The Challenge of War

David turned his eyes toward Nathan. Somehow he thought that the young man was the fiancee whom Elizabeth meant, seeing that no one other than Nathan was in the room qualified.

David's gaze instantly turned cold upon seeing Nathan. He felt annoyed and jealous at the same time because the young man had already snatched away his first love.

"You! Let's prove who deserves to be with Miss Elizabeth!" David loudly challenged Nathan to a fight while pointing at him.

David's face did not show any doubt at all. He firmly and steadily challenged Nathan without realizing that the young man was the big boss there.

Getting a challenge from David certainly makes Nathan surprised. He felt that the young man had misunderstood him because he thought that he was Elizabeth's fiancee.

Nathan then looks towards Elizabeth and finds out that the beautiful woman is just smiling thinly, which seems to be putting the matter to him.

On the other hand Joe and El Chapo panicked because David dared to challenge Nathan. They were both worried that they would receive additional punishment due to the actions of the young man who had originally spoken without seeing the situation and conditions first.

"Based on a stupid boy! What are you saying huh?! Hurry up and apologize!" El Chapo said frantically as he pressed David's head to make the young man bow forcibly.

On the other hand Joe tried to explain to Nathan if David still did not know who his boss, and asked Nathan to understand David's attitude because he was young.

Nathan himself does not mind the attitude of David who seems very impulsive because it is natural for young people it seems his emotions will explode what else when it comes to women.

"Of course I wouldn't be bothered about something as trivial as this. But let me get it straight with you first, David. I can't and will if I have to get engaged to a gorilla like her."

Nathan casually gives David the simplest possible explanation if he and Elizabeth are not engaged.

David then gave the letter to Nathan with the intention that the young man would forgive him, and not get punishment from Joe and El Chapo.

Upon opening the letter Nathan discovers that the sender is the chairman of the Bloody Love Gang. In the letter, the head of the gang gave a threat not to circulate illegal drugs in their area of power.

Of course the letter was actually addressed to Joe and El Chapo, considering everyone in the Kensington area only knew if they were both owners of Bar King's.

Nathan certainly knows the Bloody Love Gang and who the leader is. He came to Kensington not without preparation. It has been a long time since Nathan studied the ruling gangs there with the help of the System.

There are three major gangs that control the Kensington area, namely Bloody Love, Two Brothers, and Deathly Row. Each of them has its own territory of power to circulate illegal drugs.

The district where Bar King's is built is the area controlled by the Bloody Love Gang. The gang leader seems to have started to suspect that Joe and El Chapo were circulating illegal drugs, after arresting David while transacting.

Therefore, Guild Leader Bloody Love sent a spy to find out how many illegal drugs were produced by Bar King's secretly.

But it is unfortunate that his efforts had to fail because he sent a spy at the wrong time, where Nathan came to visit to inspect there.

Nathan then gives David a box with an orange packaging cover that the young man immediately receives without any coercion.

Curious about the box. David then opened it and was surprised when he found a lot of 100 Dollar bills.

David's hand immediately shook because it was the first time to see that much real cash directly, and not just toy money.

This moment was certainly a dream for David and he did not expect that Nathan would give him that much money.

"You already know what to use the money for, don't you?" Nathan asked with a faint smile when he saw David glued to the spot.

Hearing Nathan's question of course David understood what he meant. He then thanked Nathan, because with that much money he could provide better facilities for his mother in the hospital.
