The questionable look of a look adorned Jesslyn's pretty face now. After accompanying Verlin in the hospital for treatment, he immediately drove the Jeaven manager home.

Of course, by being escorted by a driver because the snow is enveloping the corner of the city. How dare he come out alone when winter comes. And for the terrible events of a few days ago is enough to be a lesson.

"You live here?" Jesslyn tries to treat her curiosity while looking around Verlin's room, which is part of the apartment owned by Jeaven.

Verlin smiled knots followed by lips that began to move. "Yes, but not for long. Jeaven asked me to occupy her apartment, "the woman explained, landing her butt on the lip of her bed.

"Do you need anything?" Jesslyn immediately took the initiative to ask when she realized Verlin's eyeball motion was like looking for something.

"I'm thirsty, can you help me?" pinta Verlin's. At times his face seemed to grimace withstanding the pain in the wound on his left hand due to a hard water attack at a press conference this morning.

Luckily Verlin was wearing a thick cold leather coat while trying to make himself a shield from the attack. So the impact of the injuries received did not endanger his life. However, the wound on his hand is quite painful and will certainly leave a mark.

"it's drink." Jesslyn thrust a glass of water at Verlin.

"Thank you."

Verlin gulped slowly at the clear liquid until the toilet. Then put it on the nightstand. A second later he seemed to breathe. He seemed to know with Jesslyn's mind clearly.

"Just a form of caring for fellow humans," said Verlin who again broke the atmosphere.

"ee? Meaning what?" Jesslyn certainly did not understand right away. Verlin's words were ambiguous.

"Jeaven asked me to occupy her empty apartment just out of pity. Jeaven's good treatment of me has been friend-only and doesn't involve any special feelings between a man and a woman." Apparently Verlin tried to shake off a prejudice in Jesslyn's heart.

A moment Jesslyn still clenched her lips to make no sound. However, the language of his eyes seemed to be assessing taste. The lines of expression on Verlin's face seemed to say all, making a sense of tightness suddenly struggle in the chest cavity.

Breathing sounds along with the sight thrown in any direction. "But I know you're expecting that special flavor to be there for you" Jesslyn said a little quietly.

Verlin nodded softly at Jesslyn's telling. The wrinkles between the two base of his eyebrows seemed to represent a question mark. "You know that I-" He seemed hesitant to continue the word. Honestly, the woman did not want any heart to hurt.

Jesslyn took a deep breath and took a sitting position next to Verlin. Hands are invited to fold in front of the chest along with a bright view.

"I've known it a long time ago. That's why I've always felt uncomfortable seeing your closeness to Jeaven. I'm jealous. And I'm afraid you can take his attention away from me" Jesslyn said, pouring out her own heart.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to stab you in the back. But that feeling just came." Verlin's view was low. It feels too embarrassed to have to meet Jesslyn after hiding her feelings so far caught.

It felt too ignorant if he had to compete with the daughter of a prominent family who clearly already loved Jeaven first. What is she who is only a poor woman and comes to an end by holding an orphan label in both hands. Is it worth competing?

"If that man wasn't a Jeaven, you wouldn't have been moved to sacrifice yourself to protect him, would you?" Again, Jesslyn made Verlin silenced.

You make me jealous, Verlin. I've never even sacrificed to Jeaven. All this time I was just busy chasing and frustrating him.

Silence enveloped the atmosphere. Each of the two women was drifting into his mind. Until the sound of knocking on the door broke their reverie glass.

"Come in, Jennis," said Verlin, who immediately knew who had come because the door was wide open. "Did you come alone?" continue with questions.

Jennis walked into the room. The veils on his tapered face framed seriousness. Don't ask, friend. That's because he's in an emergency.

"I came with Jeaven. He's still downstairs. How you doing, Verlin?" ask the man as a form of concern.

"Smild injuries only. Enough to give medicine from this doctor will be cured soon," Verlin explained.

Verlin smiled lightly at Jennis's suggestion that she had previously been completely unthinkable to him. "I think your advice needs to be considered."

Smiling silently, Jennis responded to Verlin's words and then returned to his voice. "I should be thanking you too. After all I am grateful that my brother was not hurt because of your sacrifice. Although I also regret your situation now. If I could ask, I wouldn't want anyone to get hurt."

"Here you go, this wound is no big deal to me. It's my job as manager of Jeaven to always put up a body."

"Thank you, Verlin."

Jennis turned his attention to Jesslyn who was still sitting on the lip of the bed. He lowered his body by bowing before the two knees of the woman along with a meaningful shady gaze.

"You always worry me, Jesslyn."

The deg!

A powerful throbbing knocked Jesslyn's trembling chest. Just this time a serious facial appearance of Jennis overshadowed her gaze without being vague.

"There's nothing to worry about, Jenna. Verlin's hurt, not me."

"But you were the main target of the attack. What if that hard water throw really hit you?" Encouraged by high concern, Jennis increasingly showed his anxiety reaction. Even Jesslyn's hand was not negligent from the soft grip of her big hand.

"You're so overrated, Jennis." Frankly the hazel-pearl lady looked awkward for the first time in front of Jennis.

The attention of the three human children was immediately distracted by the sound of the pounding footsteps of Jeaven entering the room. The handsome man of stout stature glimpsed with Jesslyn before transferring his attention to Verlin.

"How are you doing?" He immediately asked.

With a warm smile, Verlin slightly raised his hand wrapped in gauze. "Only a small wound" he said as if the burning sensation was nothing.

Upon hearing Verlin's reply, Jeaven again led her gaze to Jesslyn. As usual, his face was always cold. Even this time it looked worse than on other days.

"Do you know that this disaster was the result of your actions? Stop acting recklessly and without thinking about the impact of the risks" Jeaven said.

Jesslyn frowned not understanding. "What do you mean?"

"The mastermind of the whole thing is Angelina Rowler. The artist you once humiliated until he was intent on revenge. Don't you have a brain?! Stop acting like a baby!"

Jesslyn's chest space instantly rumbled in disappointment. Jeaven's sharp tongue again incised the wound. Admittedly he was wrong, but his ego turned out to be more powerful. Until finally the sense of not accepting it greeted.

Roughly, Jesslyn got out of bed. To the extent that the original Jennis still rested in front of him staggered backwards. The dew point on both of its neutrals began to drift.

"I won't show fangs if I don't rub them first. Unbeknownst to you, Angelina has bothered me several times before! Trying to drop my pride and also ruin the good name of my product design. So I'm not wrong to teach him a little lesson!" Jesslyn finally revealed a fact that no one knew before, including the readers.

Jesslyn slapped a blow on Jeaven's chest. "Who are you, huh?! It always hurt my heart. I really hate you!" He then walked away feeling disappointed.

"Jess, where are you going?" Shouted Jennis.

"Fast after him. Outside it was snowing" said Jeaven and immediately got a nod of 'yes' from Jennis.
