The Apple Knox 38

"Do you want me to send you to the orphanage at the time? I didn't send you there because I still love you. You're my only daughter and if I'm selfish then I've abandoned you on the streets" Solandis said, not accepting Apple's insults.

"You have to go to Dubai later in the afternoon if you don't want to see me die" Solandis said.

Apple fell silent and covered her wet face with her hands.

Then Apple got back in the car and sent the driver to Knox.

He wanted to inform Knox of the matter and ask for his help.

The driver turned towards Knox's company which was a different direction from Apple's campus.

Ten minutes later, Apple arrived at the company and headed straight to Knox's room.

"Where's Knox?" ask Apple when it doesn't find Knox in the room.

"Mr Knox is in the meeting room with Mr. Reno. We will have another 20-minute meeting and Mr. Knox will be waiting there" the assistant replied.

"Thank you" Apple answered and headed to the meeting room on the same floor.

Apple headed to the meeting room and stopped when Knox mentioned his name in his chat with Reno.

"So this engagement is just a game?" ask Reno.

"Yes, we are playing and just as enjoying this" replied Knox.

"That means you're not getting married?" Ask Reno.

"Marriage is a serious and sacred thing. There's no way I'm so easily married to someone who's never even been seriously in a relationship. I love it and we've only been in a relationship for a few days. We are still not very serious about this relationship, Reno," replied Knox.

Apple knew that it was highly unlikely that Knox would have a serious relationship with him because Apple never showed any seriousness to Knox.

And their relationship was only as long as corn. There is nothing special about their relationship that has only been established for a few days.

Apple dropped its intention to talk about this to Knox. He retreated his steps and turned away.

"I didn't find it and can you call it for me?" apple told Knox's assistant.

"Okay, miss" replied the man.

Then the man went to the meeting room where Knox was chatting with Reno.

A few minutes later, Knox walked into his room and met Apple.

"What's wrong? Is there a problem?" ask Knox.

"No, I just wanted to say, I'll go back to my apartment later. So I don't need a bodyguard anymore" Apple replied.

"Are you okay?" Ask Knox.

"Yes, I'm fine and I had a little fight with my mom. He forced me to come to Dubai to celebrate his wedding anniversary" Apple replied and stood up from the couch.

"And you didn't go there?" ask Knox.

"I don't know yet. All right, I'll go first. My phone broke so I couldn't get to you earlier" Apple said.

Then Apple left without touching Knox at all.

Knox held Apple's hand and looked at his face.

"You're not what you used to be" Knox said.

"It's all because of my mom. That's all it is. My mood is bad when it comes to that," replied Apple lowered its head.

Knox hugged him.

"Don't hesitate to tell me whatever your problem is" Knox said.

"Hmm" Apple said without returning Knox's embrace.

Then Apple let go of Knox's hug and left from there.
