Ed woke up quickly after what Benedict was shouting at him. What Lyra wanted was not a ring but a wedding. Not the beautiful ring that Lyra wanted - but all she wanted was a wedding. The bond of love.
"Am I really this stupid? " Ed asked.
Either he asked Ben or he asked himself. Ed doesn't know for sure at the moment he feels very stupid.
Ben just patted Ed's shoulder with concern. He knows that frustration with loved ones is difficult but they still have to make up for their second future. Ben still sees there's a chance they could be united.
"Ed sometimes you have to be able to see women from their side not from our sight."
"meaning? " Ed doesn't understand.
"I'm not saying I know women's hearts best but what I learned from my marriage is so, and as men we have to lower our egos in the presence of wives"
Ben begins to recount the beginnings of his and Nissa's married life. There was a time when Nissa was so angry with Ben that they had just entered a three-month marriage. "Is the food bad? " Tanya Nissa.
"No way, this rendang is delicious but I'm too full and want to eat a dessert soon tonight"

After Ben could not answer Nissa's question, they did not speak for three days because Ben was sure that Nissa would not be bothered. But on the fourth day with Adel's help, they made up. That's when Ben knows the rendang problem can run to all corners of the problem. What Nissa asked for was not attention in the form of lies for good but honesty for the sake of togetherness.
Nissa Lingan knows everything about Ben, even if it's that small. So if Ben lied even though he didn't want to disappoint Nissa, of course Nissa was angry. Because it is better to be disappointed honestly so that the two can understand each other and understand each other.
Hearing Ben's story, Ed couldn't stop laughing.
