Under the increasingly heavy rain the two men were increasingly tense and remained with his stance. Ed attempted to ask in a good way that his arrival with good intentions, as his efforts still could not reach Lyra's father's heart.
"sincerity? Of love? Do you think all that would take away the shame and pain he felt? If you really love you should never have done that to my daughter!!"

"You locked her up?"
"ARE YOU LOCKING HIM UP?!!" Shouted Edison loudly.
The atmosphere stiffened and was silent for a moment.
"How can you as his father lock your daughter up like that?"
Ed was ill imagining that Lyra should be locked up in his room. Like a Rapunzel who keeps in brackets in her tower, Ed doesn't want Lyra like that.

Lyra managed to break into her bedroom window and was about to jump off her balcony. Upon seeing his father about to hit Ed, his lips moved on their own and shouted to stop it.
Lyra's body was leaning towards the balcony and ready to jump from the top. Her father who saw that was instantly deathly pale.
"Yira!! What are you doing!! Get down from there right now!! Don't you dare - dare you move a step at all" said his father while holding back the panic.
"What are you guys doing?!! Congratulations to my daughter!!" His father shouted at the servants and guards.
"Papa promises not to hurt Ed, I'll feel sick if Ed gets hurt, don't hurt Ed in the least" Lyra said seriously.
"All right!! All righty!! But get down from there, quick!!"
Ed was stunned and silent at that. His body cooled and looked frightened to see Lyra who was about to jump.
"Lyr, stop" Ed said slowly.
His body trembled in fear.
"Father! I'll do what you told me, so you have to keep your promise"
Ed immediately ran and passed Lyra's father as soon as there was a gap, Ed ran as fast as possible towards the bottom of Lyra's balcony and looked at Lyra with his breath almost exhausted.
"Ed! Why are you running like that? Your leg has just healed, If your wound is open again, how?!!"
"So because of this you rejected my proposal? Because your father doesn't agree? Not because you don't love me?"
Lyra fell silent and ignored Ed's question.
"I told Ben and thought that you didn't love me anymore, It felt tight when I thought of that"
"It's back, we can't be together, our family won't approve of this relationship, let our relationship remain the past"
"Then why did you save me? That hug? That kiss? That Love Speech? Is it all a lie?"
Ed knew that it wasn't Lyra's true feelings. All that was said in Lyra's mouth right now was the white lie that Lyra had made for Ed.
"I'm just nostalgic, what good is our love if both families disagree?"
"Lyrs! This is not the time of Romeo and Juliet!! Who cares if the family disagrees?!!"
