THE PENANCE 2: THE PREGNANT
TP2 - 11 - Baby Crying

In the car, Dio was staring at the street. Haikal was sitting quietly beside him. When the red light came on, the driver stopped the car.

"Have you ended your relationship with that woman?" Ask Haikal.

"Hmmm" replied Dio.

"If you're lonely, you can hire a call girl. Don't fuck a woman. He can sue you and your career will be over" Haikal said.

"That's not going to happen" murmured Dio.

The man returned to his house, which is a luxury apartment in the elite area of Jakarta City. Dio went to the bathroom and cleaned himself up. While taking a bath, he whistled and hummed.

Dio saw a shadow pass through the bathroom curtain. The man frowned and opened the curtain. There's no one there. The man finished and then went into his room. Dio put on sleeping pajamas then laid down his body while sighing deeply.

"A comfortable bed, I miss you. I don't think I can go home this weekend. San Entertainment made me work like a horse" Dio said. The man also closed his eyes.

Zael stood in front of the glass balcony door. He watched Dio who was fast asleep.

"Why did the script of the novel just get here, Nalesha? Are you out of ideas?" Zael is also missing.

At home, Nalesha looked serious typing even though it was midnight. He was alone, because Zael was going out to bother Dio. Nalesha touched her goosebumps.

"Why am I so scared? I wrote the horror novel, but I'm scared too." Nalesha looked out the window then she closed the curtains and continued writing.

"Aldio Fajar will regret it. I'll make you feel like you're in hell" Nalesha said with a smile of fidelity.

The girl felt the presence of someone behind her. His heart was beating with fear. He did not dare to look back.

It turned out that Zael was behind him with his gaze fixed on the screen reading Nalesha's horror script inwardly. Nalesha turned and shouted in surprise.

"You surprised me!" Nalesha Gerrutu.

"I'm seriously reading your script" said Zael without burden.

"Why are you scaring me? You should have terrorized Dio," Nalesha said in a trembling voice as she was still shocked.

"I've come to his apartment. Yesterday you only gave me 2 pages of stories. I did it until it was done" said Zael.

Nalesha seemed to think. "Totally so."

"You want to finish it?" Ask Zael.

Zael cleared slowly. "All right, we do it together."

They both are serious about writing the script. Nalesha is typing on the laptop and Zael is expressing his idea.

The clock shows at 3 am. Nalesha yawned while covering her mouth.

"If you're sleepy, just sleep. I'll finish it" said Zael.

Nalesha nodded then fell asleep on the furry carpet while staring at the ceiling of the living room. Zael typed the script on the laptop. He looks serious.

"Suddenly I'm hungry" said Nalesha.

"There's a lot of food in the fridge" Zael said without taking his eyes off the laptop screen.

"I'm on a diet" said Nalesha.

"Yes, I've."

Nalesha looked at Zael's back. "Human's greatest fear is something he doesn't know and doesn't see."

Zael replied, "If he's scared to a severe degree, he could be mentally ill. As far as a person who commits a crime but has a psychiatric disorder will not get a prison sentence or death sentence, he will be isolated in a mental hospital."

Nalesha digested Zael's words. "You know very well about the laws in the human world, yes."

"Just a little" said Zael.
