The Lost Prince

The Lost Prince
CHAPTER 13 TEACHES LIEUTENANT FIDELL

Lieutenant Fidell awaits the arrival of General Felix and Dhafin not in the living room, but near the main entrance. As soon as he saw the two people coming towards him, he immediately stood up from his chair with a smile. It turned out to be with the two people, Miss Carissa and Ariesha Divya.

"Congratulations, Dhafin! You were specially invited by His Majesty the King because of your great service," Lieutenant Fidell said, smiling proudly.

"What do you mean, Lieutenant Fidell?" general Felix asked sharply.

"His Majesty the King already knows that Dhafin has contributed to dismantling the crime of the City Office of the Landlord, Lord General," said Lieutenant Fidell casually without feeling sinful.

"Who let you tell him, Mr Fidell?" tanya Dhafin was cold-pitched. The aura of his handsome face had now turned coldly sinister. His pair of dark eyes stared at Lieutenant Fidell sharply mixed with cold, icy cold.

Seeing the change, Ariesha immediately worriedly mixed with annoyance. Anxious to see Dhafin already showed his aura of anger, which even though he was a child, but if already angry can be scary.

Upset, because Lieutenant Fidell immediately revealed Dhafin's involvement in dismantling major crimes in Pendar City. Though in the city of Pendar his father and his troops had agreed with Dhafin not to disclose it to anyone before there was agreement from Dhafin.

Mrs Carissa also felt horrified mixed worried to see the change in Dhafin. He had not expected this little boy like Dhafin to be able to give off such a sinister aura of anger.

"Aren't you glad I told you your candor in the presence of His Majesty the King?" lieutenant Fidell said astonished at the mixed confusion, why did Dhafin feel unhappy about his efforts? Is that a good chance to get face to face before the King of Amerta Kingdom?

"You broke the deal, Lieutenant," said General Felix already growling furiously. "And you have also stepped over my authority as a palace official. Are you going to replace me, Lieutenant?"

"Eh, that's not it, Mr. General," Lieutenant Fidell was still insistent on defending himself. "Where do I dare to replace you. I'm just trying to represent you to convey it to His Majesty. Perhaps you have not dared to convey it to His Majesty in order to keep Dhafin feeling, because he is your adopted son."

"Supply...!"

Not General Felix, but Dhafin. The tone was not as loud as people snapping, but it was cold-pitched. Instantly Dhafin stretched his right hand to the bottom side with the jest spread. Then it moved a little forward. So the air that turned solid around Lieutenant Fidell spun quite tightly.

Lieutenant Fidell didn't see anything circling it, but he could feel it. Not yet able to realize what happened, Dhafin had twisted a little while his five fingers slightly bent inward. So the swirling dense air was immediately wrapped around from his feet to his entire body following his two hands.

Not playing surprised Lieutenant Fidell realized his body was wrapped in something invisible to make him tense mixed with fear. Before long the dense air was getting tighter wrapped around his body to make him in pain, making him short of breath. He could barely move his now tightly coiled body. The only one who is free to move is his head.

"Master General! What happened to me...?" lieutenant Fidell shouted hysterically in fear mixed with pain.

It was clear that everyone who saw the fate of Lieutenant Fidell, other than Ariesha, was surprised not to play. What they saw was incredible. It was not seen what caused Lieutenant Fidell to such an extent, but it looked as if the man was wrapped around a huge snake. While Lieutenant Fidell was still screaming between fear and pain.

General Felix looked towards Dhafin. He saw the boy raise his right hand forward at waist level. And a moment later it was heard that Lieutenant Fidell was screaming in agony. As soon as he took a quick look at Lieutenant Fidell, he knew the man had already been raised to four cubits.

General Felix would like to say what at this time, his mouth still can not be spoken so astonished. It's not that he's never seen anything like this. He knew this phenomenon was an inner force of energy by controlling the air element that turned solid, thus making the air wrapped around Lieutenant Fidell's body like a huge caterpillar.

But this incredible incident was done by a boy of Dhafin's age. Isn't that an amazing thing?

"Ariesha, what happened to Mr Fidell?" madam Carissa asked in a fit of disbelief amidst her shock.

"Just calm down, Mother," said Ariesha in a relaxed tone. "Sir Dhafin is teaching Mr. Fidell let him be deterred. It's his own fault who told him to break the deal."

He then looked at Dhafin. But he still did not understand what Dhafin was doing.

"Mother still does not understand what you mean," that's all Ms. Carissa can do.

"Later I'll explain to you, Mother."

Meanwhile, Dhafin again turned his hand slightly while bending again a little five of his fingers. Then the dense air rose wrapped around Lieutenant Fidell's neck. And the dense air grew stronger and stronger wrapped around his body and neck. Made Lieutenant Fidell even more tormented. His whole body now feels broken. His bones seemed to be breaking. Plus his neck was choked. His fiercely stiffened face grew even paler.

"I'm sorry, Dha-fin, '" said Lieutenant Fidell with great difficulty because his neck was choked. His breath was already gasping. "Don't-shall...! E-turn...!"

"I know in your mind you underestimated me, Mr. Fidell," said Dhafin still in a sinister cold tone. "You think I'm still a snot kid so don't heed my words."

"I-I. min-ta.. ma-af, Dha-fin..," Lieutenant Fidell was still broken because his neck was still suffocating strongly. "Puni-lah...."

Actually, there's a lot he wants to say about Lieutenant Fidell, but it's not free. The more he spoke, the more his neck hurt.

