The Love of a Mr. Nauder

The Love of a Mr. Nauder
Grievous

Maudy woke up from her sleep. The woman immediately looked at the side making her able to see the clock that showed five o'clock in the morning. Geo is not awake yet.

Maudy got out of bed. He decided to exercise. Then when he came out, the woman was shocked when she saw the figure of the man sleeping on the sofa.

"Wait, how did he get home?" lirih Maudy, because to his knowledge, the journey from yesterday to his home took two hours. "Ah maybe he took a taxi" he said.

Just as Maudy was about to leave, she undoed her intentions when she saw the man's legs appear reddened. "Is he on foot?"

The fact is that Steve walked for five hours. The man did so, as he felt it was impossible to continue to remain silent there. During the journey he made, he repeatedly strayed.

However, relying on a piece of his memory that he could still rely on, he managed to arrive at the ex-wife's house. Not only that, he even walked in the rain, as a result he returned in a drenched state making his body temperature rise.

Maudy shut her mouth in surprise when she saw Steve's pale face. "Steve," call him.

Steve opened his eyes for a moment before closing. Maudy groped the man's forehead to let him know he had a fever.

Maudy passed from there to pick up her phone and call the doctor.

***

"How's he doing, Doc?" maudy asked when the doctor had managed to infuse Steve's hand.

"The patient is dehydrated and has a high fever" the doctor said.

After a short chat, the doctor passed to get out of Maudy's house after giving a prescription.

After taking the doctor to the terrace, Maudy went back into her ex-husband's room. He walked with slow steps towards the bed, then bowed himself at Steve's side.

'Steve, if you hadn't treated me so badly at the time, I might have agreed to fix it and make it all up from the beginning. But baby, the wound in my heart is too deep to agree with your wish, Maudy's inner self.

stev's wounds were deep enough and despite seeing Steve like this, he was only worried and felt nothing more.

As Maudy daydreams, Steve opens his eyes. He gently pulled the woman's hand until she regained her senses and asked, "Ah, are you awake?"

Although in a state of fever, Steve remembered his mission to keep the woman's heart, until when it was realized he immediately pulled Maudy's hand, but in his heart he was eager to curse and rampage, because this woman dared to leave him alone.

"Are you hungry?" ask Maudy.

"Well, can you bribe me?" Steve asked back, when in fact he was a little energetic, but he pretended to limp for Maudy to pay attention to him.

"In the meantime, I'll make you some porridge." Maudy got up from her seat and walked out of the room to the kitchen to make porridge.

Half an hour passed, the door opened and Steve immediately changed his expression to look sick. But suddenly, he rounded his eyes when it turned out that the one who entered his room was a servant.

"Where's Maudy?"

"Mrs Maudy is taking care of Geo, sir, so let me feed you."

"No, I can eat by myself" replied Steve.

***

Maudy went into Steve's room, which was sleeping. The woman brought an ointment to treat her ex-husband's flushed legs.

Maudy sat herself in the bed, then slowly rubbed the ointment into Steve's legs, causing the man to wake up and grimace. "God."

His ringing looked in pain, when in fact it was a form of annoyance to his ex-wife, because it had made him wake up. But luckily, he can still think logically to be able to dampen the emotions he feels.

"Your feet will heal quickly with this" said Maudy.

Suddenly, Steve's heart beats twice as fast when Maudy suddenly blows his leg gently because he knows that the man is in pain.

What Maudy did was simple, but it managed to make Steve feel bad. The man shook his head slowly, refraining from being enchanted by Maudy.

Although his brain said that, Steve's eyes told the opposite when he saw Maudy who was justifying the hair.

"Steve," Maudy called Steve and immediately changed his expression.

"Do you want to eat now?" maudy asked, because now time has shown the lunch hour.

Steve shakes. "Maudy, my head is hurting. Can you please clear my head?"

Maudy bit her lip.

"Oh Maudy, you made me this way. If you hadn't left me ...." Steve hung up his words as Maudy moved next to him.

Maudy then stroked the man's hair softly. Simple treatment that again makes Steve feel unbecoming. His heart was beating so fast.

Nauder smiled at the message sent by his men, a photo in which Maudy was stroking Steve's hair.

Apparently, Nauder's men photographed them from a window which, after success, was delayed, sent to Nauder.

"You why?" elsa asked as Nauder smiled alone.

Nauder was gently pulling his wife's hand. "Look at this, darling,” Elsa took her husband's phone then smiled.

"What's wrong?" Suddenly, the voice of Gina who just came home from work. "What's wrong? Why do you guys look happy?" ask again.

Elsa shows Nauder's cell phone to her daughter. However, instead of being happy, Gina actually felt strange. "Are you sure this man has changed?"

"Gina, what do you mean?" ask Elsa.

"Mom, we know Steve more than anyone. He's manipulative, so how could he possibly turn on Maudy that fast."

Nauder and Elsa fell silent at the thought of Gina's words.

"But if you want to believe in Steve, please believe it" said Gina, who regretted disturbing the happiness of her parents.

"Yes, I went upstairs first." Gina passed from there and walked towards the elevator to then go to her room.

Time passed so quickly that it did not feel like three months had passed since Steve lived in India. Then, during that time he never stopped approaching Maudy so that the woman was destroyed.

But unfortunately, Maudy was not affected by anything Steve did.

However, although Steve did not succeed in breaking Maudy, but he managed to calm Geo until now, Geo was not too close to his own mother.

Even if Maudy wants to take her to school, Geo always refuses and wants to go with Steve. The boy also refused to eat Maudy's cooking.

