The Lord of the Gods of the Universe
Ch. 17 - Tang Jianying's Mistake

Not wanting to be further involved and badly hit, the young man immediately ran out of the room to do as he was told.

While the ugly middle-aged man was smiling in his room.

“Tang Jianying ... After all my plans are done, in our next meeting I will regret that I have made me like this.”

The middle-aged man began to laugh meaningfully thinking about the plan he had to make his laughing voice echo throughout the room, then there was the sound of knocking on the door that broke his laughter.

“Who?” asked the middle-aged man from inside the room.

“Seventh elder, the other six elders are already waiting for you in the meeting room ... you are requested to attend now.”

“Alright, wait for me...”

At the same time, Tang Jianying was seen with her personal eunuch standing on the balcony of the emperor's residence and was thinking about her daughter who was traveling.

“Kasim ... roughly has Lian’er arrived at the Lightning Sword Sect?”

The eunuch who heard that coughed softly then replied, “Emperor .. Tang Lian's daughter hasn't even been a day since her departure from the palace, of course the princess hasn't reached the emperor.”

Tang Jianying who heard that became even more worried about what would happen to her beloved daughter.

And began to regret his choice to let his daughter go towards the Lightning Sword Sect.

“The noble emperor was calm, Tang Lian's daughter was not alone .. she was with General Liong who was at the level of 1st class Earth as well as 10 members of the Blood Gold army were located

at the level of the King that the emperor chose himself to guard the princess.”

Hearing what his eunuchs said made Tang Jianying a little more relieved, but her relief was shattered when a woman came to him who was on the balcony of the emperor's residence.

The woman was quite beautiful with her black hair and white skin, her body was also slender and wrapped in a red dress that had a flower-shaped motif and made of gold.

There was also a small crown adorning the top of the newly arrived woman's head, seeing that it made Tang Jianying also her personal eunuch respond quickly.

“Greetings to the empress,” Personal eunuch Tang Jianying saluted.

“Jing–Jing’er? What are you doing here?” tang Jianying asked nervously.

Seeing the strangeness on Tang Jianying's face made Liu Jingmi suspicious of her husband and began to speak.

“I'm here because I didn't see Lian’er at the usual place she was practicing ... and also, why did you become so nervous because of my kedat?”

“I–it ... nothing,” replied Tang Jianying nervously.

At the imperial court Liu Jingmi was famous for her cruelty to her husband, if her husband made a mistake then there would be the sound of screams as well as whips from inside the emperor's bedroom as well as the empress.

Even the ladies and gentlemen of the eunuchs in the palace knew of the cruelty of their empress to the emperor, and it made them fear for it.

Although Liu Jingmi loved Tang Jianying very much, many things were unexpected in the course of their love before starting the marriage.

The opposite was true, although Tang Jianying could escape easily from his wife's torment because her level of practice was higher than hers, but he did not do it because he deserved it and did not want to make his beloved wife sad.

Liu Jingmi had become as ruthless as it was ever since she gave birth to Tang Lian, too many mistakes Tang Jianying made in taking care of her beloved daughter. Even in the past Tang Jianying had once unintentionally let the 5-year-old Tang Lian almost fall into a fairly high abyss.

Seeing the nervousness on Tang Jianying's face made Liu Jingmi ask.

“Where is Lian’er?”

Tang Jianying who heard that distributed lightning struck in her ear, and she began to understand why she had become so nervous since Tang Lian's departure from the palace.

“Lian–Lian’er is walking with General Liong in the city, ka–you don't have to worry Jing’er.” Tang Jianying replied in fear.

Liu Jingmi realized there might be something that Tang Jianying had hidden from her, and started asking her the same thing but this time her tone was so cold.

“Where is Lian’er?”

Tang Jianying became even more frightened, then she turned her gaze towards her personal eunuch intending to ask him for help, but the eunuch simply shook his head quickly and turned his gaze away.

Tang Jianying became annoyed at it then returned her attention to Liu Jingmi and began to speak the truth about it.

After he finished telling the story, Liu Jingmi's face, which was previously a smile, became lost and looked colder than before.

‘Dead me!’ inner Tang Jianying.

Tang Jianying then intended to run but a rope that was hard enough hooked her legs and made her fall.

And a hand holding one of his legs then dragging him towards the room, it was Liu Jingmi.

“No Wife, please forgive me.” Tang Jianying begged for forgiveness but was not reciprocated.

Then Tang Jianying turned her head back towards her personal eunuch and shouted for help.

“Easy help me!”

But what he saw was not in accordance with his expectations, eunuchs who had been taken care of for more than 10 years even showed a tribute that was addressed to the dead.

Tang Jianying cursed his personal eunuch inwardly and begged his wife for forgiveness even though it was not answered.

And shortly afterwards a very loud scream came out from the emperor's residence, the lady-in-waiting and the eunuch who heard it and prayed for the safety of their poor emperor.

The screams continued until nightfall.

Yao Jun and Li Yuwen decided to stop after running for several hours nonstop as the day started to darken, Yao Jun decided to prepare their dinner while Li Yuwen looked for wood to light them at night.

They began to eat dinner after the fire was lit.

Yao Jun looked towards Li Yuwen and began to recall the help Li Yuwen had given him while he was fighting with the three 2nd class King level men of the Mountain 7 Sins organization.

“Wen’er, your teacher is grateful for the help you gave when we fought this afternoon.”

“It's okay teacher, it's my duty to help if the teacher is in trouble,” Li Yuwen replied meaningfully.

Hearing that made Yao Jun feel proud to feel lucky to have raised a disciple who was so devoted to his teacher, also had mature thoughts and had high talent.
