The useless regret

The room was filled with silence. Leana, Aaron and Geo both fell silent. Aaron breathes a sigh of relief, as Leana does not tell him that Yuma and Yumi are Geo's children, while Leana is wary of her decision. Similarly, Geo was confused by what was happening in front of him.

Obviously Yuma and Yumi are very similar to him, but Leana says Yuma Yumi is not her son, reinforced with Aaron's remarks. Geo didn't really understand the USG paper he found at the time, and was lucky that Leana could use it as an excuse.

"Aaron, thank you for coming. I want to rest." Leana brushed Aaron away subtly, making Aaron turn his head immediately until Aaron nodded. The man immediately got up from his seat.

"If you want to spare Yuma and Yumi, you can go back to my house. At least there you're safe" Aaron said with a shamelessness, while Leana just smiled bitterly. Not feeling that Aaron's words just now were so hurtful to Leana, she was like a discarded piece of trash then picked up again. However, of course he was only able to disguise it with a smile.

"Tilda needs to, thank you" Leana said.

Aaron who was about to walk to leave, immediately stopped his steps then he turned his head to the surroundings, looking for Yuma and Yumi.

"May I see Yuma and Yumi?" ask Aaron.

"Maybe this is a little too much, but may I ask you a favor?" leana asked until Aaron nodded.

"Please don't greet Yuma and Yumi in the future if you accidentally cross the road" Leana said.

"Why?" ask Aaron. He did not accept Leana's orders.

"For eight years, they thought you were his father, they thought you were his home. What you said yesterday seems too sudden for Yuma and Yumi, until now I can still see the wounds on my two children. If you continue like this, they will never be able to heal from their wounds. If you keep coming to them, they'll keep remembering what you said. My son just needs time to forget everything" said Leana who hit him so hard, skinning his entire body. Aaron was like a helpless person when he heard Leana's words, until in the end Aaron nodded then after that the man walked to get out of the apartment occupied by Leana and her two children.

Geo leaned his body back, he asked all his men to get out of the car, because he wanted to be alone. After getting out of Leana's apartment, it feels like Geo is really not care. Expectations are not in proportion to reality. Leana's expectations would be to hug her or she would hug Leana, with her hoping to see her child, hugging her child so tightly, but reality was not like that.

Leana was married by another man and her son was dead. Geo is also confused about whether to believe Leana's words or not, because he feels he has an inner bond with them.

When daydreaming, the phone next to Geo rang. One call came in to wake Geo up from his daydream, until the man reached into his pocket and then took a cell phone, then after that saw who called, it was Claudia until she immediately picked it up.

"Claudia" said Geo.

Claudia was silent across the street. "Have you met Leana?" ask Claudia.

"Already," he answered listlessly.

"Geo, are you okay? Why do you sound weak?" claudia asked who was worried about Geo. The woman tried to lift her heart. Don't ask how sick Claudia is when she asks where Geo is meeting another woman.

"He's married, he says our son is gone, but I can see that the child I saw with Leana was my son, they were twins and they were very similar to me. Claudia what should I do?" geo asked, subconsciously having hurt Claudia.

Claudia smiled bitterly over there, then she tried to harden her heart. "Just try to investigate slowly," Claudia said until Geo nodded his head.

"How's Rea? Is his condition okay?" ask Geo.

Claudia was silent again. "They're fine" he replied.

"Didn't he ask me?" Geo curious.

"Yes, he asked you, it's just that I said you were going abroad to work," said Claudia, "yes, Geo take care of your health. Do not think too much, do not eat too much spicy. Remember you have acid reflux, hope your business is done soon and hopefully you can bring Leana here."

Claudia stared at the food that had been served with a pushy look, maybe this was the last moment she felt the cooking of her mother-in-law. Although there are so many problems he suffered, the pain he experienced, but there is still a little gratitude that Claudia feels, which is able to get in-laws as good as Maudy and also as good as Steve.