Currently, Steve was staring at Maudy's back who was persuading Geo to be escorted by him. However, the boy remained reluctant. Until finally Maudy can only resign.

***

"When are we meeting Mommy Alya?" geo asked while they were in the car.

Steve stroked his son's hair. "Kita's going to see Mommy Alya soon, but you promise, you won't tell Mommy Maudy what we're planning?"

"I promise."

"You also should not eat Mommy Maudy's cooking anymore because it is dangerous and very toxic" said Steve who again doctrin Geo.

"Well, Daddy," Geo replied with his police.

Steve again stroked Geo's head. He smiled happily because his struggle for three months, was not in vain. Now, he no longer needed to persuade Maudy because he himself had already managed to take his son's heart.

Maudy sat herself on the couch. The woman suddenly felt tight given that it had been a week since the Geo changes were so drastic.

Geo never slept with him as usual.

Maudy leaned her body back. The woman's gaze was straight forward with teary eyes. Turns out, being ignored by her son was incredibly painful.

Actually, Geo was not completely away. The boy was still willing to talk and even smiled at her, but still he felt lost when he suddenly refused something from Maudy.

Maudy sighed. "Maybe this is just my feeling Maudy" he said softly.

***

At four o'clock in the afternoon, Maudy decides to cook her son's favorite meal, hoping Geo will eat it.

Although in fact, Maudy felt a little worried because during the week, Geo was reluctant to eat his cooking.

An hour later, Maudy was done struggling in the kitchen. He brought his cooking to the table, and before long he heard a voice from outside that made him smile knowing that Geo had come home.

"Geo" called Maudy who approached Steve as well as Geo who took a step back while holding his father's hand, as Maudy was seen stretching out his arms preparing to hug.

The smile on Maudy's lips instantly faded. "Geo," he called her limp.

"Hi Mommy" Geo said with a smile.

At first glance it seems that Geo has not changed, but still for Maudy as her mother, she feels something strange to the boy.

"Let's hug Mommy" said Steve as he quietly tightened his grip on Geo's hand tightly, hinting not to get close to Maudy

"Let's go Daddy, let's go in" Geo asked.

"Maybe Geo is tired, Maudy," replied Steve who then followed in his son's footsteps. After passing through Maudy, he grinned.

Maudy quickly turned around following Geo. "Geo, shall we eat first? Mommy has cooked your favorite food" he said.

"So I had dinner with Daddy at the restaurant, Mom."

Maudy's body again felt limp hearing Geo's subtle rejection.

"I'm sorry, Maudy. I didn't know you were cooking for Geo, so I took him to the restaurant because I knew he was hungry, let alone that there were sports lessons at school" Steve said.

Maudy smiled bitterly then nodded. The woman's eyes were glazed. Steve saw that and he felt sorry. But before long, he nodded.

***

Time shows at nine o'clock Maudy standing in front of Geo's room. He heard the laughter of the boy and Steve alternating. Really, he felt like he wanted to come in and play, but he abandoned his intentions

Maudy chose to stay in front of his son's room, because every time he tried to play with them, Geo always forbade to come to play.

Maudy's pain grew - so when she heard the sound of laughter blaring from inside. He couldn't have imagined if Geo had really gone out of his life.

Maudy rubbed a clear grain on the cheek then went from there to calm down.

***

This is where Maudy was, in a lake not too far from his house. He deliberately went away secretly to be unknown to Nauder's men because he really wanted to be alone. She wanted to cry without anyone knowing.

Maudy may be strong through anything that happens in her life, but really she is weak if the exam that comes is related to Geo.

Maudy bent her legs. The woman's thoughts were buana in the past, where she recalled the times where she was still living with her parents.

They were not wealthy, but he never lived a life of deprivation, because his father worked in the Nauder family which guaranteed all the needs of the Maudy family.

However, everything changes when the father dies and before long, followed by the mother makes him live apart from his sister.

Maudy is down. The woman cries in shock at the overwhelming pain at the thought of Geo actually moving away from her life.

***

Steve comes out of Geo's room happy to remember that the more days he gets, the farther he is from Maudy. Steve sat himself down on the couch and reached into his pocket to pick up the phone.

Steve fiddles with his phone and calls Alya who doesn't pick up her call.

An hour passed, Steve decided to get up and walk towards his son's room, because indeed these few days, Geo always wanted to sleep with him.

As Steve passes through Maudy's room, he is speechless when he sees his wide-open door leading him straight in to confirm the whereabouts of his ex-wife who was not there.

"Why am I looking for him? Though I have nothing to do with him," said Steve who decided to continue his steps to Geo's room.

As he was about to open his son's room, Steve suddenly recalled seeing the shattered highlight of Maudy when Geo refused to eat his cooking.

Steve shook his head, throwing away his concern for Maudy.

***

time showed me twelve nights when Steve, who had just finished playing the game, decided to stop because he was already sleepy.

Steve got out of bed and then came out of the room to get a drink. As he passed through Maudy's room, he was again wracked with curiosity due to the position of the door that was still open, and that meant that the woman had not yet returned home.

"Where is he really?" steve asked with a sudden worry in his heart.

However, as usual, Stev's ego immediately appears, so he does not care about Maudy

Elsewhere, Maudy is still sitting in the lake, enjoying the cold night breeze that became a friend she enjoyed the sadness. It felt like he was so reluctant to go home, that he decided to stay at the lake all night

Suddenly, someone put a jacket on Maudy's back that made her look straight back.