"Who believes your words? Your life now depends on Uncle Felix's generosity, whether he forgives you or not. If uncle turns out not to forgive you, then I will crush your body to become like flour."

Obviously Lieutenant Fidell was intimidated by Dhafin's remarks just now. And he was getting more and more frightened in the midst of his torment. He did not say anymore, as it became harder to breathe. His large medelic eyes were only able to glance at General Felix with a gaze of supplication.

While General Felix looked at his deputy in error. As long as Lieutenant Fidell partnered with him, Lieutenant Fidell had never taken any action to overstep his authority. He performed royal duties on his orders and consent. This was the first offense Lieutenant Fidell committed. This violation is a fatal offense.

But Lieutenant Fidell had already reported it before King Darian Cashel. Instead of benefiting Dhafin, even his life was threatened. And this was already understood by General Felix and all his troops. Because they have often been in this kind of situation.

"If you are pleased, deliver him from your punishment!" pinta General Felix finally begged.

Without much thought, Dhafin immediately lowered his hand. Along with Lieutenant Fidell's body came down until both of his legs touched the ground. Then Dhafin jerked his right hand to the left. Along with the dense air wrapped around Lieutenant Fidell's body was blown away. And Lieutenant Fidell immediately fell down. Although not dangerous, but quite sick.

Lieutenant Fidell did not rise. He let himself lie on the front lawn floor of General Felix's residence. Hold his breath for a moment. Collecting the debris of his life that was as if it had been scattered.

Meanwhile, Mrs Carissa was curious about this incident. Why was Dhafin so angry with Lieutenant Fidell that he almost killed him? Finally General Felix explained it in outline. Then understand Mrs Carissa. And he could immediately understand Dhafin's worries.

"Of course the palace officials already knew about this, Kanda," said Mrs Carissa pitched with grief at Dhafin's fate. "And you must have known that among the officials of the palace were not a few who were friendly with the Pendar City Officials. And it does not rule out that there may be among those who are vengeful for the disclosure of the crimes of the City Official."

General Felix was silent at the expression of his wife's concern. And that's a big thing. Most likely there are among those who are vengeful. And that means Dhafin's life is already under threat.

As for Ariesha, don't say, the girl is already sad now. Her tears could not be dammed, instantly flowing down her delicate cheeks. She could only hug her mother, trying to calm her sad heart. Sad to think about her brother's fate in the days ahead.

Meanwhile Dhafin had already approached Lieutenant Fidell and handed the two medicinal pills to the handsome young man.

"What did you give me?" ask Lieutenant Fidell who is already sitting on a lethargic seat. But he's still pretty tired. He seemed resigned if after all Dhafin gave him a poison pill.

Somehow his awareness of the safety of Dhafin which is now starting to be threatened is just coming. But it seems like it's too late. He thought Dhafin was like a child in general, pleased that his idleness was reported to His Majesty the King. Even feel proud to have contributed to the kingdom.

But Dhafin was thinking far ahead. Think of safety rather than pleasure. And Lieutenant Fidell understands it now, but it's too late. It's late....

"It's not poison, it's medicine to restore your strength and normalize your nerves, sir," Dhafin said, no longer cold, but calm, even polite.

Lieutenant Fidell took the medicine and took it. Then he spoke with regret.

"You should have just killed me earlier," his sigh was full of regret.

"I'm not a murderer, Lieutenant Lord," said Dhafin still in a calm tone. "By the death of the master carries no meaning whatsoever."

Yes, his death meant nothing. Thinking about it Lieutenant Fidell got worse and worse in regret.

General Felix and his wife and daughter appear to be approaching Dhafin. General Felix suddenly asked.

"Can you do something to solve this problem, Dhafin?"

"Can" Dhafin said after thinking something, "I'll erase Mr. Fidell's memory of me."

"After that?" Miss Carissa asked.

"Uncle will later pretend not to know about my idleness in front of His Majesty," Dhafin expressed his idea. "And when Mr. Fidell was re-examined for his report, he had no recollection."

"But after that," he continued, "Mr Fidell was in danger, accused of false reporting."

"Just do as you plan" said Lieutenant Fidell quickly ahead of General Felix who was about to say. "Not think of me."

Dhafin looked at General Felix and Mrs Carissa. Both husbands and wives signaled consent. Actually the mind of Mrs Carissa had not stopped wondering what Dhafin did to Lieutenant Fidell so that it made the man tormented? But at the moment he can't ask anything.

★☆★☆

Lieutenant Fidell was now standing knee-deep in front of Dhafin with his head slightly bowed, eyes tightly closed. Before long Dhafin put his left palm that had been wrapped in a clear yellow light on Lieutenant Fidell's eel. While everyone who was there saw the strange deeds of Dhafin.

A few breaths passed by the clear yellow rays coming from Dhafin's palm directly wrapped around Lieutenant Fidell's head. And without feeling almost as bad as rice Dhafin do his job.

After that Dhafin jerked his left hand back rather strongly and rather quickly while taping his five fingers to form a fist. Along with the clear yellow light that had wrapped Lieutenant Fidell's head was attracted, it was as if Dhafin was pulling something from inside Lieutenant Fidell's head. Almost at the same time Lieutenant Fidell just fell. Fainted.

"When did he wake up, Dhafin?" ask General Felix. "He's okay, isn't he?"

"It's okay, Uncle. One rice she's a wean."

"After that we go straight to the palace to face His Majesty" General Felix said.

"Actually I don't want to go to the palace, Uncle," said Dhafin. "But what may be possible for this matter to be resolved in the palace...."
