The Apple Knox 55

"How does he know my phone number? Only Lea and you know. Even my mother doesn't know" said Apple, who now sits on the edge of her bed.

"I'll investigate this" replied Knox.

"Has he arrived at my apartment? That means he's met with Lea" said Apple, who was worried again.

"I'll call Julian" replied Knox.

Apple nodded and he also called Lea.

"Hello, Julian. Where are you?" ask Knox.

"I'm in the company and I didn't change my clothes because you locked the door last night" Julian said.

"Did anyone come to Leah at the apartment?" ask Knox.

"none. I came home after breakfast and Lea was still there" Julian said.

"What's up, Knox?" ask Julian.

"Can you go to her apartment again now. And get there quickly" replied Knox.

"Hey, what's wrong? You make me ask you a question" Julian said.

"I'll tell you later. Now get there fast" Knox said, then hung up.

"I can't call Lea. Is Lea okay?" ask Apple who stood up.

"Julian is going to the apartment and I'm going to have my men investigate about Jorge Marine" Knoox replied.

"We're going there now" said Apple out of his room.

Knox pulls Apple's hand.

"You are here and my men will finish it" Knox said.

"But Lea ... I can't calm down until I know how it's going, '" Apple said.

"We're waiting for word from Julian, okay?" sahut Knox's.

"NO!! I have to go to the apartment right now!!" snapped Apple.

"No, you're here" replied Knox to calm him down.

"What if something bad happens to her?" ask Apple.

"will not. The target is not him" replied Knox.

"How's it?" ask Knox to his men.

"We checked his CCTV and it's true he was in the apartment. The man came to Miss Lea's apartment unit and then left. He was disguised as a cleaning service officer" replied the man.

"What about Leah?" ask Knox.

"He was attacked but then left. Now Mr. Julian is here and up to see Miss Lea" replied the man across the phone.

"Find the man and take him straight to Bridge Headquarters. Then let me know" Knox ordered.

"Good, Sir."

Knox hung up his phone and Apple looked at him.

"Lea's fine and Julian's looking after him" Knox said.

Apple nodded and breathed a sigh of relief.

"I'll go and you'll stay safe here" Knox continued.

Apple nodded back.

"I'll take care of it" Knox said, hugging her again and then peeling her forehead.

"Thank you" replied Apple.

Knox smiled and then left.

Apple could only look at his departure and the woman sat back on the edge of her bed with an erratic feeling.

"He's strangling you?" julian asked, looking at Lea's neck.

"I'm fine. What I'm worried about is Apple at the moment" replied Lea, who was holding a cloth filled with ice on her head.

"Apple is perfectly safe in Knox's protection" Julian replied.

"Where's the medicine box?" ask Julian.

"I'm fine" Lea replied.

"Your head and neck are scuffed" Julian said.

Julian stood up and looked for the medicine box that finally found him hanging on the wall near the bathroom.
