The Lord of the Gods of the Universe

The Lord of the Gods of the Universe
Ch. 5 - Book of the Gods of the Universe

Carrying the pointed short wood in his left hand, Li Yuwen began to run towards the two wolves that were greedily eating their prey before finally realizing Li Yuwen's presence, but they were a little late before one of the heads of the wolf was hit by a stone.

“Because,” Inner Li Yuwen with a thin smile on her lips.

Seeing his friend being hit by the attack, the other wolf became furious and ran towards Li Yuwen quickly. When it was only a few steps away with Li Yuwen, the wolf leaped towards Li Yuwen with the intention of wanting to pounce on him.

“Want to attack me? Not that easy.”

Li Yuwen took out the sand behind his clothes that he had prepared, and quickly threw the sand towards the wolf eyes that were leaping towards him.

The wolf noticed the sand Li Yuwen threw and tried to avoid the sand that led to his eyes, but because of the distance too close, the wolf's eyes were still exposed to a little sand thrown.

The wolf canceled its safest because it could not see the result of the sand that had just been thrown, seeing that Li Yuwen did not miss his chance.

He quickly approached the wolf who could not see it with the pointy wood in his left hand.

Once in a close enough taste, Li Yuwen quickly pierced the neck of the wolf who could not see it. Realizing that something was piercing the wolf's neck in pain, he thrashed and tried to remove the object that pierced his neck.

But Li Yuwen did not stand still, he shifted the pointy wood he was holding with all his might and made the wolf's neck in front of him tear quite long, long enough, the wolf in pain also breathed its last because of the lack of blood due to the attack carried out by Li Yuwen.

The other wolf still did not move because of the heavy dizziness he experienced due to Li Yuwen's stone throw that hit his head.

Seeing that, Li Yuwen immediately ran towards the poor wolf intending to do the same to the wolf he had killed before.

And without a fight the second wolf also died at the hands of Li Yuwen.

“Against the two of them is quite time consuming for me, I must leave here immediately before another wild beast comes over smelling the blood of these two wolves.”

Li Yuwen again ran towards his destination lake without resting.

“At last I arrived, the lake that holds the Book of Gods of the Universe, Li Yuwen's inner” with a smile on his face as well as his heavy breathing from running nonstop.

“I need a drink and also a short break in order to explore the ancient ruins later.” Li Yuwen then drank the water of the lake in front of him and began to rest for 10 minutes.

“Alright I'm ready .. time to dive.”

Li Yuwen went into the water and started diving towards the bottom of the lake. Arriving at the bottom, Li Yuwen saw a dim green light in the form of a small door, and without further ado he approached and opened the radiant door in front of him and went into his drowning.

Arriving inside, Li Yuwen went down the stairs that were already available behind the door of light he had just entered. Inside the door was a fairly large room filled with many iron doors on the left and right.

“In my previous life, it took me about 1 year to explore all the places in these ruins. And the contents behind the doors that are around me is just an empty passage filled with many traps ... I even almost lost my life in one of the doors in this ancient ruin.”

Li Yuwen ignored every door he saw as well as being careful of the path he walked through, as there were indeed quite a number of traps hidden along the path he passed.

Although there were many traps that could take his life, Li Yuwen was able to pass through all the dangerous traps, because he was familiar with the place.

Li Yuwen continued walking forward without any meaningful hitch.

After 30 minutes of walking, Li Yuwen finally found his destination, in front of him was seen a door that was quite large as 5 meters high and decorated with gold and jewels.

“Finally until ... Didn't think I would have the Book of Gods of the Universe again in my second life.”

Li Yuwen walked up to the big door in front of him and tried to open the big door.

Behind the large door was a room much larger than the previous room, the atmosphere of the room was quite beautiful with gold and jewel ornaments that almost filled the ceiling of the large room.

But Li Yuwen ignored all that, his gaze fixed on a jewel-blue book that was in the middle of the large room.

The book was floating in the air and underneath it was a small, tightly sealed golden chest. Li Yuwen then walked closer towards the floating book.

“Book of the Gods of the Universe ... If only I had learned it sooner, maybe I could still have saved my teacher's life,” muttered Li Yuwen with a sad face.

In Li Yuwen's first life, his teacher was killed when he was 32 years old when he was killed protecting himself from the attacks of black flow cultivators, the teacher Li Yuwen before that had indeed suffered from internal medicine.

The disease he got after he was seriously injured due to an attack from the siege of the Demon Monster while on a mission.

Because of the internal illness he suffered, made his original strength decrease and could not increase the level of his practice.

“Just calm teacher, in my second life ..I will heal you and will not allow yourself to be killed. I'll make sure you live happily and die of age,” Determined Li Yuwen with a serious face.

“In my previous life, after I took the Book of Gods Universe these ruins became unstable and eventually collapsed, it also made me not have time to see the contents of the golden chest that was under the Book of Gods of the Universe,” Inner Li Yuwen while glancing at the small golden chest that was underneath.

Li Yuwen crouched down and opened the golden chest before him, and he was surprised to see the familiar thing inside the golden chest.

“It ... Isn't this the Dimension Ring? I can't believe that in the golden coffin that I didn't open in my previous life was a Dimension Ring.”

Generally the Dimension Ring was only owned by middle-level sects and large sects, in the middle sects themselves only had one or two Dimensional Rings and were only worn by patriarchs or sect elders.

