Chapters 12. Jewel Necklace

"Are you crazy?!" lucy's jolt as she glares at Aiden through the rearview mirror. He had not expected that man to be so easily exposed to the trap of a foolish human like Lyodra. He was sure the girl was growing suspicious.

But Aiden always showed a calm face, making Lucy increasingly upset. For the first time Aiden was being indifferent to her.

"What's crazy? I just ate his cooking," replied the handsome man, as if not to mind Lyodra's actions.

"You really don't feel that girl is dangerous?"

"No, he just doesn't know anything. That's why he's always curious."

"You really want to keep that stupid man?!" ketus Lucy, and Aiden answered him with a stern look. That means Aiden is lazy to argue.

Lucy feels that talking to Aiden is just a waste. Because the man never took it seriously. Instead of making his heart continue to feel upset, it was better for him to act alone, yes it seems that he should be the one to remove Lyodra from the house.

I'm gonna get you to put your feet up, just look what I'm gonna do to you, before you screw things up.

In the afternoon, Aiden had not yet arrived home. Lyodra permits Prima to return to her father's house first, and she will return after finishing night classes.

From what was happening before his eyes, Lyodra was firmly convinced that Aiden was one of the bloodsucking creatures. However, she somehow felt undaunted, before Aiden showed her true form.

"I have to find Grandpa's gift necklace, yes, it seems like the only way to unravel the man's identity is just by using the necklace" Lyodra murmured as she was in the taxi. He recalled that when his grandfather was alive, the man once said that his necklace was a vampire weapon.

Until the moment the taxi arrived in front of his house, Lyodra immediately went down and ran to get into his room. There was no greeting or anything, for Lyodra's purpose was only to take away the sacred object.

"I'm sure that time, I put it in the closet," muttered Lyodra began to look around. He ransacked all the drawers in his room, until the room looked messy.

"Lyo, when are you coming home, son?" asked David who saw the princess just wayangnya suddenly at home.

Lyodra pulled the chair, because she wanted to take the box that was on top of the closet. There are some relics of his mother, who knows he forgot to put the necklace there.

"Lyo, what are you looking for?" ask David again, because from now on the child does not want to assume his presence.

Lyodra reflex breathed out, then glanced down. "Daddy don't ask questions, I'm not focused."

"Haish, this kid!"

Lyodra took the sizable box from the top of the closet and dropped it off. He opened it with a hopeful heart, until Lyodra's lips were perfect, when he saw the red jewel of the pomegranate twinkling.

"It turns out he's here" Lyodra cried with excitement. Like just getting a treasure, while David frowned, what did Lyodra take the necklace for?

However, before David asked, Lyodra instead told him to go to college. "Dad, please help me clean up the room. Because your beautiful son has to go to college soon."

Lyodra kissed David's cheek which looked gawky, then she said in a spoiled tone. "I love you, Daddy. Dahhh ...."

David twisted his neck as Lyodra walked out of the room. And the girl actually left him with the chaotic-looking atmosphere of the room.

Realizing that, David immediately shouted loudly. "LYODRA DAWSON, YOU'RE BACK!"

While Lyodra has run down the alley and stopped a taxi to go to campus. She had no idea, when the necklace was coiled around her neck, there was a lot of risk she had to take.

Including interference from other vampires, because they feel that Lyodra is a threat to them.

"We're going to be hunted soon, but before that happens we better get rid of the humans" said Edge, the leader of another group of vampires. His eyes were bright red, just like the jewel that was now coiled around Lyodra's neck.
