Approaching Rey
As usual, every 06:00 a.m. Rey is getting ready to go to the office. He already looks handsome. His face now looks fresher, not as gloomy as before. Rey is happy, because now she can be close to her son again, and her job now is to reverse the trust of the child. Being a responsible father, who can support his child.
"Ma, Rey left first! Hopefully, Rey will get a paycheck soon. Later, if Rey's already paid. We're going to the hospital for treatment! I hope your mom gets well. Don't be sad anymore!" Rey told her mother. Rey kissed the mother's hand, and then she left the farm.
Rey intends to find a monthly rented house that one house. So that the mother occupies a more decent place to live. Little by little, Rey tries to get better.
Rey just got to the company. He's trying to work well. It never occurred to him again for corruption as it used to be. The experience was a valuable lesson for him. Now, no one will help him anymore. If he ever stumbles into trouble.
"Rey, please come to my room now!" Melani contacts Rey from the office phone line call.
"Good ma'am, I'll be there soon" Rey said.
Rey went straight out of her room, into Melani's room. Rey knocks on the door of the room, before entering.
"Lake in!" Melani orders from inside her room. Rey opened the door to Melani's room slowly, and went inside.
"Hey Rei, just relax talk to me! Come in here, please sit down!" Melani. Although Melani is being nice to him, she tries to keep her distance.
With hesitation, Rey finally follows Melani's orders to sit down with her. Rey feels awkward sitting next to Melani. He tried to catch his breath to calm down. Melani is a beautiful woman, she still looks young. Although he is now 35 years old. She is three years older than Rey.
"So this is Rey, this Saturday I have a family event. I want you to accompany me on the show. I'm tired, asked when to marry" said Melani. Makes Rey swallow her saliva. In fact, he was already feeling happy and lived a quiet life like this now. He just wants to focus on his child and his mother.
Rey looked silent. She's confused. What he should say. To be honest, he still did not want to be tied down. Especially with a woman who is superior to him. As a man, he felt ashamed.
"Come on Rey! So, you don't want to help me? I've been in love with you since we first met. I want to marry you" said Melani to the point making Rey gawk. Unable to speak. He didn't expect Melani to be like that.
"But, Mum. We are so different. Like I said to my mother. I don't deserve my mother. Better look for another man who is worthy of motherhood. If only accompanied my mother. Ok. I don't mind. I am ready to accompany my mother. But, if the matter of marriage. I'm not ready, ma'am. I am not a person who is, my status is already a widower of one child," Rey explained to Melani.