As for the big sects usually only had three to five Dimensional Rings, and were only worn by patriarchs and sect elders as well.

Li Yuwen then injured his index finger and dripped his blood on the Dimensional Ring he was holding, his goal was to form a contract between himself and the Dimensional Ring.

The person who has a contract with the Dimensional Ring, as long as the person lives, the Dimensional Ring that is contracted can never be opened by anyone else.

After binding the contract, Li Yuwen placed the Dimensional Ring on the index finger of his right hand, and began to see the contents inside the Dimensional Ring he was wearing.

“This ..I did not think the contents were Spirutal***, I increasingly regret myself not opening the contents of this chest first in my previous life, and again the Spiritual Stone within this Dimensional Ring numbered 10,000 pieces of low-tier Spiritual Stone.”

Spiritual Stones are blue-colored crystal-shaped stones that contain Qi, this stone is commonly used to transact by cultivators or in use to absorb the Qi inside.

Spiritual Stones are divided into 3 categories; low level, intermediate level, and upper level. Top-tier Spiritual Stones were quite rarely seen as they were rarer than the other two levels.

Not everyone could have a Spiritual Stone, only middle and upper tier sects could have one, but there were also some small sects that had Spiritual Stones.

This happened because it was indeed a fairly difficult existence to find, and only the big sects and some middle sects were quite easy to have it because it had mines for Spiritual Stones.

After examining the contents of the Dimensional Ring, Li Yuwen prepared to take out the Book of Gods of the Universe and ran out from the ancient ruins.

But again he was surprised after taking the Book of Gods of the Universe ancient ruins that he was working fine and did not show a sign of collapse, instead appeared the door in front of him.

“It's a little different than I remember.”

Li Yuwen opened the door in front of him and instantly he felt a fairly dense Qi from inside the door, then he walked in and saw a room surrounded by silver-colored trees.

There are 10 trees in the room, and in each tree looks an apple-shaped fruit with a silver color like the tree they occupy, Li Yuwen recognized the fruit growing on the tree of the room he entered.

“Isn't that an Iron Apple? As I recall it is a top-tier Spiritual Plant that is quite rare, and is used to improve the quality of bones ... Even in my previous life I had only seen him once at auction.”

Spiritual Plants were Qi-containing plants commonly used by cultivators to cultivate, medicine, and also distilled into pills. Spirtual Plants were the most needed resources for cultivators to help improve their practice.

The category of Spiritual Plants was the same as the category of Spiritual Stones; low level, puffing level, and top level.

After seeing the Iron Apples, Li Yuwen looked at the other spiritual plants that were on the ground.

“First 10 pieces of Iron Apples that help improve bone quality, and now also there are 10 Iron Grass that can help forge 4 foundations, 2 Top-tier Spiritual Plants in one place, It seems like there is an intent behind all this.”

Li Yuwen began to research the situation before recalling a technique that existed in the Book of Gods Universe. A faint smile appeared on Li Yuwen's lips.

“So as it is ... If viewed from the first technique in the Book of Gods Universe, these two Spiritual Plants are suitable to accompany him.”

The first technique of the Book of Gods Universe was none other than a technique to improve the quality of bones as well as forging 4 foundations without the need for resources quickly.

Usually someone needs a lot of resources and expensive to forge the quality of his bones as well as a long time.

As for for forging 4 foundations, a cultivator could use Qi to forge his foundation, but it took quite a long time when not using resources, and the cost for the resources themselves was quite expensive.

Therefore in a sect only the most geniuses in the sect are given the resources to perfect the 4 foundations of his own, which is his, because of that too many cultivators did not perfect the foundation of his own and only ranged from 40-60 percent of his perfection level.

“The great building followed with a solid pillar and a strong foundation,” said Li Yuwen with praise.

“If you see from the many of these two materials, it will take 3 years to spend everything ... It also coincided with the time of the teacher's arrival to the Thousand Monster Forest to carry out the mission.”

In Li Yuwen's previous life he met his teacher after his teacher accidentally found himself resting in the lake of his present location, and knowing the story of Li Yuwen made his teacher heartless and then raised him to become a disciple.

“Wait for me teacher ... Different from my previous life, in the second life now ... I'll protect you, Li Yuwen's inner”

“Alright .. in view of the present quality of my bones, it looks like these are ordinary bones. In my previous life the quality of my bones was the Sea Bone,” he said disappointedly.

The quality of bones in divided into 10 categories; Ordinary Bone, Copper Bone, Silver Bone, Gold Bone, Jade Bone, Sea Bone, Earth Bone, Sky Bone, Heaven Bone, and God Bone.

Because of the difficulty of improving bone quality, bone quality is used as a benchmark for the talent that everyone has. Bone quality also affected one's physical strength as well as one's speed in cultivation.

The foundation is divided into 4 categories; Organ, Bone, and Blood Skin.

“With the existing high-level resources as well as a fairly solid Qi ... I can quickly improve the quality of my bones and foundation.” Li Yuwen encouraged himself.

“Alright, first I will start from improving the quality of my bones to Copper Bones ... This is to make me not think too much about food in the future.”

For a cultivator who was above the level of Ordinary Bones, it was not impossible to endure hunger and thirst for a full year if they did not engage in any strenuous activity, even eating an apple was enough for the next year.
