” ask Tang Lian.

“I used to be there once, and it would take about ten days if there were no obstacles to get there princess Lian.”

Yao Jun and Li Yuwen who were already outside of the city started running towards the sect, but when their distance was not far from the city, the, three masked men also appeared a frightened middle-aged man blocking their path.

“It just so happened to meet you Jade of Death,” exclaimed one of the masked men.

Yao Jun and Li Yuwen raised his vigilance as the three people in front of him let out killing intent.

Yao Jun turned his gaze towards the middle-aged man who was with them and recognized his face.

“I shouldn't have forgiven you earlier, but it's okay because you've been willing to take your own life,” Yao Jun said with a faint smile behind her mask.

The middle-aged man shuddered in fear and begged the three people in front of him for help.

“Senior I've brought you guys to him, please protect me instead.” The middle-aged man begged.

“Just relax, we won't let the Jade of Death kill you,” replied one of the masked men.

But the middle-aged man had no time to thank him, his head was separated from his body.

“Hmph .. You think we're your guards?” continue the man.

“For the one who is soon dead you talk quite a lot, what if we just start?”

“Heh .. I should have told you that.”

Yao Jun then unsheathed his heirloom sword and prepared to advance, “Li Yuwen, look and learn how to beat up the sheep like these three people in front of us.”

The three people in front of him ignited emotions after being compared to a sheep and started to draw their respective heirloom swords and began to charge forward towards Yao Jun.

Yao Jun also advanced to welcome the attacks of the three of them and made a loud roar of sound in the air as their weapons met.

In just a short time they had already exchanged tens to hundreds of moves, yet it could be seen that Yao Jun was in an unfavorable position.

However the three people in front of him did not give any gap at all to Yao Jun, and it started to irritate him.

Yao Jun briefly unleashed 10 sword slashes towards the three people in front of him, but was easily able to be restrained by the three.

A fierce battle once again occurred between Yao Jun and the other three, and without feeling they had already exchanged up to a hundred moves.

But he still had not done so because he was looking for a gap, while the three people in front of him were on standby for an attack that might come suddenly.

Now the entire attention of the three men was focused towards Yao Jun, yet unlucky were they for not not noticing the attacks that might be coming from the outside.

Two stone pieces the size of an adult's fist shot rapidly towards those who were focused towards Yao Jun.

And one of them realized that fast-flowing stone, “ Everything dodged.”

Surprised by the words of his friend, two others reflexively jumped in the opposite direction to avoid the object directed at them.

‘Meet,’ Inner Yao Jun with a smile behind his mask.

The three people then looked towards the rock that had just been pointed at them, and were shocked upon seeing it.

“Ordinary stone?”

The three of them were perplexed before finally realizing their mistake and immediately refocused themselves towards Yao Jun, yet Yao Jun had already disappeared from the spot.

“Gawat! .. protect yourself with Qi—”

One of them warned however after that his head separated from his body with Yao Jun standing in a slashing position in front of him.

Yao Jun after that looked towards the origin of the stone in the throw, and found Li Yuwen standing there.

‘Good work of my disciple,’ Inner Yao Jun with a proud smile on his face.

The remaining two people had their hearts ignited with emotion from seeing the death of their comrade, and quickly turned their heads towards Li Yuwen who was throwing stones.

“You're a bully boy.”
