Medusa is a beautiful mythological creature in Greek legend and often appears in many fantasy films as the antagonist of a female creature with snake-haired hair turns anyone who looks at her into stone.

according to the myth, Medusa was originally a beautiful woman who worked in the temple of Athena, ill-fated because of her beauty that Medusa was raped by the god of the sea ruler Poseidon , this angered Athena so much that the Goddess cursed Medusa as a snake-haired monster.

Medusa is then killed by Perseus on the orders of the polydectes who gave her the task of bringing Medusa's head before the polydectes, per celsius, using Athena's mirror shield so that she does not directly stare at Medusa.
