Chapter 41. Not Guilty Completely

The morning before Lyodra woke up, Aiden was getting ready to leave, and she was going to meet Lucy who was now being held at Kibrit's house.

Before leaving the room, Aiden took the time to kiss Lyodra on the cheek. "I'll go first. And for you .. have fun."

The handsome vampire pulled the corner of his lips upwards, as he looked at Lyodra who seemed to respond by tasting her own mouth.

Then the next second he left the room to meet Prima, the person in charge of this house. "A lot of cooks, when he wakes up make sure everything is ready" Aiden said.

The middle-aged woman immediately nodded obediently. By now, Lyodra's status had changed to that of her master, so she too had to pay respect to the girl.

"Good, Sir. I will serve Miss Lyodra. But when are you back?" answer Prima and ask questions.

"I won't be there long, so just tell me I have a little business."

"Alright, I'll deliver the message if Miss is awake."

"Yes, then I go first" said Aiden, without waiting for Prima's reply, the man had already come out and darted like the wind.

Aiden travels through the wilderness, a place inhabited by his vampire family. There were his grandfather, grandmother, and three younger brothers.

When Aiden arrived, everyone in the living room immediately rose up. Seen from their faces, it seems to show empathy for the incident that befell Aiden and Lucy.

"Where is he now?" ask Aiden with a flat face.

"He's in the basement. He didn't tell Daddy anything about the attack. Every time Daddy asked him he could only cry," the Emperor replied as he was. Lucy chooses to keep quiet about the reason for the attack on Lyodra.

"Looks like you're the only one who can persuade him, Ai," Kibrit said, and was immediately approved by everyone.

"Then I'll see him" Aiden broke up. Before leaving the living room, Airish patted her son on the shoulder.

"Don't go looking for it too much. Talk about everything calmly, Mommy knows you're very emotional to see Lyodra being attacked by Lucy, but you also have to listen to her reasons. You can judge it yourself, because we live with it neither a day nor two days" she said.

Aiden nodded at a glance, after obtaining permission, Aiden finally descended into the basement.

A dark and silent place, as a guilt-redeemer. Vampires or creatures held here would not be able to escape just like that, because those iron bars had an enormous power.

Only the key owner, Kibrit, can open it.

"We need to talk, Lu," said Aiden, leaving Lucy stunned.

The two wolf woman's eyeballs glazed over, she did not expect that Aiden was still willing to meet her.

However, Lucy did not answer or look. It was not ready to meet the man who had been filling his heart all this time. Yes, Lucy secretly harbors feelings for Aiden. He was jealous when Lyodra suddenly came, and made the man go crazy.

"Lu, do you hear me?" ask Aiden again. And slowly Lucy's body returns to being human.

"Have you come to judge me? You want to blame me again for that girl?" Lucy asked back, making Aiden sigh.

"You still don't understand it either. I don't know what's wrong with Lyodra until you try so hard to get rid of her. But you know, how do I love that girl? You're very well-known to me, Lu. But strangely you did something that disappointed me, instead" replied Aiden, beginning to explain once more about his feelings for Lyodra that would never have changed.

"That's because of you!" poke Lucy with her lips twitching.

Aiden's forehead frowned. "Me?"

Lucy looked at him with a look that looked very sad. "Yes, because of you! I love you, Ai. I did it all because I didn't want Lyodra to take you away from me. Am I wrong? Am I guilty of liking my own cousin?"

Hearing that, Aiden immediately shook his head. So, this is why Lucy hates Lyodra so much?

"You don't know how tormented I am when you pay more attention to it. You don't know how angry I was when you kept defending him when he could have put you in danger! You don't know anything about me, Ai. And all that infuriated me, that I thought I wanted to exterminate it from this earth."

Lucy is stunned when she expresses all her feelings towards Aiden. While the man kept quiet and listened.

"And now I've lost. Because you really chose it. I can't do anything, Ai, even to defend myself. You can punish me here, but don't even think about not thinking of me as your cousin again. I do love you, but now I've been trying to meditate ...."

Without waiting for Aiden to react, Lucy immediately turned back into a wolf. He turned his back on Aiden, not wanting the man to know how sad he was feeling.

Love can change a person, from good to evil, and vice versa. Aiden could not comment, as he knew the situation they were in was quite difficult.

He could not blame Lucy completely.

"Take your punishment until the full moon. And after that, assume it never happened, because Lyodra and I are getting married" Aiden said before leaving.

Hearing that, for a moment Lucy was delighted, but the next second she was like being stabbed by a sharp dagger.
