The Maid Of Vampires

The Maid Of Vampires
Chapter 9. Potion Bottle

"Done everything. I don't want to see my room fall apart!" aiden's word to Lyodra.

"Yes, sir," replied Lyodra obediently.

When you are finished dressing. Finally the man came out of the room, he and the whole family were indeed still able to eat human food. However, not much. Even every month they all need an antidote in the form of a herb made by Kibrit—kakek Aiden— who has been living in the middle of the forest.

After Aiden's departure. Lyodra began to make the man's bed. However, no traces of messy bed linen or pillows moved from its place.

"Is he sleeping or not? What needs to be done?" lyodra grumbled as she glanced out of the room, afraid that Aiden would hear her words.

But suddenly Lyodra had a good idea. Since Aiden was not around, he could freely find out what the man had stored in the room, including the potion Lucy had just smeared.

Lyodra searched for the bottle of the potion. He took a look among the many items that belonged to the man. And it turns out Lucy kept it downstairs.

"Well, I've finally found you" Lyodra murmured as she held the bottle with the image of a bat. Makes the girl think that Aiden likes the animal. "His pet is also weird, so I shouldn't be surprised."

The girl went back to look around hoping to find something suspicious and she could use it as a clue. However, suddenly Prima comes and surprises him. "Lyo!"

"Good, Mom! If it comes at least knock on the door first, Mother really surprises me," Lyodra said while taking a breath and throwing it away slowly.

However, instead of apologizing, Prima actually conveyed the mandate of his master. "You were told to return the potion bottle that Master used this morning. Because from now on, you'll take it and put it."

"really?"

"Lyo, don't ask too many questions, just do what you're told to do" Prima replied, because Lyodra was talking too much.

Without waiting for the girl's answer, Prima also invited Lyodra to go to the room in question. "Come out, I'll show you where the room is. Now it's all your part."

Prima took the lead at the front, while Lyodra followed with a throbbing lip. They passed by the table, but Lyodra did not see a single person sitting there. Did Aiden and his family not eat breakfast, so why did they cook?

"Mr Prim!" calling Lyodra, making the woman stop her steps, she turned her head and looked at the confused looking Lyodra.

"What's up, Lyo?"

"They'll eat when they're hungry. While you go straight to the company," replied Prima.

"Why do we cook that much?"

"Of course for the workers in this house, Lyo. You're a new servant, so you don't understand their habits yet" explains Prima, who somehow can't be digested by Lyodra's brain. However, it seemed that he should not be too excited to ask, as Prima could be suspicious.

"I'm sorry, Mom, I just feel weird" Lyodra said, bowing her head, showing her guilt.

"It's okay, but next time you talk. You will be angry."

Lyodra immediately nodded, then they continued their steps. Until now they arrived at one of the rooms, the potion storage. When the door opened, Lyodra could barely see anything, as the room was very dark.

But Prima immediately turned on the light switch. Until it looks a lot of bottles lined up.

"If you are called Master in the morning, you must take the bottle that is lined on the left. Because you have to understand what you're asking for, without waiting for him to speak. This morning you are still safe, because Master was not angry when the other servant replaced you, so do not repeat. Don't stay up too much!" clearly Prima clearly, while advising Lyodra.

The girl wanted to defend herself, because last night she did not intentionally want to stay up, but she was indeed unable to sleep because of the howling of the wolf that was next to her room.

However, before Lyodra asked, Prima spoke again. "Well, if the bottle is empty, you put it on the right. Understood?"

"Understand me, ma'am," Lyodra answered quickly.

"Yes, you put it there. I have to go back to the front" said Prima, then leave Lyodra alone in this room. The beautiful girl walked towards the shelf that was on the right. Put the empty bottle in her hand.

After doing his job, Lyodra wanted to leave the room immediately, but curiosity dominated. He wanted to know what liquid was actually inside the bottle.

He glanced out, making sure that Prima had already gone far. Then after that, Lyodra walked towards the bottle rack that was still fully filled. The girl opened it hesitantly, then tried to inhale the scent.

Lyodra immediately felt nauseous, until she closed her mouth. "Huwek, like the smell of carrion!" lyodra said, then quickly shut it back down. However, he felt strange, because he did not smell anything on Aiden's body, even though they were close together.

"Sure, I must be right, he's playing shaman!"
