The Lost Prince

The Lost Prince
CHAPTER 03. Search

Kaven and Heilda were looking for her children who were lost to the earth. Heilda cried while still not finding the whereabouts of her son who was very guarded. "Relax Heilda" Kaven grabbed the back of the woman's hand, trying to calm her.

"I'm sure they will be found by someone who is good, looking after them, they will not be attacked by bears or starve to death here" he said.

The man left his wife back along with the 3 soldiers he commanded to look after his wife. Others went back inside to continue the search for their missing children. "Sir, this has crossed the line of power. Is it not dangerous for us?" from one of his soldiers.

Kaven remained silent. True, this had already crossed the limit of power he, if he crossed this line, there would be a commotion after that if it was known by the king of the kingdom who had the right to his power now. The man nodded, "Alright, let's go back." he replied, immediately turning back the direction his horse was walking.

"Darling, I'm sorry, I haven't been able to find our children" he murmured in his mind. He felt guilty for his negligence in looking after his children.

...----------------...

On the other hand, Caesar was playing with the bread dough of the woman who discovered. The woman was actually looking after Caesar until he could quickly adapt to his new surroundings.

Jeff is Caesar's nickname from the woman who found him in the closet. "Please, Jeff! I'll take the egg for a minute!" said it. Caesar was clever, if he had been ordered as such he would have been silent and only done as he was told.

Can be seen the child's sweet smile painted on his handsome face. Caesar was busy patting the batter that was left to roast, while waiting for a woman named Felcyia to come.

"Can I get the dough? It looks like it's done" said Felcyia, who asked the boy for permission before taking it. Caesar nodded. Believe me, he understands human language, but he just can't pronounce the sentence.

"Later I'll teach you to talk. Wait here, don't move too much, fall down" Felcyia took the dough from Caesar.

Caesar remained silent, watching Felcyia's movements leave to bake the bread dough he had made. But in other things, the woman still wants to know, who Caesar really is, maybe he was in his store and went into his closet. It doesn't make sense to him.

Felcyia returns after putting her bread dough into the roasting. The woman chose to switch to the cashier. The day had begun to noon, and many buyers had come to his bakery. Caesar ordered him to stay on the floor while playing with toys that had been prepared by the woman. Thankfully, none of the buyers found Caesar's presence. The man seemed to be engrossed in himself with his world, making the woman feel relieved.

As the day grew darker, time went by as if so fast. Caesar is now at Felcyia's house, the woman who found him. The woman looked painstaking and affectionate while guarding Caesar. Caesar who did not act much and not easily fussy made the woman easier to take care of it.

The toddler is now eating being fed by his adoptive mother at this time. Because he still could not eat alone, inevitably Felcyia had to help him eat, while he also joined the dinner. At the last mouthful Caesar asked already, his stomach was already full, as if it could not hold any more food.

Caesar whined when his drink was never given, he called the name 'mama' because only that sentence he could make. "Yes, wait a minute, Jeff" said the woman. Caesar quietly returned slowly, the toddler understood his gratitude.

Felcyia brought him a glass of water for Caesar. With enthusiasm the toddler immediately sipped her slowly. The woman just smiled tipi staring at Caesar softly.

"Your biological mother must be looking for you, son"

On the other hand Louis is now having dinner helped by the old man who treated him earlier. His body wanted to break as he moved it. "Slowly, chew it. No one will ask for it" said the old man with a soft tone.

"After I recover, can I go back to find my sister?" asked Louis hesitatingly.

The man sitting in front of Louis gave a small nod, with a faint smile. "May, but never go back through the forest. If you still haven't found it, go back home, yes" Louis nodded in understanding with his happy expression. It can be seen clearly the old man who was not far from him also smiled when he saw Louis smiling happily.

"So do you remember where you came from?" ask the man again. Louis was silent for a moment, his brain trying to think where it came from. It's not stupid, it's completely forgotten where it came from. It feels like amnesia.

"As far as I can remember, I'm a royal boy, and my sister is too. We are both separated by the forest" Louis replied hesitantly. The man nodded in understanding, there was no look of surprise on his face, as he had guessed at the beginning. The aura of Louis who looked dashing and brave, and his good looks exceeded the limits of an ordinary citizen, very showing the characteristics of a noble child at that time.

"All right, I'll explain. You are now in the kingdom of Liondardo, under the name of king Liondardo and his wife named Nathania. If you've really improved and recovered, I'll leave it to the king, to be given permission to find the origin of your kingdom, Louis" she explained, according to Louis.

"Can I come here once in a while when I'm back in my kingdom?" The man asked in a hesitant tone as well as softly. He meant to say that, even though he would be separated from this family, Louis wanted to thank them for treating him when he was like there was no hope of life anymore, or dying.

"Come, Louis. The laws of the kingdom will vary with each change of king. But I hope to be a good leader to his people, so that they love you too" he replied as he stroked the young man's blond hair gently in front of him.

"Thank you for taking care of me and treating me" Louis this time seriously. Although not long ago he was here, but it feels like the man is very burdened the family of the man he does not know it at all.

"No need to thank me. That's our duty. We found you, just like we had to take care of you too. Rest, it's already night" Louis again could only nod in understanding. The man who had helped to bribe her now left Louis alone in the room. Louis slowly confirmed his sleeping position, then shortly afterwards he fell asleep in his dream.
