The golf course is wide and green. The fresh atmosphere was swept away as the rushing wind. A small ball of white color seemed to roll without detaching from the monitoring eyes.
The sound of applause resounded accompanying the smile that clucked in awe. One last shot from distance ended a game of Jeaven golf with a father of state parliament named Alfred Maunder, father of Adaline Maunder.
"You're the first person who's been so brave enough to beat me, young man." Alfred smiled, a form of recognition of the ability of Jeaven who successfully matched his golf game.
While next to him was Adeline the princess who had not taken a look from the handsome face of Jeaven. He did not even feel embarrassed to show a look of admiration for the man.
The woman was enchanted, her heart was also blossoming. The figure of the cold man seemed to have shifted his world. Yeah ... It seems like she's been lulled by love since first sight. More precisely since Jeaven triumphed in the cross world and became an idol racer.
Thin, the smile on Jeaven's lips was almost imperceptible. As if the price of his smile was not comparable to the price of diamond gems. However, his body language in the form of a nod of the head along with a calm nature is quite representative of an ethic of courtesy to the older.
"It's just a coincidence, sir." Jeaven.
Alfred Mauren chuckled followed by a hand that patted Jeaven's sturdy shoulder. "You're down to please this old man, aren't you?" His clumsiness without showing any offence at all.
Once again, Jeaven only smiled faintly and Adaline grew increasingly ugly. Occasionally the woman gives a wink when her eyes and the man meet each other.
The difference! That's how Jeaven felt. It was very desirable that he immediately waltzed away, but there was something that had to be resolved first at this moment.
"It usually wins when you first hold the golf because there is good luck in your side" Jeaven said. This is the first time he has been on a golf course.
Alfred shook his voice again. Interacting with Jeaven apparently gives its own unexpected pleasure. From there he can also explore further why Adaline can be crazy about him.
The cold man did indeed have innate charisma and also perfect good looks.
"Alright, now you can express your primary purpose in meeting me. Or should we find a comfortable place first and have dinner together?" Alfred began to direct the conversation to a topic that he had delayed a few hours due to playing golf. He also made an offer.
Jeaven handed over his golf club to a caddie before continuing the conversation to a more serious level. "I can speak right now here so as not to take too long for your precious time." High-ranking people like Alfred can certainly judge that Jeaven's speech was embedded in a subtle rejection of his offer.
*Caddie is a person hired by golfers who are in charge of helping golfers and carrying golf clubs.
"Well, if that's what you want." Alfred allowed Jeaven to speak again through his facial expression.
"Please send me a slanted issue about my closeness with your daughter." Jeaven immediately said at the point of discussion.
Adaline bent her face. Of course the woman was disappointed. He thought the draft spread of the issue could pull Jeaven into his arms.
It turns out his judgment was wrong. Jeaven was not an easy victim. Unlike the other male lizards who when they see it always swallow saliva.
Whoa ...! Adaline, you're overconfident.
"Daddy ...." Adaline whines while writhing spoiled in Alfred's arm. His facial language seemed to be begging his father not to comply with Jeaven's request.
For a moment Alfred looked at Adaline with a feeling of understanding and of course understood what his daughter wanted. A second later the old man again drew attention to Jeaven. "Did you not like my daughter? She is beautiful and well educated. I will also bless your relationship. You're gonna be so lucky, aren't you?" He began to seduce. For the sake of the happiness of his daughter, he was willing to set aside a little of his authority as a member of the state parliament.
"I feel bad about this issue. Your daughter should apologise to me for unlicensed fake news that she spread for her own pleasure" Jeaven said.
"Jeaven .. I did it because I like you so much. Give me a chance." Adaline began to intensify her seduction. Shamelessly he clasped Jeaven's burly hands while pressing his twin mountains to tempt the man.
But unfortunately, he had to immediately end his naughty action because the sharp gaze of Jeaven successfully shrunk the guts.
Damnit damnit! This guy is so hard to control! Adaline in the Heart.
Alfred quietly sighed softly due to the princess' absurd behavior. But he still intended to take his fortune once more, trying to persuade Jeaven to withdraw his request.
"I'll sponsor you if you're willing to accept my daughter."
"Did you hear? My father is even willing to sponsor you." Adaline was enthusiastic too.
Observed both faces were laden with hope, but Jeaven was still firm with his stance. "I've been kind enough to speak directly to you without having to clarify in front of the media where it has the potential to damage your image and your daughter, too," he said with a flash of firm eyes and a sentence full of warning.
Alfred was instantly silenced but his mind cursed itself. Why didn't he think he got there? As a member of parliament building a good image is a must and is important.
"Adaline, you better apologize immediately" Alfred told his daughter.
"But, Dad!" Adaline denied but Alfred's current mimic has been impressed not to defend him. Even his father ignored his whining and preferred to obey Jeaven's request.
"All right, young man. I'll make sure the issue sinks as soon as possible" Alfred broke up without coercion.
"Daddy ...." Adaline sulks spoiled mixed with disappointment.
"My daughter, Jeaven is not for you. There are still plenty of other equally good men out there." Alfred tried to give understanding as his hands rubbed his daughter's back.
"Daddy I hate you!" Adaline who was disappointed because her desire did not materialize immediately waltzed away.
Alfred was still commenting on the smile of patience looking at his daughter's back that was getting away and then back to highlighting Jeaven. "I'm sorry I haven't properly educated my daughter. You take it easy, I'll settle the issue immediately," he said in earnest.
"Thank you" Jeaven replied in relief.
"You must be keeping someone's heart feeling. That's your main purpose for meeting me." Alfred guessed while smiling kindly.
Alfred actually read Jeaven's expression as he spoke. He could see a veil of unrest behind the calm conduct of his interlocutor.
Jeaven replied with a slight smile to respond. "My answer is the same as what's on your mind right now."
"The woman was very lucky."
"Not him, but I'm the lucky one" said Jeaven. "Then I'll let myself go." He nodded slowly before boarding the buggy car that would take him out of the field area.
Yes, I am a lucky person because I have been loved. And I'd be the luckiest in the world if I could have it.
