Chapter 17 Apple Knox

"We're getting engaged, so I think I should take you home to the apartment. Ah yes, do you want to move to a bigger apartment?" ask Knox.

"No, I love my apartment and my roommate, too" Apple replied.

"Didn't you like luxury?" ask Knox.

"Yes, but if I'm comfortable with something then I'll keep it for example my current apartment" Apple replied as it walked with Knox toward Knox's sports car.

"You don't want me to buy you a car?" ask Apple.

"No, I don't like driving" replied Apple.

Apple stopped its move and looked at Knox.

"What's wrong?" ask Knox.

"Is it that easy that you give me something expensive?" ask Apple.

"Yes," replied Knox casually.

"How much of a nominal amount can you give me?" ask Apple.

"You're negotiating business with me?" tanya Knox laughed softly as she thought this was something funny.

"A relationship is a negotiation" Apple replied and went back and asked no more questions.

They both got into the car and Apple was willing to be escorted by Knox to his apartment.

This is a rare thing where only this time a man can drive Apple home to his apartment.

On the way, Apple told Knox to stop at a bakery.

"Stop at that bakery" Apple pointed to a brown store.

Knox stopped the car there.

"Let's go down" Apple said.

"I'm coming down?" ask Knox.

"Yes, because you're the one who's gonna pay for it," Apple replied with the rest.

Knox frowned and then smiled.

Apple got out of the car and Knox did too.

"Good night, Miss Apple" said one of the employees from inside the store who seemed to know Apple.

"Hi, Mrs Olive. Did you prepare it?" ask Apple friendly.

"Already, Miss. You came here directly to pick it up?" asked Olive while taking a large piece of bread.

"Yes, I happened to be escorted by my friend" replied Apple.

"I'm his fiancee" Knox smiled.

"Really?? You guys are a really compatible couple" Olive said.

Apple just smiled and Knox took the big plastic package out of Olive's hand.

Apple looked towards Knox and Knox knew what the sign was. Knox takes out his card and gives it to Olive who is also a cashier.

Olive took the card and processed the payment.

"Thank you, Miss Apple," Olive said after completing her payment.

"I'm the one who should thank you, Bi. Bye," said Apple and smiled and left the bakery.

They both got out of the store and Knox took the bread to his car.

"What is this much bread for? Want to share it with people?" ask Knox.

"Yes" replied Apple.

Then they got back in the car and Knox drove back.

"Where are you going to distribute this bread?" ask Knox.

"To a place near my apartment" replied Apple.

Ten minutes later, they arrived at a house that looked old.

"Here?" ask Knox.

"Yes, briefly. I'm gonna have them take it here" Apple replied and got out of the car.

Knox went out and took out the bread and the bag.

Some children between the ages of 8 and 10 ran towards Apple with faces on their faces.

Some of them hugged Apple. Knox who was behind Apple only saw the warm insterction.
