Chapter 25 AppleKnox

"Hi, Sarah. How are you doing? You've improved, haven't you? Congratulations on your marriage" Knox said, shaking Sarah's hand.

"Thank you, I've been so good. Yes, I want to return the ring. Davian told me about it and I'm grateful for this" Sarah said, giving Knox the ring.

"You must be Margie" Sarah smiled.

"I'm Apple" Apple said.

"Oh my God ... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to" said Sarah.

"It's okay. I already know the football first," Apple replied casually and smiled.

It made Davian and Knox laugh at Apple's words that were beyond the expectations of the people there.

"Thank God you can put up with Knox's stubbornness and past, honey. You're like me who's rarely jealous" Rexa said.

"Let's go straight to the dining room" Rexa said.

Then they all headed to the dining room together.

They chat with each other and Apple who is very suble can immediately adapt in their chat, including with Sarah who has just been known.

After dinner, they gathered at the pool area where there was a sofa in the middle of which was a mini bonfire.

"So you guys are seriously getting engaged?" rexa was quite surprised by the quick decision made by Apple and Knox.

"Yes, Mom. Mommy doesn't mind, does she?" ask Knox.

"of course. But you guys don't play, do you? Because if it is, mommy won't approve it" Rexa said firmly.

Apple looked towards Knox. And Knox just seemed to be smiling.

Apple looked towards Rexa.

"Yes, we're serious" Apple said with a smile.

Knox looked at Apple who didn't seem to be joking.

"Hopefully you will survive until marriage" Davian said.

Then the man knelt in front of Apple and put a diamond ring on Apple's ring finger.

"There's no need for any party because I did it in front of my parents, Honey," Knox said, kissing Apple's hand.

Apple and Knox stared at each other.

"This ring doesn't have Margie's name anymore, does it?" ask Apple who made the others laugh.

"You're so funny" replied Knox as he pressed Apple's chubby cheek.

"You didn't give him a kiss, Apple?" ask Sarah because Sarah feels the relationship between Apple and Knox is not too serious and impressed to play.

"Thank you for reminding her, Sarah," Knox said with a happy smile.

Knox was still kneeling in front of Apple and the woman was still looking towards Knox.

"I was too embarrassed to kiss her in public" Apple said.

Rexa laughed softly and rubbed Apple's back.

"No problem, honey. You're so sweet" Rexa said.

"He's never kissed me, Mom," replied Knox smiling at Apple.

And now all eyes are on Apple.

"I'm an old-fashioned girl and I hope you don't mind that. I'm afraid you'll play me later because you see your pretty bad reputation in women's eyes" Apple said calmly.

Rexa and King laughed at that, as did Davian and Sarah.

"You're so smart, honey. Yeah, aunty agrees with that, ", Rexa said.

Apple smiled faintly at Knox.

Knox stood up and sat back down next to Apple and put his arm around his shoulder.

Then they went back to chatting until it did not feel like the clock had shown at 10 pm.
