A necklace

Maudy prepared breakfast while daydreaming. I don't know what the woman was thinking, but she definitely felt something strange about her own heart, and she didn't know why it could be like this either.

Maudy shook her head, she continued her breakfast cooking show for Steve who was still at her house.

Fifteen minutes later, breakfast was ready. Maudy immediately took her cooking to the dining table where Steve was waiting there.

"I'm sorry I was just cooking this" said Maudy, who had a plate filled with sandwiches and other dishes

"No problem, it's delicious, too" said Steve, who took the sandwich off the plate and devoured it.

"Steve, when are you going back to Russia? Mommy keeps calling and asking me questions 'cause you didn't pick up the call?" ask Maudy, who also feeds her breakfast.

Steve chuckles. "Let it go, Mommy would want to talk about the company. I'm tired of taking care of it, so just let Gina take over about it" Steve replied lightly.

For years Steve led the company of his father, and now he wants to take a break from his activities by spending time with Geo.

Therefore, now the company led by Gina who seemed to start giving up, until Gina urged the mother to send Steve back. That's why Steve won't pick up Elsa's call.

Maudy nodded her head, a sign of understanding with Stev's reply.

"Oh yeah, how's your engagement prep going? Is everything going well?" ask Steve. He could have spoken in a relaxed tone as if he was really Maudy's friend, when in fact the man's heart throbbed in pain. He felt as if there was a chunk of rock hitting the heart.

Maudy who was eating a sandwich, shook her head. "Richard took care of it, so I don't know anything" Maudy replied.

"You feel like you're not excited, when you're getting engaged in a minute?” stev asked as he looked inside Maudy's face.

"So, I'm just following Richard."

"Mommy!" Suddenly, Geo's voice came from behind. Apparently, the boy was ready in his uniform.

"You're ready apparently? Let's have breakfast, Mommy has made it for us" Steve told Geo.

"I'll have breakfast later, get me to school. I'll be late."

"Wait in the car, Daddy will take you," said Steve who got up from his seat.

"Finish your breakfast, Steve!” maudy's word when Stev got up from his seat

"Later on, Geo will be late" Steve said. Maudy shook her head when she saw the man's behavior, and she continued her breakfast.

"Why, is there something you're thinking?" richard asked as he was having breakfast with the now daydreaming Leana.

Leana nodded then. "No, I'm fine" he replied, but Richard could understand that there was a burden being borne by his daughter.

Actually, Richard knew very well what the princess was thinking, but he did not want to extend the conversation, because if he kept asking then he would have trouble finding Leana's answer.

Richard and Maudy's engagement was getting closer, and the heavier the dependents of the soon-to-be sixteen-year-old.

Pieces of memories in the past were still clearly imprinted in Leana's memories that were impossible for her to forget just like that. In the past, she loved Maudy so much and when she heard that she was getting married to Richard, she was happy too.

However, for some reason, over time she did not want Maudy to be her mother for reasons she could not say.

Not long after, the sound of footsteps approaching made Leana and Richard turn their heads. It turned out to be Matteo.

Seeing the man, Leana immediately sped up her breakfast then left the dining table without saying goodbye to Richard.

"Why? Is there something you're thinking?" geo asked Leana while they were in the field. She asked because Leana kept daydreaming.

"Can I tell you?" ask Leana. Really, she could tell Maudy little things, but not this time.

"Say, why?" Geo looked curiously at Leana.

Leana turned towards Geo. He had just wanted to open a conversation about what happened, but at the same time he felt unable to do so, even though their relationship was also close enough as a brother in general.

"It's okay, let's go back to class."

Maudy looked ahead with astonishment. The hotel hall that Richard had booked for their engagement party was very beautiful.

"Do you like it?" ask Richard.

Maudy. "I love it, it's so fancy" Maudy said. His eyes sparkled when he saw what was in front of him.

"It doesn't even look like an engagement party anymore, but a wedding party" she said, again giving Richard a chuckle.

"I'm going to give you a more grand wedding than this" Ricard replied.

"After this, let's go to my office. Come with me to work," said Richard, embracing Maudy's shoulder. Maudy nodded and they walked out of the hotel.

"Have you called your ex-mother and father-in-law?" ask Richard when they're in the car.

"Have it, and they'll be here soon too."

Richard nodded his head.

