The Lost Prince

The Lost Prince
CHAPTER 63 THE RED ROSE SWORD AND THE RED SILK ROSE BOOK

Time has passed in the afternoon. The sun is crawling down. The light though still bright but no longer sting the skin. While the sky looks bright.

At that time Dhafin and Kayshila were walking down a slightly climbing road. Not long ago they finished walking down the riverbank.

"Sir Dhafin, where will we sleep when it's night?" whinek Kayshila pitched a little spoiled. "We sleep in the wild."

"Patience, Kayshila," said Dhafin. "Hopefully we quickly find the cave before night."

"Are you sure there's a cave at the bottom of a ravine like this?" kayshila said hesitatingly. "Usually caves are on the slopes of mountains."

"I'm sure. Just relax."

Once they have reached the top of the climb, then plastered in front of them a plains wide enough. Seen on the edge of the plain it is lined by a fairly high rock cascade that forms almost like a U leter.

On one side of the lower side there is a climb as high as 6 cubits. On top of the ramp there is a small pedestal. On the inside of the pedataran there is a cavity large enough to resemble a cave.

"Is that the cave there, brother?" kayshila asked while pointing at the place.

"Yes, right," Dhafin said without thinking. "'And I told you there must be a cave."

"Let's go there, brother!" take Kayshila as if impatient.

"Come on."

While holding hands they went straight to the place that was indeed a cave with running rather fast. With agility they ride the steps of the climbs that are like formed by nature.

As soon as it arrived in front of the mouth of the cave Dhafin instantly stopped. Automatic Kayshila followed despite a bit of astonishment.

"Cock stop here, brother?" ask Kayshila in wonder. "Don't just go in?"

"Be careful with the places we just visited" Dhafin said. "Where to know inside there's a beast."

"Oh yes. Keep now how?"

"Let me take the front road" Dhafin said. "You're following behind me. But you stay alert behind you too."

Kayshila was instantly impressed by Dhafin's protective attitude. Really a dreamy young man. He was willing to be a shield for his safety. Would he have to rush to express his liking to this kind-hearted young man?

"Come on!" invite Dhafin who without paying attention to the expression of Kayshila's face that smiled meaningfully.

From the first time he reached the mouth of the cave he never escaped observing the situation in the dim cave. Not dark, but not bright. It was like there was a dim light from within.

"Oh yeah, come on!" kayshila said a little surprised because it had fantasized.

Dhafin stepped in first slowly full of vigilance. While Kayshila walked behind slightly docked with Dhafin's body.

As soon as it had entered the mouth of the cave Kayshila immediately goosebumps. Like there were scents of horror coming out from inside the cave that made him a little afraid. But he believes and must believe Dhafin will protect him in case something does not happen.

Without feeling they have passed the cave passage that is not too long. Now they have been in a cave room that is quite spacious but a little dirty.

On the floor of the cave made of stone scattered dry twigs and animal skeletons following the excrement of animals that had dried up. The walls of the cave that surrounded this dim room were made of stone.

Looking at the skeleton of the animal that Kayshila was in a bit of a shock and immediately embraced Dhafin's arm. But Dhafin quickly calmed him down.

While Dhafin did not feel at all afraid or horrified by the atmosphere of this horror cave. He was already used to a place like this even though everything felt foreign.

★☆★☆

In one corner of the cave floor there is a stone bulge whose top is flat. The height of the stone is about 2 cubits from the floor of the cave. The side is irregular. But it can be estimated that the width and length are the same, which is 2x the hand span.

On it was also dirty, strewn with small stones and dried animal feces. Here is a fairly thick dust.

In the other corner of the cave room is quite indented into there is also a square-shaped stone bulge 4. It is about 2 cubits wide, 4 cubits long.

On the right side of the square stone lay an open stone chest in brownish black. The cover rests on the left side of the stone coffin which is also made of stone.

Well, when he saw something on the square rock, Kayshila was immediately surprised instead of playing. To the point of screaming a little loudly so scared.

Without making a pact, he hugged Dhafin tightly while hiding his face in Dhafin's chest and his eyes closed tightly.

It turns out that on the rock there is a human figure who has lived a skeleton. Wearing long clothes that have been dirty and faded red.

Both of his hands which were already in the form of bones wrapped in cloth his long arms were gradually pushed forward while grasping the sword rod that held a perpendicular position.

The handle of the sword is in the form of a rose carving facing the top. While the tip is attached to the surface of the stone, but not to stick. The red-colored sword emitted a red-colored dim light.

Apparently the cave room became a little bright it turned out to come from the supernatural-powered sword light.

In front of the tip of the sword were 3 different objects. The first object is a carved sword sheath made of blackish-blue metal, similar in color to the handle of the sword.

The 2nd thing is a thick book with a golden yellow color. While the 3rd object is a sheet of pale brown animal skin.

Dhafin looked like there was thick writing written on the front cover of the book. It's just that from his place and Kayshila stood the writing was less clear.

Before going to that horrible place, Dhafin first persuaded Kayshila to stay calm, not to be afraid. The man who looked so terrible it had become a skeleton alias dead. So, there's no need to be afraid.

After Kayshila had calmed down somewhat, Dhafin slowly approached where the human skeleton figure was. Kayshila remained but continued to cling to Dhafin and did not dare to look at the human skeleton.

Once 4 steps away from the square stone, Dhafin stops followed by Kayshila. And he did not dare to look at the human skeleton. Her pretty face was already pale, her body trembling a hint of fear.

Seeing Kayshila suffering from such fear, Dhafin immediately pressed his left palm over Kayshila's head, channeling his supernatural power so that Kayshila would not suffer like that.

When Kayshila calmed down again, Dhafin stepped closer to the square stone. Kayshila walked by his side and was not afraid anymore. Even dared to look at the human skeleton.

