Chapters 2. Don't Block Me

"Hello, Miss, you're in the hospital!" dean, David's assistant, said on the phone. That afternoon the unconscious David was immediately rushed to the nearest hospital. Because Dean was worried the old man had a heart attack.

"Why can? In which hospital?" tanya Lyodra, a beautiful girl, the only daughter of David. At that time Lyodra was still on campus, but when she heard her father who was unconscious suddenly, of course she could not stay still.

"Near company. You better come here, miss," said Dea. And Lyodra immediately nodded her head as if Dean knew her movements.

After the phone connection is cut off. Lyodra was on her best friend—Jayden.

"Jay, please tell the Lecturer, I'm authorized today. My dad is in the hospital" Lyodra said with a look of anxiety. In this world he only has his father and grandmother, because Lyodra's mother died five years ago.

"What happened to Uncle David?" ask Jayden.

"I don't know either, which is obvious I should leave immediately!"

Lyodra was about to step on her foot, but Jayden quickly grabbed her by the girl's wrist. "I'm coming. Let's get permission together."

"Then come on! I don't have much time, I'm so scared, Jay."

The young man nodded, he pulled Lyodra's arm to go to the lecturer's room. They were allowed not to enter the class because of a sudden affair.

The two went by taxi, all the way Lyodra could not sit quietly. She was afraid something might happen to her father, and Jayden felt that, rubbing Lyodra's shoulders gently, giving her strength.

"Calm down a little, Lyo. Uncle David must be fine," said the young man, but it does not necessarily make Lyodra anxiety reduced.

"I don't want to lose him."

"Not going to."

Jayden pulled Lyodra's head to lean on her shoulder, they had been friends since childhood, and Jayden already considered Lyodra his sister. The figure he needs to take care of.

Lyodra and Jayden arrive at the hospital. The girl ran when the administration told her where her father's room was.

Without knocking on the door, Lyodra immediately opened the rectangular object, until everyone inside turned to her.

"Daddy!" call Lyodra while approaching the middle-aged man. He saw that David was conscious, and the man had just gotten a follow-up examination.

"Hey, you don't need to be that hot. Daddy's okay," said David, stroking Lyodra's back. However, the girl's cry grew louder, she hugged David tightly.

"Don't try to lie to Lyo, Dad. I'm not a kid!" lyodra said. But David chuckled a little.

"So stop crying like a child. Look ... Daddy's fine."

Lyodra got up, then wiped her hardened tears. For some reason when crying, Lyodra even looks more adorable.

"Say, what's really going on, Dad!" sue Lyodra's. He wanted an explanation for why his father was in the hospital.

David sighed, then gave a faint smile. She didn't want to make Lyodra feel sad, so she didn't want to tell the girl about her company.

"Daddy is just not feeling well" replied David, an answer that left Dean's forehead wrinkled. But David blinked immediately, giving the assistant a code to shut up.

Lyodra's eyes narrowed.

"Daddy is hiding something from me?"

"Of course not. Jay, look ... this child if you are told you like to be stubborn," joked David while glancing at his daughter's best friend.

And that made Lyodra spark her lips. He pinched his father's arm slowly, pretending to be angry. "I'm not kidding."

"Hey, who's joking with you anyway, Lyo?"

"Haish, Daddy sucks!" Lyodra folded her hands together in front of her chest, but David immediately grabbed her.

"Come on, hug Daddy again."

Lyodra stared at the two beads of eyes belonging to her father, she felt that the middle-aged man was hiding something from her. However, willing to search like anything, he was sure David would not open his voice. She hugged David again.

"I love Daddy, don't leave me."

In the evening, a fierce fire devoured the magnificent high-rise building of DS Group. A company led by David. The fire occurred allegedly due to sparks coming out of the computer cable, until now the red whiz has spread everywhere.

Lyodra could only sculpt with a pushy look at the news. His body felt very weak, because his family company suddenly destroyed in a matter of nights.

And he was sure, this must have something to do with the father who suddenly entered the hospital. David had hidden something from her.

Not wanting to stay silent like a fool, Lyodra immediately ran away, leaving Jayden who had been accompanying her.

"Lyo, where are you going?!" jayden asked with a slight shout. Finally he followed, following wherever Lyodra went.

Until now Lyodra stopped in the parking lot, she immediately grabbed the collar of Dean's shirt which was about to get into the car. "Explain to me, what's really going on?!"

Getting an unexpected attack, it certainly made Dean feel very surprised, especially Lyodra suddenly asked like that.

"Miss, what do you mean?"

"Don't pretend to be stupid, my Daddy went to the hospital, and now the company's on fire. You still ask me what I mean?!" yelled Lyodra furiously.

Dean looks flabby. Because this is not the place to explain. But he was sure that Lyodra would continue to demand an answer.

Finally Dean gave up, he explained what had happened to Lyodra, about Aiden's arrival and what the man had done, leaving Lyodra gaping.

"Who is he?" ask Lyodra.

"He's a newcomer, Miss. But it seems like people are very afraid of him."

"Just them, not me!" Lyodra took off her grip on Dean's shirt, and then she walked away.

"Lyo, what are you gonna do?" jayden asked, he tried to stop the girl, but Lyodra kept Jayden's hand away.

"Lyo, stop!" yell Jayden frustrated. And it succeeded in making Lyodra look.

"You're telling me to stop? While my father's company has been broken into pieces because of his actions? No, Jay. I'll find out what makes him so scared. Even if I could, I'd give it back!"

"Lyo, it's dangerous!" jayden said he was trying to grab Lyodra's hand.

"Don't stop me if you're my best friend!" ketus Lyodra, then brushed aside Jayden's hand.

He'll think of a way, how to get into Aiden's family.
