Ch. 22 - Tang Lian's Talent

Hearing General Liong's praise, Zhang Wu became delighted and turned to Tang Lian. However just like before, Tang Lian was not interested in it even remained not glancing towards Zhang Hao.

‘This little princess is so arrogant .. Just look until you are interested in my granddaughter during the student acceptance exam later,’ Zhang Wu smiled wickedly.

Zhang Hao who was pleased with General Liong's praise then glanced at Tang Lian who looked uninterested in him, making Zhang Hao a little annoyed then took a step further.

“What about Tang Lian's daughter? Am I talented enough?” zhang Hao said without shame.

Xiang Yong who saw Zhang Hao took a bold step by asking Tang Lian directly, only shook his head then looked at Zhang Wu.

Zhang Wu who noticed Xiang Yong's gaze then turned his face the other way, was afraid that he would be lectured again by Xiang Yong.

It wasn't just Zhang Hao. General Liong, Xiang Yong, and Zhang Wu were also waiting for the answer that Tang Lian would say with the talent that Zhang Hao possessed.

“Commonly,” said Tang Lian in a flat tone without turning her head towards Zhang Hao.

Hearing what Tang Lian had just said, Xiang Yong as well as General Liong held back a laugh at her. While Zhang Hao and Zhang Wu who saw the reaction of the two of them became embarrassed.

“I–it .. princess Tang Lian, princess knows for herself when the quality of gold bones is quite rare right? why do princesses think it's normal?” zhang Wu asked a little embarrassed.

“That's right, it's okay if the princess says it's normal if the princess has the same bone quality or below it.. there's no shame in saying it.” Zhang Hao tried to exalt himself.

Being humiliated by Zhang Hao's words, Tang Lian approached Xiang Yong then extended her hand.

Xiang Yong who understood Tang Lian's intention reached out his hand to her then held onto Tang Lian's wrist and began to examine her pulse.

Just a moment after Xiang Yong held his breath deeply, “Bone ... Marine Bone?” said surprised.

Xiang Yong's words made the group of people who saw them become hysterical, a furore ensued in the Lightning Sword Sect because of it.

How not, the quality of the jade bones themselves has a less than 10 percent chance of being found, while people with sea bone quality have a 1 percent chance of being found.

Amongst the furore, only Zhang Hao lowered his head in embarrassment, never did he expect his words to backfire on himself.

“Fondation?” Zhang Wu asked excitedly.

Xiang Yong then went back to check Tang Lian's pulse, “Se .. perfect, the foundation is perfect.”

“I mean the foundation elders are 100 percent?” Zhang Wu asked again.

Xiang Yong then simply nodded his head slowly to answer Zhang Wu's curiosity.

The furore became even more after Xiang Yong said it, making a masked young man bewildered by the noise that reached his place.

“What happened?” Li Yuwen asked.

“Do not lose your concentration, if this is a fight you will definitely hurt Wen’er,” replied Yao Jun.

Yao Jun was actually also curious about what was happening but tried to ignore it, as he thought that it might just be the voices of the girls who started the commotion again after seeing Zhang Hao.

Yao Jun looked up and found a darkening day, “Alright, let's finish today's practice .. since you also need a break for the acceptance exam tomorrow.”

“Then the student goes teacher...” Li Yuwen left the courtyard.

Seen as Tang Lian and the others arrived at the empty residence previously offered by Xiang Yong, General Liong then stuffed and arranged his luggage as well as Tang Lian in a different room.

It took a few minutes for General Liong to arrange all the items he had brought, and after that Xiang Yong approached him to discuss the assistance requested by the empire.

Tang Lian who saw General Liong and Xiang Yong talking to each other decided to go and train in a quiet place.

While Zhang Wu was trying to follow him but was held back by Xiang Yong, Zhang Wu became a little regretful for telling Zhang Hao to return to training after he humiliated himself.

Though he thought this was a good opportunity for himself to be alone with Tang Lian while exchanging advice in martial arts.

Evening arrived, Li Yuwen who had finished buying the materials needed for dinner, immediately walked back to the residence.

But on a fairly quiet road towards the direction of the residence, Li Yuwen heard a sound like a sword that was slashing the wind, and, and out of curiosity Li Yuwen began to walk slowly without making a sound to look at the source of the sword slash's voice.

Arriving at the direction of the source of the voice, Li Yuwen found a young girl playing with a beautiful sword.

The young girl made a graceful and delicate sword move, with the moonlight of the night accompanied by the dress she wore, others would not believe her when she was doing the exercises.

With the smooth movements she showed, as well as her graceful appearance accompanied by a matching dress and a beautiful face being illuminated by the moonlight, anyone who saw would call her an angel who was dancing beautifully.

Especially in some parts of his body reflected the moonlight that shone on him because of the sweat he let out.

“Beautiful sword technique,” praise Li Yuwen slowly.

Long enough Li Yuwen stayed where he saw the girl in front of him practicing the sword, until finally a sound came out of the girl's mouth.

“When did you see me with your lecherous gaze?”

Li Yuwen who heard it was shocked, “Eh ... Mesum?!” li Yuwen was confused.

Li Yuwen immediately came out showing himself from a dark place before he watched the girl practice.

“It looks like you have the courage to show yourself a pervert,” Tang Lian said in a cold tone.

“Wait .. let me ask, why did the lady call me a pervert?” Li Yuwen tried to ask.

But without waiting for the answer given, Li Yuwen immediately understood with the intention of Tang Lian calling him a pervert, that she understood after seeing the dress that Tang Lian was wearing showing the curves of her body as a result of her cloth clinging to the sweat she was putting out.

“Stop staring at my perverted body,” Tang Lian said as she slashed a sword at Li Yuwen who was staring at her.