"Sir Dhafin, can you tell if the human skeleton is male or female?" kayshila asked after being satisfied to see the monstrous figure.

Then they observed the thick book of golden color. On the cover of the book there is indeed a line of thick writings the name of the book, namely THE RED SILK ROSE BOOK. And under the inscription there is a knit of silk in the form of a red rose.

"What is the Red Silk Rose Book, Brother?" kayshila asked feeling unfamiliar with the name. "Do you know?"

"I've never seen this book before" Dhafin confessed. "But my teacher once said that this book is one of the greatest books in the world."

"In it contains great martial arts and great magic. If someone has mastered this book, not just any swordsman can defeat it."

"But my teacher said," he continued, "the book is exclusively for women. Because the original owner designed the book specifically for women."

"If men learn how?"

"If a man wants to learn it, he must be a woman first. Otherwise he couldn't have studied this book."

"Eh," Kayshila immediately remembered Dhafin's words. "You said the skeleton was a man. Means...."

"That's just my guess, Kayshila," Dhafin said, trying to clarify his remarks. "As for sure I'm not sure yet."

Kayshila did not ask again. And don't want to ask too much. He was afraid he would think everywhere.

If it turns out that the human skeleton is a man like Dhafin thought, he cannot imagine a man turning into a woman in order to learn this strange book.

"You don't have to worry, Kayshila," Dhafin said as if he knew what the sweet girl was thinking. "You are a girl. So it's easy to learn this book."

While talking Dhafin grabbed a sheet of animal skin that turned out to have writing. Then clean the dust that tones the writing.

Kayshila had not responded to Dhafin's remarks because her eyes were busy watching Dhafin's actions. And as soon as Dhafin put the animal's skin back on the rock, Kayshila read the inscription on the skin by muttering.

"I have channeled all my sacred energy into this sword, the RED ROSE SWORD, and have copied the entire contents of the book of my beloved teacher, the Silk Rose Goddess, the RED SILK ROSE BOOK."

"Whoever you are if you are lucky, you can receive this energy of my own. If it succeeds in receiving my magic energy, it is entitled to 2 sacred inheritances from my beloved teacher, namely the Red Rose Sword and the Book of Red Silk Roses."

"I remind you men, don't try to learn this sacred book if you don't want to be like me."

"Whoever you find me a corpse, please perfect my corpse before taking my beloved teacher's legacy."

"Signs from me who suffered to the end of my life, THE SWORD OF THE ROSE."

Finished reading the writing on the leather sheet Dhafin and Kayshila immediately looked at each other. In their minds they immediately felt confident that the human skeleton that nicknamed itself the Rose Sword was a man who turned himself into a woman.

Shortly thereafter, Dhafin told Kayshila to take 3 steps back and he complied. But when Dhafin told her to kneel before the late Sword of the Roses, Kayshila immediately asked in surprise.

"Why should I do that?"

"I will lead you to receive the magic energy that is in that Red Rose Sword."

"Are you sure I'm the lucky one who deserves the sacred inheritance of the Silk Rose Goddess?" kayshila asked doubtfully.

"The destiny of the heavens has led you to this place" Dhafin assured Kayshila. "That means that the destiny of the heavens has chosen you as the lucky one who is entitled to inherit the inheritance of the Goddess of the Silk Rose."

Kayshila was still hesitating. But Dhafin continued to convince him. Kayshila did it too.

Then slowly he sat on his knees as he put his palms together in front of his chest and his head bowed and his eyes closed tightly.

Convincing and rounding the heart to receive energy. Emptying the mind of worldly things. This was all done on the advice of Dhafin. Then Dhafin said.

"Now you listen to what I say, keep following him. Unless you say my word, you continue by saying your name. Understood?"

"Yes, I get it, brother."

"We begin: me...."

"I, Kayshila Dellia...."

Then Dhafin imitates rituals of sorts to receive the magic energy.

"With all humility, with full confidence ready to receive the grace of Her Majesty the Goddess of the Silk Rose."

Not long ago Kayshila finished saying that, instantly the red radiance that wrapped the Red Rose Sword seemed to have slipped from the sword stem. It continued to accelerate very fast towards Kayshila and continued to penetrate into his chest.

Almost simultaneously the skeleton of the Rose Sword instantly fell scattered him over the square stone. And who fell to the cave floor. While the red sword that did not shine red again fell lying on top of the square stone.

Kayshila did not hear the small commotion. Because his soul seemed to have flown out of nowhere.

Not up to 5 breaths all over Kayshila's body from head to toe was immediately wrapped in red light.

Kayshila felt warm all over her body. Then his body trembled finely. As soon as it had passed the rice all over its body turned into heat as it was roasted on the fire.

Sweat immediately flooded all over his body. And his body immediately trembled violently like a high fever. But fortunately, Dhafin was ready to support the power in by sticking his palms behind Kayshila.

After another half-breed of rice, Kayshila was free from suffering. His body was now warm again. His body again trembled finely.

And once the red light had vanished like it had seeped into his body, his condition had now returned to normal. It was just that he felt his body feel so light. His hearing and vision were getting sharper. Inside him was like flowing heat energy but it did not make him disturbed or tormented.

Finally the magic energy of the Rose Sword was successfully received by Kayshila. Dhafin immediately congratulated and was greeted with joy by Kayshila.

After that Dhafin and Kayshila perfected the corpse of the late Sword Rose by inserting it into a stone coffin.

Afterwards, Dhafin raised the chest on a square stone after Kayshila took the sheathed sword and the sacred book of the Goddess of the Silk Rose.

Later in the days Kayshila began to study the Red Silk Rose Book with the guidance of Dhafin. In addition, it also deepened all the knowledge that had been learned from his teacher, Siluam Kalyan.