After a long journey, Richard finally reached the company. This time, he had indeed appeared in front of the employees until the mysterious impression no longer stuck to him.

All of his workers already knew about Richard's wedding plans, but some of them still believed in the rumors.

Richard now opened the door and allowed Maudy to enter. The woman sits on the couch, while Richard now occupies the work chair.

Just then, a call came into Richard's phone that instantly picked him up.

"What's? Leana's meeting you?" richard asked, he was so shocked when he heard what that person said across the street.

Richard then sighed. He had expected that his son would do this. While Maudy was fiddling with the phone, she immediately looked at the man in surprise at his screams.

"About Leana, let me talk to her" Richard said. The man immediately turned off his call.

'Leana, why did you have to go so far?' inner Richard.

In the past, maybe Leana did not dare to meet someone because she was a child, but now her daughter is big to be able to invite the figure to meet.

"Richard, what's wrong?" ask Maudy.

Richard then smiled. "No, there's just a little problem with Leana, and I'll talk to her later" she replied.

Maudy nodded too. Although he wanted to know, but he did not intend to force let alone interfere in Richard's affairs if it was the man himself who refused to tell stories.

Leana was silent at a bus stop. The girl had just pulled out her grunts at the person she hated so much. She was already very stressed from not being able to speak to Maudy directly, let alone to Richard. Then the only way is to talk directly to the person who made him sick.

But apparently, the response of the man was so devastating Leana made her feel like crying as hard as she could. When they met earlier, he recalled the moments in which his mother died.

Though Leana hopes, talking directly to the person will be the solution, but the opposite happens. He accidentally meets her without Richard's knowledge because he believes the man will ban her.

Suddenly, the sound of a car was heard until Leana turned to look at the vehicle that turned out to be Steve's. The man intends to pick up Geo, but he first sees Richard's daughter crying at the bus stop until she stops the speed of her car.

Stev got out of the car, and Leana wiped her tears when Steve got out of the car. The girl smiled making Maudy's ex-husband frown.

“Leana what are you doing?" ask Stev.

“I'm out of my friend's house, Uncle," replied Leana.

"Come, let's go get Geo, after that uncle will take you home," Steve asked.

Leana nodded. He asked the school to go home first. He also asked the driver to leave him after meeting the man, not wanting to return home for a while.

Leana was convinced that Richard would give lectures and conduct various defense that made Leana very sick.

"What's going on? Do you have a problem?" ask Steve gently .

Leana shakes. "Nothing, Uncle. Uncle, can I come to uncle's house?” ask Leana. Stev nodded, he did not ask anymore because it seemed like this teenage girl was having a severe problem.

Stev decides to start the engine and run the car, so they arrive at school, where Geo is waiting for him.

"I just happened to meet Uncle Steve" Leana replied.

After a long journey, finally the car that Steve drove to the destination.

"May I have permission to take a break in the guest room?" leana asked, it felt like the teenage girl's body had weakened, so it felt like she wanted to lay herself down.

"Sure, rest. Uncle will order food for you."

Leana got out of the car and went inside and walked towards the room she had always occupied if staying at Steve's house.

"I think there's something strange about Leana" Geo said after Leana's death.

"Let's go, maybe he's got a problem" Steve replied.

"What's that about Mommy and Uncle Richard's wedding?" ask Geo.

"Have no adult business, let's go into the house."

Richard got out of the car, the man rushed into the house to talk to Leana after earlier driving Maudy home.

Unfortunately, Richard is unaware that Leana is at Steve's house.

"Leanna! Leana!" call Richard to look for the girl, until soon the waiter comes in.

"Sorry sir, Miss Leana has not come home,” said the waiter

"What?!" Richard suffocated in shock upon hearing the servant's words. He was immediately confused considering that the girl should have come home since an hour ago.

Richard reached into his pocket and fiddled with his phone. She thought that after Leana met someone at the cafe, she went straight home, but in fact she was not home.

"Where is Leana? Didn't you pick her up?" ask Richard the driver across the street.

"After coming from the cafe, Miss Leana asked me not to follow her," the driver replied, causing Richard to rub a rough face.

Richard closes the call and runs out to find Leana.

Richard now drives his car at full speed to the tomb of Katrina, who is none other than his late wife. She wished Leana was there.

Eventually, Richard arrived at the cemetery. He rushed down and went in there but alas, he didn't see Leana there.

