Chapter 31. There's No Shadow

"Where's your necklace?" aiden asked as he fed Lyodra. From last night he noticed there was no pomegranate-red object on his girlfriend's neck, did Edge manage to snatch it?

Lyodra first swallowed the porridge in her mouth.

"I don't know, Tu—eum I mean, honey. Before taking a shower I always take it off and put it in the same place. But from this afternoon I was looking for him, the necklace was not there," Lyodra explained as it was, even she had changed the call because she had agreed with Aiden. If he violates, he will be punished.

Hearing Lyodra's explanation, Aiden's forehead immediately wrinkled. And now he can conclude that Edge was able to attack Lyodra, due to the absence of the necklace.

Like something planned. Aiden muttered in his heart.

"Then what gets you out? Didn't I ban you? Why not obey?" Aiden sounded like he was scolding Lyodra, but basically he was just afraid of the girl for what ever.

Lyodra looked stunned, and she just remembered that her father had entered the hospital. "Gosh, Honey. I forgot, Daddy's in the hospital. I don't know how she is yet."

The girl immediately pulled out the blanket and was about to get out of bed, but Aiden immediately held her back, as Lyodra was not very good either. "You're still sick. Just call me first, use my phone!"

Lyodra gulped her saliva roughly, as it felt quite trembling with Aiden's attention.

"Tell me if this is your number, too" continued Aiden, who made Lyodra grow. Somehow David's reaction, if you know if the person who became his enemy, even related to his own daughter.

Although Lyodra has become Aiden's lover, the girl continues to serve Aiden as usual. Even the time they spend is much more, because they live one roof.

And it makes Lucy unable to hold all the anger in her chest anymore. Day by day he continued to witness the closeness of Aiden and Lyodra.

His heart returned hot, burning with jealous flames. Until he re-thought of a way, how to get rid of the girl from Aiden's life.

"Do I have to tell him that Aiden is a vampire? Maybe that way, she'll go alone, and I won't have to bother," Lucy muttered with her shortsighted brain.

His eyes had darkened, so he could not remember, that the family of the vampire race had accepted him with open arms, even though he was a werewolf.

Lucy suddenly grinned fully, remembering that tonight is the night of the full moon.

He had to make sure that Lyodra realized that Aiden had no shadow that night, making Lyodra suspicious.

"Yes, it looks like you should know who Aiden is, and then you'll be far from our lives!" cetus Lucy, convinced that Lyodra will not be able to accept Aiden who turns out to be a blood-sucking creature.

When night falls, Lucy comes to Aiden's room. He knocked on the door, and before long Aiden had told him to come in.

Lucy appears to be carrying a tray, on top of which is a glass of potion commonly made by Kibrit to make the work of a vampire's heart optimal. "You haven't drank it in a long time."

The wolf woman handed the glass to Aiden, so inevitably Aiden accepted it.

"I'd rather have blood than this one drink" murmured Aiden, but he still downed all the contents in the glass.

"But did you forget? Where are you now? Even you deliberately ensnared a human to be next to you" Lucy replied that made Aiden twist her body.

The man smiled faintly.

"You can't lie to me either, Ai. But do you also want to make him like you?" lucy continued, in front of Aiden, she seemed to have no problem with Lyodra.

The man nodded quickly. "I'll never make him a creature like me. Because I don't want to be selfish, he shouldn't sacrifice his life just because he wants to be with me. Eternity is not a pleasant thing, Lu. Obviously, I feel like my life is more colorful when I'm next to her."

Hearing the statement, Lucy's heart was stabbed, until unconsciously her hand clenched.

"But what if it turns out he doesn't want to see you again, when he finds out you're a vampire?" lucy asked, she glanced at Aiden, until they looked at each other.

However, before Aiden replied, the door of his room was knocked back by someone. Aiden let him in right away, and it turned out that someone was Lyodra.

"Ai, he said—" Lyodra immediately stopped her speech when she saw Lucy in the room, whereas Prima had given a message that Aiden told her to come.

"What's up, Lyo?" aiden asked while looking at the lover, but somehow Lyodra always felt uncomfortable when there was Lucy.

"I wanted to take you out to get some fresh air. But it seems that you are talking seriously," Lyodra replied, she decided to return, but before she turned her back, Lyodra felt something strange.

He glanced at Aiden and also the large mirror that was beside the man's body. However, he realized only realistically that Aiden's body image did not exist.

In this situation Lucy was happy. Because Lyodra seemed to be aware of the oddity she was intentionally trying to point out. Yeah, he's the one who asked Lyodra to come.

"Lyodra!" call Lucy.

However, Lyodra tried to stay calm, some facts he had often encountered but somehow it even made him want to drop himself on Aiden.

"Just finish your conversation, I'll wait" said Lyodra, then passed.