"Why are you daydreaming? Let's eat" said Maudy, until at last Claudia nodded and then she put Maudy's soup into the rice.

Maudy looked at Claudia closely. He understood very well how this woman felt. Although Claudia does not tell her complaints, but Maudy believes that at this time, Claudia is feeling tremendous pain because of her son's behavior. He had also called Geo, but Geo did not pick up his call.

"Mommy is so good. Thank you" said Claudia. He said that by trying desperately not to cry. Time shows at eight o'clock. Leana finished her cooking activity for the dinner of her two children. From now on, Leana's feelings raged, plus Yuma and Yumi's questions were curious about Geo. The twins were curious about Geo, because the mother called Geo a brother, while all this time they never met and plus Aaron who blatantly always greeted Yuma and Yumi.

Not only that, Leana was scared and confused. How to deal with Geo in the future? He was sure Geo would not give up and would find out about Yuma and Yumi.

Leana dropped the spoon she was holding when she opened the door and saw who was in front of her, a figure she had longed for none other than Steve, her foster father.

"Uncle Steve," said Leana. It was like a dream for him, Geo came and now he is visited by Steve. Geo's arrival worries him, but not Steve. He's very happy.

The middle-aged man's eyes glazed over as he looked at his adopted daughter. He had not expected that he would find Leana after all these years of searching for Leana.

"Leana," call Steve.

Hearing Steve's voice calling out to him, Leana immediately ran and then hit the body of the father, then after that hugged Steve so tightly, as well as Steve who replied no less tightly.

The crying of a pair of fathers and adopted children broke, they cried bitterly to vent the intense longing.

"Mommy." Suddenly Yumi's voice came from behind, until Steve turned to Yumi and then he let go of his embrace.

"Leana," called Steve, looked at Leana with a questioning look, and it seemed that Leana understood what her foster father meant, until she finally nodded.

Instantly Steve went straight inside, passed Leana's body and then bent his legs equalizing with the grandson. Seeing Yumi's face reminded her of her twin sister, they were very similar.

Suddenly, Yumi took one step back because she felt alien to Steve who suddenly came before her.

"Yumi, what's wrong?" Suddenly Yuma's voice came from behind, until Steve also turned to Yuma. Really, it feels like Steve's body is really slow when he realizes his grandson is a twin.

Yuma and Yumi looked at Steve without blinking. This morning they had the arrival of a very foreign Geo in their eyes, and now they had the arrival of another stranger. Of course, this is very strange for Yuma and Yumi, because from the time they were babies, they never met their mother's family.

"Yuma, Yumi," call Leana.

"Come say hello to Grandpa" Leana said.

"This is our grandfather?" ask Yumi.

"This is your grandfather" Leana said again.

"Hello, Grandpa" he said and immediately Steve immediately embraced his two grandchildren.

Time shows at eleven o'clock. Yuma and Yumi had fallen asleep and now Steve and Leana were in the living room next to each other. From that moment on, Leana looked down not daring to look at Steve. Steve doesn't speak either, because he knows his adopted daughter is nervous.

Steve held Leana's hand until Leana raised her head. "Pa-paman, forgive me. I-I didn't mean to lie to Pamam, '" Leana said stammeredly

"Why are you hiding this from all of us? Why did you go to Leana? Did you know we lost you so much? We've been looking for you for years, don't you love us?" ask Steve.

Leana hugged Steve. She shed her tears. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry" said Leana, who was able to control herself. The beautiful woman re-stirred her body.

"You've been taking care of the house and they've been alone?" ask Steve, digging for information.

"No Uncle, actually when I left, I worked in a cosmetics office and out of nowhere, I ended up marrying my boss" Leana replied

Steve's eyes were round when he heard the words married. "Where is your husband now?” tanyakanya.

"We decided to get a divorce" Leana replied honestly.

Steve is shocked to see Leana getting a divorce. "Did anyone treat you badly? Did he hurt you?" Steve again asked, and he asked in an impatient tone demanding an answer.

"Why are you getting divorced?" Steve curious.