Richard was confused. He then went back into his pocket, picked up his cell phone and called Leana. However, the girl did not pick up her call making Ricard really frustrated. She was really afraid something might happen to Leana

In the end, Richard turned around then walked out of the burial area. He chooses to look for Leana at her friends' place.

When Richard was already in the car, a call came to his number making him sigh when he found out that it was Leana who called.

"Leana, where are you? Did you know Daddy was worried about you?" rickety asked in panic.

"I'll stay at Aunt Maudy's, don't catch up with me." After saying that, Leana also turned off her call which again made Richard rub a rough face.

Richard leaned his body back to rest for a moment, then closed his eyes.

"You have the heart to lie to me, why did you get your heart to do that to me?!" yell Katrina.."why did you have to sacrifice me?!"

Katrina looked at Richard with anger.

"Stay where you are and I'll explain everything" Richard replied, trying to speak heart to heart together

However, Katrina kept retreating and finally fell silent her back touched the balcony

"Katrina Listen to me, I can —"

"Close your mouth and aaaaaaaa!" Katrina screamed as her legs slipped and fell from the 4th floor.

Richard instantly opened his eyes, a cold lightness already flooding his body. Apparently unconsciously, Ricard fell asleep and the dream came back.

Steve got out of the house to go to the mall by himself. He's going to buy Maudy and Richard a wedding present. The man did feel endless pain considering that the woman he loved, would belong to another man in a moment.

However, Steve still wants to give gifts to the woman he loves. The principle of the man now is, as long as Maudy is happy then that is enough.

Until finally, after a long journey, the car that was driven by Steve arrived at a fairly large mall.

Steve got out of the car and walked inside. He also now looks around jewelry, until the choice fell on a pair of rings suitable for Richard and Maudy.

After finding what he was looking for, Steve asked the waiter to wrap it up.

As Steve waited for payment, his gaze suddenly fixed on a very beautiful necklace made him immediately approach the object.

Steve then asked the waiter to take it. Now, he smiled when he saw the necklace that he felt would definitely fit Maudy.

"Please pack this one too" said Steve who eventually bought the necklace for Maudy. Not as a gift of her engagement to Richard, but as a sign that she loves the woman.

After finishing choosing a gift, Steve decided to come to the cafe in the mall to enjoy coffee.

Steve who was already inside, now sits down and orders coffee and some dishes available in the menu book.

While waiting, Steve looked out to notice the people passing by. It was crowded, but his heart felt lonely. The man smiled bitterly as he suddenly imagined that he would be with Maudy.

Steve once dared to imagine Maudy would be his again, but he was struck by the fact that said that soon, the woman actually belonged to Richard who was very good also close to Geo.

After her marriage, Maudy decided to stay at Richard's house. While Steve, he has no intention of moving again to Russia, and remains settled in his current home with Geo.

Geo once said that he wanted to stay with her, and chose to commute if he wanted to meet Maudy.

Therefore, despite knowing that Maudy would be owned by someone else, he still chose to be in Germany. At least he can still see Maudy even though he clearly can't have the woman.

Fifteen minutes later, Steve's order arrived. He immediately sipped coffee while daydreaming.

Until finally, after quite a long time there, Steve's activities in the cafe were finished. The man got up from his seat and then walked outside intending to go home after paying.

"Where are you from?" maudy asked when she had just finished teaching Geo and Leana at Steve's house.

Steve smiled then approached Maudy, then handed her a paper bag containing the necklace she had bought earlier.

Steve deliberately gave the necklace now, while for the gift of his engagement with Richard he will give at the event later.

"What is this, Steve?" ask the curious Maudy.

"When I look at it, I feel like it would look pretty if you put it on. But, if you don't want to use it, it's okay, just keep it," Steve said.

Maudy reached into the mini paper bag and then opened the contents. "Wow beautiful" said Maudy.

"You like it?" tanyakanya. Steve's face was very happy when Maudy seemed to like his necklace.

Maudy took the necklace and gave it to Steve. "Please put that on my neck."

"Maudy, are you sure? Will Richard not be angry?" ask Steve.

"No, why should he be angry?"

Maudy turned around, letting Steve put a necklace around her neck. The man's heart was beating twice as fast. He's one side he's happy, but on the other he feels claustrophobic.

"It's over" said Steve until Maudy turned to him.

"It's so good."
