Chapter 10 (Apple Knox)

"Apple, let Knox drive you home. It's been very night" Rexa said.

"No, Aunty. I can go home by myself. Thanks for the attention," replied Apple smiling and kissing Rexa's cheek.

"Bye," Apple said.

"But .." said Rexa.

"I'll be fine" said Apple, smiling back and turning away.

Knox walked behind him.

"There's no need to drive me forward" Apple said.

Knox held onto Apple's waist and walked beside him.

"You're my girlfriend, so I'll take you all the way to the front" Knox smiled.

Apple laughed softly and let Knox escort her out of the venue.

"What are you riding on?" ask Knox.

"Taxi" replied Apple.

"You didn't bring a car?"

"No. I don't like to drive my own car" replied Apple.

"Then I'll drop you off" Knox said.

"I told you I could go home by myself and I didn't like being escorted" Apple replied and walked to the side of the road to intercept a taxi.

Knox held Apple's hand and brought it closer.

"I'll take you. Point," Knox said.

The problem is that it's almost 12 p.m., and he can't let Apple go alone in a taxi.

"I'm gonna call your roommate to pick me up," Apple replied, picking up the phone.

"Why don't you let me drive you? Can't I know where you live?" ask Knox.

Apple nodded while calling Lea.

"that's weird. You're playing me, Apple?" knox.

Apple shook his head and his hand shut Knox's mouth to stop talking.

"Lea, pick me up at the address I've sent you via message. Yes, now, bye," said Apple and immediately closed the phone so Lea taj many protests.

"Done. Beres, right?" apple smiled at Knox.

Apple held Knox's forehead and confirmed the location of the frown.

"No need to be surprised because this is my rule. If you don't like it, you can back off" Apple said casually.

"What are you really looking for?" ask Knox.

"Fun and freedom. I belong to myself and no one can control it but myself" Apple replied.

Apple knows a man like Knox. He's had a lot of experience with men and Knox isn't the type of guy, so Apple knows what to do with Knox.

So did Knox. Apple is not the kind of woman he usually dates. Apple complete package. Beautiful, smart, firm, honest as it is and not too worried about a relationship.

If his partner is not as he wishes, Apple will easily abandon him.

"We'll just wait there" Knox said, pulling Apple's hand.

Apple just followed it. Knox opened his suit and put it on Apple.

"It's pretty cold" Knox said.

"You're so sweet" said Apple, smiling and wearing Knox's suit that was still warm because of Knox's body heat.

Suddenly the nape of his neck bristled to smell the Knox suit he wore.

"You need a hug?" ask Knox.

"No," replied Apple briefly and sat down in a wooden chair.

Knox sat down next to Apple and grabbed his shoulder.

Apple looked towards Knox.

"I'm just embracing you" Knox said.

"How much is your ex-boyfriend?" ask Apple.

"Countable," replied Knox as it was because indeed he forgot how many times and who his ex-girlfriend was.

Apple laughed when they heard that.

"You?" ask Knox.

"15? More or less that much" Apple answered honestly.

Knox laughed at Apple's honesty.

"You must know my reputation because I always date men from among you" continued Apple lightly.

Knox just smiled in response.
